My head-canon is that the Black Ops universe takes place in an alternate universe where there were more technological improvements after WW2. That's why BO2 looks so futuristic despite it only being 2025.

Agreed. I've played pretty much ALL COD games and BLOPs ONLY for the campaign, NEVER for the Multiplayer, bunny hopping around a map is Insane to watch. Zombies are mediocre at best. All the games look amazing, but they spoil it with speed running humans shooting each other. defo for the kids now.

Tbh the parts in OG MW where you play as a random soldier in large scale battles were my least favorite parts of the series. Its feels like an endless shooting gallery with enemies 100m away, and generic military dialogue.

@@orifine6763 Lmao Black Ops has never been about being grounded. It's gory and gritty with a Hollywood action vibe which has always been Treyarch's vibe. This isn't Modern Warfare. Cold War was just like this. Treyarch has their formula which has worked in their favor for years. I'm personally tired of the grounded approach. It was cool with MW19, but MW2 and MW3 wtf lmfaoo they couldn't even stick with the formula properly to make it interesting.
