@@bronson2585 This comment genuinely upset me. Little kids like you that have no idea about the brilliance of the 360 controller and it sucks for you guys,
If I’m using a controller, it’s gotta be the scuff impact. 360 will always be the king but the new scuffs are just too useful. Twitter - @DanielGornicki7
They likely have done this because PC offers way more sponsorship opportunities for the league - all in a sudden you can onboard Intel, Nvidia, Corsair, Logitech, all the big hardware companies.
Yep, you are a 100% right. This is strictly about money, cause if they cared about creating a true competitive experience they would stick with one input option. Balancing aim-assist vs mouse is nearly impossible for a good developer so I can't imagine all the cod developers and Activision (in it for the money) will get it right at time soon. They want to move to pc to get more money but know that console pros have huge a fanbase and without them "competitive cod" will be DOA
@@reaperofinsanity3370 yeah I found that out later. It's kinda funny though: "yeah we switch to pc, but controllers only". At least the game will be fair this way.
@@AlienRope due to the precise aiming restrictions associated with analog controllers aim "ASSIST" was created by gaming developers to counter act those restrictions, but auto aim is completely different and if you've been playing fps games both on console and PC for a while you'd never make that mistake..... which kinda makes me doubt your disposition no offense
As someone who has played CoD on PC since after BO2, I finally feel important again now that the CDL is on PC. We will no longer be the ass end when it comes to CoD games. Also this means maybe Activision will finally invest in Anti Cheat. I mean, console players should be excited too. High refresh rates, high fps, expanded graphic options. There's just so many positives to this.
When he said Promod and joehands0me I got butterfly’s and nostalgic euphoria. Those were the days , shout out to people who knew what promod was and experienced that era .
@@isaaccroff5046 won't stop the Cronus users sadly but thank goodness in all honesty. I have never seen hackers in any game than I have seen in Warzone. @@isaaccroff5046 thats true but thats what everyone said about valorant when it had all the hype then a week after release people in the higher ranks were seeing hackers all the time
grizz commented on one of hectors videos a few weeks back and i almost had a stroke. absolute COD god. i wish newer players knew how he influenced the COD world they see today.
Here's the thing Hector @heczTV . The majority of the competitive FPS players on PC play with MnK. We're not going to just switch to controller just to play competitive CoD. If the CDL wants to capture the attention of the PC comp community it needs to be cross input. We're not going to throw away our muscle memory for one game. We can't challenge the Scump's and the Formal's because we're barred from the competitive scene. I believe the AA can be balanced, much like Fortnite, in a way where both MnK and Controller players can remain relevant in the comp scene. The PC FPS community is huge and we love competitive games.
A remastered version of the 360 would be so awesome, but the good thing is everyone gets to play what they love the most, I’m sticking to the XB1 🤤 @trncstudio ✌🏻
Ive been playing games since N64, finally built me a PC a few weeks ago, havent even turned my xbox on once since then lol. It’s literally just collecting dust now
@ehzlah xbox 360 scuf. I had you and the whole optic team sign my greenwall xbox one scuf, at umg ontario 2015. I appreciate all of the memories you all helped create for me.
