I have fiber internet and the lag still happens to me also. But it seems like to me that the lag only happens in certain matches and it happens right when I get like 4-5 kills in a row almost to my first streak. The servers have always been dogshit, you can see that when you get cheated out of a kill that you should get. Ping isn’t king anymore cuz I’ve got the best ping now that I’ve ever had and still get cheated out of kills.

It's called "Situational Design" my guy. When there's a new game coming out, funding and resources are pulled towards getting that up/running. Manpower, server space, etc.; it all gets shifted to the latest-greatest title development. They can't make money on older titles as fast as they can with new titles, so the effort goes into development and not sustainment. The current game just becomes what it is with updates to string you along until the new release hits and then it basically stalls out and morphs into a hot mess that will never be fixed because the next-next "big release" is already in the works. All of this is on purpose to push you away with problems from a game you own, and towards a game that runs decent that you have to buy. You get about six months of relatively solid support, and the cycle starts all over again.

There is a phenomanae in which there does not seem to be lag but with complete clarity you put half a mag into someone with there back to you and there is no effect then the person you were shooting turns around and shoots you with effect.

Hey Rick, not the servers… streamers and everyone else now uses cheat engines, way cheat engines work is by manipulating code in real time on servers… servers can only handle so much load when working smoothly.. well sloppy crappy cheat engines lag and or crash servers and lobbies all the time, it’s the cheats screwing up servers…

Was happening to me and my boys tonight on some maps, and I get 700mbps with a 4ping and was alright the last couple of weeks.. THEN BANG! Went from latency at 4ping to 28-48-50 then dropping then all over again its fkn bullshit! 🤦🏻‍♂️😡... And honestly I don't know if it's the SBMM and the EOMM but it's fcked 😮‍💨 are they punishing us better players because they want the average player to stay engaged IDK but FFS 😮‍💨

The servers are complete dogshit, consider yourself lucky if you live in the US or EU, I’m in Australia and there just isn’t enough people playing in my skill bracket so it puts me in fucking super sweaty Chinese / Vietnamese servers on 250 ping like 80% of the time and it just forces me to play until I just go afk and get a negative kd for a few games in a row

Same here…yesterday for more than 10 games I got random teammates not higher than 35 and had to deal with massive lagging starting mid game….and got absolute fried…my experience was that my participation was only to serve as a shooting duck

I believe that it's the algorithm. Every time I'm starting to do well the lag starts. Just like when the algorithm thinks I need an ass kicking and I am not getting fucked it turns off aim assist or the game starts to lag. It's just Activision playing God.

Rick serious… I play call of duty since day 1. Im 39 years old. We have a group of friends dat play daily 1 or 2 hours at night. My KD is 2.8 in resurgence and I already felt before season 5 SBMM got stronger. Since season 5 SBMM IS HORRENDOUS HIGH. We come from a long day work feeding our kids make love to our wife’s and yes we also play the game.. for fun. But there was no fun anymore as we jump in resurgence. All out demons. Horrible. Servers? Haha it’s since season 5 laggy af as you have halfway 8 kills. The sound cues are suddenly disappear.. so I bought the netduma and VPN on it and I love the game again. 50/50 lobbies but not those ultra sweaty lobbies as before. Is it cheating? Technically yes. Is videogaming for fun? Yes. And we wanted the fun back. Activision plays with us 100%. And I’m tired of it. So I don’t care anymore that I did something to get the fun back. Btw love ur content

Rick look into your graphic settings and turn anything that involves using bandwidth to off or low. I found out that there are hella textures being downloded during game to stress the connection.

