My exact thoughts, I recognized it immediately. I never played early COD games multiplayer (from 1 to 3), so it was a big surprise to learn MW2's Wasteland is basically a reskin of an OG COD map really.
Some maps have been reused over the years. Wasteland is Brecourt with some minor changes, but most of the design is the same. Chinatown in CoD4 is the Carentan from CoD1 and CoD2, but with changes to make it look like a Chinese town.
I remember back when this was released. Man those were the days. Gaming was so good and everyone was having a brilliant time. I would give anything to go back to this time period.

When I got my first ever PC with internet I played CoD 1 en CoD:UO multiplayer to death. Back when Xfire was still a thing i put in 5000 hours combined between 2007-2012. Times change man, but memories stay forever. Sometimes I pop on again and sometimes even meet players from way back. Love the game.
Hey man,I cant join the majority of servers in neither COD 1 or UO because it pops up some error regarding pk3 files missing and not wanting to load the map,Do you know how I might be able to fix this?and why it isnt loading the map in general?I have physical copy of both games though
Hello! Where can i delete the blue monkey mod? I deleted the game from Steam and then reinstalled it, but the blue monkey mod remained in single mode. (posters, compass, etc) Thank you!
