Thank you! There might be a few videos in here of decks someone else made that I thought were great, but for the most part I brew them myself. I honestly think about this game far too much.

Its also nice to see more female mtg players!

I personally can't stand the 'they' naming. It's just wrong to the ear. I say 'opponent'or better yet, use the name of your opponent. Problem solved

I think it was recently announced that Magic is the most complicated game ever, so I understand your pain. I grew up with the game, which was much simpler in the beginning and grew in complexity over time, so I was able to absorb new additions gradually, and continue to do so with each set release. I will say that it is very satisfying once you get a handle on the game, and the wording makes more and more sense the more you get used to it. I would suggest sticking to a format (standard, modern, historic, limited, etc.), and getting a grapple with a smaller pool of cards rather than trying to learn everything at once. Stay away from Legacy for a while, lol.

​@@AbsurdHeroine I usually stick to standard/constructed. I'm horrid at limited. I really love the idea of building something new but I don't know the cards well enough yet. Sometimes I get ideas from the content creators and I build what I can with the cards I have and sometimes it turns out ok, and sometimes it's a disaster. Having fun though.

@@demonicell wow 8 months ago. Did you stick with the game? I dropped it shortly after Ikoria but still semi keep up with it as I absolutely adore it but dont have time to play it anymore

You actually only need to play every 3 days, because you can do 3 quests at a time. Reroll 500 gold quests to try for a 750 to maximize your profit, and don't buy cosmetics. When Theros launched I bought 80 packs all with gold, and have only spent like 5 wildcards.

I'm currently working on a Naya brew, so look for that in the next few weeks.

Right now I only plan to stream on special occasions. So, I'd love to do a stream when I hit 1000 subs or in April when the channel turns 1 year old. Some day, when this is my full time job, I'll totally be streaming every week.

@@AbsurdHeroine Having discovered you a few days ago, a bit after your 1-year mark and WAY past the 1000 subs mark, can I just say: your utter confidence 2 months ago about "when this is my full time job" is extremely badass! Since I don't want to be the weirdo adding tons of comments on old videos (let's be real I'll do that anyway), and I'm already leaving a comment, I'll also add that High Alert / Arcades / Huatli, Sun's Heart (nobody ever mentions that one huh) has been my favorite archetype since returning to MtG a few years ago, despite never making it big in the meta, so I loved seeing this deck :)

I felt like I didn't have space for it honestly. You might be able to squeeze like two in there if you removed a Calix and a High Alert.

@@AbsurdHeroine I think a neat idea could be swap Calix for Fae of Wishes with many different answer opportunities in the sideboard, Bant has alot of options. Edit: I guess that kinda goes against the intended theme though, Calix would be a great sideboard piece still.
