This still was used for the two missions called Sins of the Father and Game Over, also this still was used in the first mission called First to Fight when the US Marines' base got invaded by the OpFor in the DS version of Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare otherwise known as MW1.
the movie "aliens" there so many references to that movie in that mission, like "check those corners" "i like to keep this in handy for close in encounters" and " we are leaving", theres more but i cant think of them
one of my fav. levels, i like all the reference to aliens in the crew expendable mission. I feel like iv heard this song in ace combat 4 mission bunker shot.
+BaconMonster5920 Basically has always been. There has been a Call of Duty game every year since the first one came out in 2003. The only exception is 2004 which didn't release a main game, but still released an expansion, United Offensive.
Furthermore, I find that many of the tracks in MW2 are extremely similar to Zimmer's movie scores. In fact I find that many of his movie themes, particularly Gladiator and Pirates of the Caribbean, are very similar to each other as well.
This is a kickass theme. MW2's soundtrack has some good music, but the tracks still sound like they're for a game. The CoD4 OST sounds like it could be in a movie.
@gmk120 Hans Zimmer did not compose all the music for MW2, this is a misconception. He composed the main themes. Other tracks are written by Lorne Balfe. The main themes for Modern Warfare were composed by Harry Gregson-Williams, who is also a composer of major movie scores.

Oh damn it. I don't like Hans Zimmer... why doesn't the original COD4 composer keep working on this by himself. Not to offend or be rude, but I am studying composing for films too but Hans Zimmer is just full of mannerism. He sure brought the direction of Western or "BLOCKBUSTER" movie sound tracks, but that's it. This COD4 composer has composed Man On Fire movie b4 and I think this guy has a lot of potentiality, but who knows. But I am sure that he has much more variety than HZ.