Excited to see it go PC for the competitive scene for sure, I swapped around 4 years ago and the FOV sliders, graphics settings, smoothness and such are amazing. Not to say the next-gen console aren't good, I was planning on picking up the PS5 but since PC is going to be included more than ever on the competitive side, Hopefully for OLTs/GBs/Wagers as well, since that's why I was going to pickup the PS5 since PC scene died off once kids starting hacking in MW, I just don't see the point and upgrading to a 3070 seems like a better option now. My main concern with the PC scene is the hackers though and unfourtanetly it's just something us PC gamers have to deal with when it comes to FPS games, though I do believe the issue with Warzone has a lot to do with the fact the game is free, I played Blackout on PC and maybe ran into a hacker twice in 100s of matches. With all that being said I wish you guys the best of luck on this upcoming CDL season and will definently be tuning in to see that glorious framerate and extended FOV competitive footage. @Burstahh_ on Twitter and I'm currently using an Xbox One controller with a strikepack just for the buttons (puke), I would love to have the OG 360 scuf controller again, miss that controller design over the Xbox One controller. Impact looks nice but man the driver issues with PS4 controllers I don't think are worth the annoyance sometimes haha. P.S: ProMod was the shit
@@learntodrivenow playstation 5 may have the ability to run 120 fps, but that does not mean developers will take advantage of it. Fps effects graphics, processing power and so much more. Devs will purposely lower fps to increase graphic quality. On top of that even if the game was capped at 120 fps, it will never consistently be 120. Fps will drop all the time. Even the best pc builds suffer from frequent fps dips
@@learntodrivenow is it a consistent 120 fps? Is 120 fps only on the main menu screen? Will in-game be 120 fps at all times? There is obviously a reason why the pro league is moving to PC
I'm a man of culture as well, I tried to go back to Xbox 360 controller once and it just didn't feel the same as it used to. I'm stuck with the Xbox one controller and I've come to love it. Just wish I could get my hands on an elite controller, preferably a Chicago Huntsman one :)
Hecz you have obviously never used the elite v2. The grips themselves do the job not to mention the stick tightness and and they even give you a case for all of your attachments and the controller itself.
It won't do anything but hurt them though. CoD games die after only a few months on pc in general. An league has pushed the casuals to get better to get to competitive level. IMO they are going to see a large drop off if they keep this idea going for any length of time.
zephiro l I see your point most players I’m pretty sure are on PlayStation/ console and that’s where most casuals are. But overall PC is a better platform for esports and gaming I wonder how this will affect the players I don’t really understand how cod league works in terms of movement input like can they use mouse and keyboard?
@@zephirol4638 that won't change anything. Player who wanna play comp will switch to pc as they did from Xbox to ps4 some years ago. Before Sony bought the rights there was literally no competitiveness on Playstation. Also even on console cod is literally dead after a few months compare to the release. Very few players play exclusively cod all year long. Those times are gone at least for four or five years, because since than console cod got some competitors. Before that you had almost exclusively only battlefield, halo and cod on consoles.
@@aesie1229 Yeah I'm not sure, An I agree PC is more optimal. I'd just have thought they would do more of a promo thing to entice people into coming to pc. before doing so. But time will tell to see how it all pans out.
@@KDiiX I'm not denying that but back then they did promotional things and advertisement campaigns before doing so. This came out of nowhere in comparison. An yes they die down, but NOTHING like they do on PC. COD games on PC you struggle to get full games after just a couple months depending on the specific title. But yeah it sounds like we pretty much agree on everything. My point was more just how quick and out of nowhere they did it being a bad idea if they wanted to grow the PC side of COD.
I’m not the oldest but my dad had the original Xbox and that’s where I started playing at the age of 3 and from there we didn’t really have the money to buy the 360 but my cousins had it and I played with them every single day at their house and I grew up with that controller and console. When I was 11 my parents bought me the Xbox one and I’ve had it ever since and just grinding out every call of duty and just having fun on it and moving into the new generation of consoles I wanna start getting more into the competitive side of call of duty and having a scuff controller can be a start. Love the huntsman and everyone on it and for hector as always viva Mexico 🇲🇽 @cgodinez1416 love y’all stay healthy and we bringing it home in 2021!!!
Has to be the scuf impact controller obviously, love listening to you break down everything and share your thoughts, so calm about everything, everyone else seems to be so negative but you always give a great honest opinion, bless @ChrisSimonsLFC
100,000,000% will be using the 360 only the OG players understand how comfortable it felt in your hands. The curves felt like you were holding a model who had the an hourglass body. Mmmm this is getting spicy, can’t wait!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I've recently bought a gaming laptop and when I'm playing warzone especially I like to use controller, I've only got a cheap £20 elite controller which is a knock-off Xbox one controller but it does have a couple extra buttons on the back which is cool. Unfortunately it's wired and quite bulky I'd love to try an Xbox style controller with paddles on the back!
@@ThisOrangeIsSour Lol its 2020, the wireless technology that Microsoft & Sony have, there is zero input lag when it comes to controllers. Sane for Corsair, Logitech, Razer etc when it comes to wireless mouse.
