Even though I liked BO1, you're right that it was COD4, WaW, and MW2 that were just unreal experiences, as games alone but just in the sense of how the community surrounding multiplayer-play was. @@JForJackPlays
This game is honestly one of my top 3 favourite games of all time. Started and helped define an entire era of gaming. So many amazing memories attached to the series with my friends
I recently went though the remastered version on PS4 ... and the standoff at the ferris wheel is almost impossible on Veteran. I would say that was harder than Mile High Club. The way I did it was hiding at the bottom of the ferris wheel in the grass. With only 2 directions the enemies could get to me which really helped me to survive until the helicopter arrived.
@@Born...There's actually a way you can almost completely cheese that part that not many people know of, at 4:15 in the vid there is one of those little shack buildings if you go in one and lay down enemies can't shoot you and will rarely walk up to the door allowing you to pick off any that run in front the only thing is grenades can flush you out so you have to be careful but it's by far the best method (imo) at getting past that part.
Yeah no for real, I actually ragequit that part to go do mile high club instead lmao. MHC has the benefit of being one checkpoint with a minute of intense gameplay at most, but that timed survival part at the Ferris wheel is a long ass endurance run
@@ds--pu1tvheavily disagree, I tried that method and the big issue is having to run out and get your buddy to the heli while all the enemies that are left alive try to delete you
Any excuse to replay this masterpiece of a campaign is warranted. The achievement/trophy list is near perfect. Just the right balance of challenging, yet attainable and not reliant on grinding for hours upon hours. Conquering Mile High Club feels like such a momentous feat
No fighting in the war room was the first time I have ever given up on a Cod Veteran campaign or any hardest difficulty campaign. That mission was the literal death of me. SO MANY GRENADES!
That is certainly a hard one. Probably the hardest cod4 mission right? OSOK is up there but I think that's less difficult but much more tense haha. Then mile high club obviously but I think of that as a separate thing
Man, I’ll never forget grinding for hours maybe even days for mile high club. After the first like 6-10 hrs I was finally getting to the second floor each time. Now thinking of it I remembered after trying for a while I stopped and came back the following weekend and late Friday night I beat it.. this is one of those achievements that has a special place in our hearts 😂
Tough challenge when first starting out for it. Once you get the hang of spawns & timing it becomes somewhat enjoyable. Somewhat. I’m a bit of a madman so I made sure to do it on both editions of the game.
I’m really surprised that this game never had any Multiplayer achievements! Considering how much I love this game, it would’ve been one of those rare times where I actually would’ve welcomed it.
Hunted might actually kill my Veteran run twice here, I just can't get my head around surviving the helicopter and the respawning gunner that just destroys you at in a second.
@@JForJackPlays oh jeez, I guess I didn’t think about that 😅 well maybe the video for gears can be a one or two year celebration of your progress. Work on it little by little and the surprise everyone with a project that was in the making for while 😁 just an idea
I was right there with you, think my play time for the multiplayer is around 30 days. Nothing on my Runescape play time but still a decent effort haha!
I did it as a kid on the original mw but the remaster was so hard and infuriating that I just did a glitch where you win easily. Besides I think it’s fair I’ve already done it legit before anyway.
I am proud to say that i have the veteran mile high club achievement took me like 2 hrs to pass it 😂😂 the sequences you have to do have to be soo perfect sooo precise that you fuck up one shot or one flash you are done
Any of the Fables (I know the first one has an achievement that cannot be unlocked but getting as close as possible would still be good to see) Fallout 3 and New Vegas LA Norie And one of my personal favorite childhood games if you want something less serious Toy Story 3 Great videos!
Is just unfair that the Steam version of this game has no achievements, but I also completed the remaster on Xbox One, was a great experience except in One Shot One Kill and in High Mile Club honestly
Look forward to your video on blops 1 Ive got most of the zombies ach, just missing kill more than 10 zombies from 100ft using the scavenger on call of the dead, and to kill or die from a pack a punch crossbow and 2 on moon I have all the Easter eggs
Awesome video man! You should do bully sometime. I just did it in two weekends so it shouldn’t take you too long too. Keep up the good work though bro!
Wow... That's pretty neat. COD on Veteran is no joke. I beat Black Ops 1 a couple years back now. The most annoying part was, stray bullets, getting shot through smoke, and getting shot through foliage. It's like they could see you but you couldn't see them. It was maddening. Also, I play COD 4 on PS3 and sadly I don't remember getting achievements at all any time I played. I guess that's exclusive to Xbox 360...
oh strange. maybe the trophy system wasn't a thing yet? Will be tackling black ops 1 soon.. just missing a few base game achievements then lots of zombies. Got a different call of duty on the way first though!
Mile High Club achievement really isn't that difficult compared to some of the Veteran levels in World at War. The reason so many people struggle with it is that it's the first Call of Duty game they played. It does take a little luck, but once you know where to throw flash grenades, it probably won't take you more than an hour. World at War on Veteran, however, has a grenade fest that requires a lot of patience and luck to get through.
The original trilogy will always be superior to the newer retcon/reimagining ones. THAT SCENE, you know the one... evacuating a downed helicopter pilot. Flash. And then you immediately realise the scope of what's about to happen. Crash. Crawl out of the wreckage dying of radiation poisoning. one of the most brutal game cutscenes you can witness. I actually did this a while back, and I decided why not go for something dumb? I beat the developer time in the assault course on MW1 and MW2. Yes I'm that dumb. The leaderboard shows your friends time if I remember? Either way I made a screenshot of the time and some people I have as friends were dumbstruck.
World at War would be a good game to 100% if you don’t have them, there’s a few zombie achievements that aren’t too crazy to mix up the gameplay content Also cod 4, such an iconic game
I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of it but Naughty Bear was one of my favorite games as a kid. Been hoping they would come out with a sequel for years but I know the current era is too soft for the shit that goes on in that game. It’s pretty much a game where you play as a teddy bear and murder every other bear