The lag is explainable, but here's my problem and it's a HUGE ONE. I play ranked, I ONLY play ranked because that's where the real competition is. My problem is this, within a week or two's time I'll have multiple occasions where I'll not load into the match on time and when that happens I GET SUSPENDED. The first time is 3 minutes that I'm not allowed to play and 30 Sr lost, then 15 minutes 50 Sr, 1 FUCKING HOUR 150 Sr, and then finally we have 2 HOURS 200 SR.... I take, wait... TOOK ranked seriously and so to have this happen over and fucking over repeatedly is really fkd up!! Here's another thing that doesn't make sense about that. I've gotten suspended on many occasion two days in a row and the penalty obviously goes up, but there are times that it doesn't happen for days but when it does happen I immediately get an hour suspension and 150 Sr lost. In other words there's no real way of understanding why you're getting penalized that 1 hour and 150 Sr when you haven't been penalized in a week and there have been other times that I've been suspended on consecutive days and it starts at the 3 minutes 30 sr... I've started streaming my gameplay (LiVeWiRe42o is my Activision acct as well as my Twitch if anyone would like to follow I'd greatly appreciate it!!) because it's good to rewatch your matches and see where you did well but more importantly to see what you did wrong and could improve upon. The reason I bring this to you is because quickly you have gained a voice in the community and I feel like you give a fuck as to what's going on. We're friends on the game so maybe I'll get into a cpl matches with ya one of these days! Hell maybe we'll have that beer together one day DaFuckYaDoin LoL. If you can point me in the right direction as to fixing my problem that'd be great, otherwise thanks for listening!

If youre lagging MOSTLY during gun fights or hectic moments, Please go in your graphics settings and put your download cache thing to minimal and download limit to 1 and see if you're still rubber banding every game. I think too many textures are being downloded during games so it becomes ubstable. I made the change and i promise it worked. Ps5.

On Demand Texture Streaming won't be helping one bit, can you imagine how much more "extra data" that those boxes have to push out. I switched quite recently to a 1000Mbps up/down dedicated fibre connection and for the whole part my new pings vary between 4 and 18 as a rule (great right?) but now and again I STILL see games that connect me with a ping of 125/150 ... go figure that one out, have they got random netwok bottlenecks, maybe??

Look at every other live service game, what do they do which Activision refuses to do? They take the game down for dedicated server maintenance for a few hours once a month. This has never happened once in the CoD franchise's history and now we're seeing the results. Without dedicated server maintenance, servers will ultimately deteriorate. Ubisoft did this with The Division, where, after The Division 2 released, they flatly refused to do proper server maintenance and the game, especially when going into the Dark Zone, became completely unplayable. MW3 is my last ever CoD, and I've been around since CoD1, because I'm sick and tired of the same bs every single year. Enough is enough!

When people gonna realize theres tons of cheaters who activate lag switch and crash servers then we gonna evolve and stop complaining about connexion and servers lol i ran into multiple lobbys with people using lag switch and cheating !

No disrespect my guy but I can honestly say I don’t trust any content creator. Too many has ruined it for others when considering cheating or manipulating the routers to get easy lobbies. It’s cheating or the game is bad every year. I have never seen so much drama with a game. I’m not saying u are cheating but I’m not saying u ain’t. I don’t mean no disrespect and could be wrong but u got to look at it from perspective.

Unpopular opinion, but, I'd prefer they put some bots in lobbies, just like fortnite does, so that sbmm isn't that strong, low skilled people still have their fun and higher skilled people don't have to sweat as much

IMO Too much content for the servers, MW2 Guns/Attachments camos etc, All the playlists, All the weekly Challenges, New maps i could go on, but yeh all this and the FACT that we are still playing on Games built of the last game and the one before that and so on, servers are outdated, and the tick rate is stupid low. And your speed wont be such an issue its the Ping that makes the difference! you could have 10mb up and down and ping under 50ms and you still wouldnt lag if Activision sorted it so everything ran as it should!!

It’s been lagging a lot more lately? Suck when you play rank, you get kicked out through out the game. My internet is running great but still has big lagging problem. They need to fix it asap even more than anything else. Doubt they’ll do anything tho.?

Its no coincidence. If youre doing great, sbmm will kick in. I dont like handicapped lobbies. Let it rip. Let me get roasted, or vice versa. Its 2024 going into 25 unfortunately, and servers shouldnt carry people based on stats. Pings are not an issue, to which it just reroutes information suited to related speeds (supposed to), so yeah. I jumped ship for helldivers 2 🤘

There's a new game coming out bro with all the so-called top players play in it right now and the majority of them have talked about cheating or being accused of cheating I don't think it's the servers I think it's cheating in general missing the game up computer reacting for human to give them advantage over their opponent is where all your lagging glitching is coming from