@wil broddle you probably haven't realized it yet, and not saying it as a definitive fact but from my experience those 20$ controllers have dog shit analog sticks, there is some apps on PC you can check your controller analogs with, and you might find the deadzone and diagonal use of the sticks to not be what it would be with the real 60$ thing.
I like using my Xbox 1 Elite Controller with my PC. The extended paddle I use for sliding and it comes in handy versus holding down B on the controller. Ever since going from console to PC gaming it’s day and night difference. All the pro players stats will skyrocket.
Yeah because the game is definitely easier on controller but everyone wanna act like it’s not. Definitely isn’t. I miss controllers and snapping onto folks with aim assist.
Daryl Shirey it’s easier to snap onto people with a mouse, so idk what u mean. Aim assist isn’t as crazy as everybody makes it seem. Pc gets the movement and snap speed of 20/20 sens but has the aim stability of like a 4/4 sens. Just watch people like Thinnd or symfhuny. They always look insanely more cracked than scump or simp or anyone, because it’s just downright unfair to anyone not using a mouse
Daryl Shirey they play on controller because 1. It’s almost impossible to cheat, and 2. Because it takes more raw skill and ability to be the best at a controller. A mediocre player on a pc has a decent shot at beating even the best at a controller. It’s simple as that man
The beauty of PC isn't only the mouse and keyboard, it's being able to use any controller you want! It's why fighting games have seen a resurgence on PC.
I am beyond excited for the move to pc! Gonna be such a better experience for viewers and with challengers being crossplay we will see so much more up and coming talent. I am planning to hopefully rock a 360 scuf just like you. The shape and feel of that controller is so amazing and the nostalgia it brings with it as well! @MaverickSZN
Scump wasnt playing the true best players. A lot of top players arent well known like dfalt, nate gibson, TGD etc. He wont compete on controller however if Scump switched to MnK then je could probably still compete.
Joem8 you’re extremely wrong. top console players will continue to shit on pc pros. it’s just simply game design and mechanics. there accuracy at that level doesn’t even vary by more than 2% usually. aim assist makes up all that difference, especially during close gun fights and sprays. i could see pc players dominating with the snipe, but i can’t even fathom how they could compete against these top level smgs. i think we will eventually have max 2 pc players per roster. for snipe and long distance ar. but man it’s hard to see how they could win smg duels.
I love my Dualshock4 but I have modified custom Grips that make it fit my larger hands and I have textured thumb stick covers that make it feel perfect. The only issue with Dualshock4 controllers is durability because they break in no time and/or start rubber banding within a month or two. The new ones that is. I have a white DS4 that's like 4 years old and it's the only controller I've never had issues with. Sony seriously needs to step up the quality of the components because 6 controllers per year is a lot of money and although I use the protection plan, that's still $120 per year on protection plans being as you have to purchase it every time they swap you out.
I use the standard ps4 controller and the things that get me are: the angle of the handles are not terribly comfortable, the slack or whatever of the thumb controlls or "joysticks" before they start acting, the pull in the trigger switches before they do anything, after a while when you try to run the "joysticks" push button goes down and stops you from running, when they wear out you have to pump the "joystick" switches to keep running, things like that...
With COD moving to PC I hope people finally see why PC are held to such a high regard. Yes there are elitist gate keepers. But objectively no console can ever compete with PC without compromises.
@Pimping Llama I haven't had to upgrade my pc in 5 years of owning it. You end up paying more on console. Since you have to pay for online, AND $80 for a new game. Shit is ridiculous. Literally run the numbers. If you buy two games every month or even every second month. You'll pay WAYYYYYYYYY more than a good pc costs and then some
@Pimping Llama and you can move your pc around. You have SOOOOO much more flexibility on pc. I have a friend that keeps his pc in a backpack. YOU CAN BUY A RASPBERRY PI, PUT IT IN YOUR POCKET AND PLAY GAMES ON IT
@@lukekearney1704 lmfao I mean consoles can barely run cod games. A raspberry pi can play emulator games, minecraft, other indie titles. My point is, you can have TONS OF GAMES for like $50 or less in a system that fits in your pocket. If console players want convenience then there is no better option than that. Sure you cant play triple a titles. But I mean, if you play the new COD MW, you wont be able to fit any other games besides it because it basically is a terabyte lmfao
@Pimping Lamma You do realize you can build a mini-tower with a helluva lot of a power, that you can take around in a back-pack, and won't need to upgrade nearly as often as you'll be buying a new console each gen?
I am going to be using either a PS4 controller or a scuf impact!! I love the feel and shape of the controller because i have a little bit smaller hands and have always wanted a scuf controller! @TTVSync

I really love the feel of the 360 controller. It’s so perfectly made in the fact that it’s not to big like the Xbox one so you’re able to react faster to the buttons since you don’t have such a huge space from triggers to buttons. but I don’t have a pc so the next best choice would be a Xbox one controller. Would love to win it. @yo_marccc

Stomping Peak lmao how is it easier??? It’s more controllable but definitely not that easy .. someone picking up for the first time will have to get used to it. I was watching sandy ravages stream last night and he was ranting about controllers and aim botting since the kill cams don’t tell the difference unless it’s a pc hacker. Control is a lot easier man. You want a challenge turn off aim assist :)
@@dcort100 just like someone picking up controller for the first time will have to get used to it. PC has very, very little recoil compared to console in my experience. It's also alot easier to destroy people with snipers because aiming is such an easy thing. Its really not that hard to get down and its alot easier to have a great shot on pc over console. My kd on pc is 3.75ish where it's only like a 2 on console. My bullets do not miss on pc where on console I will use 4 or 5 extra shots.
Yeah this move sucks for online competitive tourney players. Personally, I am not dropping $1500+ on a pc to play call of duty. On top of this i am not going to purchase a console that is inferior to PC. If I at a disadvantage from the jump, why even bother buying a new console?
I really like the 360 controller, bo2 specifically, that’s when I really started going hard competitively. Staying at the top 20 master division in ranked play was the most fun I’ve ever had. I never knew how to get a 360 controller working on a ps4 but if you could help me out it’ll be amazing! Love the work you’ve put in along with sethy Seth! @primetsavage 😁
Switch over to PC doesn’t seem like a good idea imo. Console allows everyone to be on an even playing field and controllers r meant to be played for video games too
They are playing with controllers. I think it makes it an even more level playing field. Giving players the choice of what controller they want to use. It's only going to give us even better gameplay to watch
Period end of story, if you buy a quality controller like a Scuff, any supposed advantage a PC player has is nullified. They are so quick and crisp it's insane and then you have 4 additional buttons controlled by paddles and you can program it so those perform tournament legal functions.
I literally just bought a PC for Warzone and every call of duty beyond and am still looking for an Xbox One controller to use! If I get picked as the winner, I promise you, you will know my name in the content creation scene within 1 or 2 years. Mark my words. @Motzyy
I’ve watched some of your videos and I can guarantee you will be HUGE within the next year. For someone so small, you have incredible talent and professionalism.
I was using the Power A controllers, great budget alternative for scuff like controllers there is also something called a "pro pack" for xbox one controllers and it gives you buttons on the bottom of the controller both very viable budget alternatives :D
Another reason I see the CDL letting kbm players in within the next few years is because esports played on controller is practically nonexistent in Asia, giving acceptions to fighting games and FIFA. But if that’s the case we are witnessing the long term transfer of kbm being a majority in Call of duty. Let’s face it, it’s not 2009 anymore
I would be so happy if kbm was allowed in cdl, on pc cod has always been the home of the high sens crackheads and getting to see the peak of that would be so fun to watch
It’s messed up, I’ve recently switched, and now I see the unfairness, or even discrimination against pc players. We bust our balls to get our aim and movement so well. And here we are, having the decisions made by aim assist controller, frightened console players.

blaze royal If playing with a controller w/o aim assist is so hard again mk players, how about switching to mk? I’m an ex controller player, and the aim assist shit irks me so much. It takes a lot of time and effort in getting good at mk. There are days you are tired, and it’ll show in your aim. Whereas on controller, you get handicapped a built in setting that might as well be considered a cheat setting. The skill range is far and below on mk as opposed to controller.
Honestly I don’t understand why everyone hates on the One controller so much. I’ve played on PS3, PS4, 360, One and mouse and keyboard with PC; the One controller and the PS4 controller with the back button attachment are so comfortable for me compared to the old gen controllers.
