Had the *biggest* smile on my face when the objective "Kill Makarov" showed up. There is simply no glory, no honor in that; just a sense of duty to finish it for those who never saw the finish line.
SAIGON 67 it was perfect, the entire reason the modern warfare franchise happened was because of makarov, as he said in mw3, “all they forget that all it takes is the will of a single man”
Through action, a man becomes a hero. Through death, a hero becomes a legend. Through time, a legend becomes a myth. And through motivation, a myth inspires a man to do action.
@@ThatGuyKh1 Seriously with him not speaking in the missions, I assumed he only nodded when Price/Soap gave him orders. And he finaply broke his vow of silence in battle in dust to dust.
+asasa Who's this? -Prisoner 627, i'm coming for you Makarov. -Haven't you heard Price? They say the war is over. -My war ends with you. -Like it ended for Captain Mactavish? Tell me Price, how long did it take him to die? I destroyed your world piece by piece, it's only a matter of time till i find you. -Then you won't have to look far.
After Makarov’s death: Ramirez was promoted and given the Medal of Honor for being one of the U.S. army’s greatest lines of defense The 141 soldiers all got their names in the Hereford clocktower Nikolai opened his own flight school Frost participated in the 21 firearm salute for Sandman, Grinch, and Truck The Zakhaev International Airport got renamed after a true Russian hero (Yuri, Reznov, Petrenko, etc) Price occasionally visits his comrade’s graves.
@Jude Brem here's another one: Shepherd's plan was exposed by Capt. Price for the fraud he is which includes the killing of Ghost and Roach along side having knowledge of the Zakahaev airport massacre and was strip from all his owners both medals and as a war hero. He will be remembered by the entire world as the most tratorous general of the entire history.
@@judebrem9689 slr here's one: After the events of MW3 the Russian president ordered the recovery of the bodies of the Task Force 141 operatives to be recovered in the Russian-Georgian border after negotiations with both the US and UK government. After hours of searching they find what remains of Ghost, Roach, Ozone and Scarecrow along with the others and were giving 21 gun salutes and medal of valors with Captain Price in attendance they were buried in a special cemetery along with Soap and would be remembered as the heroes who sacrifice there lives along side those who died in WW3. What do think is this good?
Not gonna lie: Yuri’s death always gets me. He fought like hell to make amends and even though he gave his life to save Price, the fact that he never gets to see Makarov pay in the end still hurts. That last headshot makes me sick, but it adds one last hint of satisfaction when Makarov finally hangs.
Saddest thing is Soap and Price never saw ghost again. They didnt even confirm their death. As for sandman, he was a hero. Soap is the guy that never gave up. Did everything to win. In the end there are three X's on this picture.. :(
+ritchman55 It is a country... England, Scotland, and Wales are all countries. They're just grouped together as Great Britain which is part of the UK. Northern Ireland is not a country but it's still part of the United Kingdom.
+B U R A K A F G H A N Soap has trusted you, and i would too! So WHY THE BLOODY HELL MAKAROV KNOWS YOU!!!??!!! "Jhon Price" Yuri: He was my friend in facebook, twitter, and friend in Elsword. Price & Me: DAFFUUQ???!!!!
MW1: Ended with the beginner. MW2. Ended with the traitor. MW3: Ended with the one, who planned all of this. Great plots and great story, loved the game series!
10:38 really hits you with that flute makes you wanna drop a tear because you know have completed Modern Warfare and now they’re will never be another one but wait....... it comes back
I'm actually impressed that the mission didn't include so many objectives like make your way to the hotel, destroy the helicopter, etc. There is only one objective, "Kill Makarov"
There's a simplicity to war. Attacking is the only secret. Dare, and the world yields. How quickly they forget that all it takes to change the course of history - is the will of a single man. Makarov: Who is this? Price: Prisoner 6-2-7. I'm coming for you, Makarov. Makarov: Haven't you heard, Price? they say the war is over. Price: My war ends with you. Makarov: Like it ended for Captain Mactavish? Tell me, Price, How long did it take him to die? I've destroyed your world piece by piece. It's only a Matter of time until I find you. Price: You won't have to look far…
This is the one mission (not counting the AC-130 mission) in the MW trilogy where as a player, we feel completely invincible. You're finally in a juggernaut suit and you're a walking badass, just mowing down enemy after enemy in your push to get to Makarov. And it's at this moment where he realises that he's screwed and calls for his choppers to get him out of there. Pure epicness. For the first time in the game, Makarov was afraid and runs for his pathetic life.
They need to remaster 2, because it was the best, and because they could add stuff like my fav charecters voice, roach, and do some cool easter eggs, I still play mw2 to this day
Jerry Isaksson Well actually if you looked at all the missions it usually says Taskforce 141- Disavowed But in the last misssion, Dust to Dust it says Taskforce 141. No disavowed. Just Taskforce 141.
Kyle Foust Due to the events of Shepard's death TF141 was presumed disavowed to any action and will be hunted by any means standard untill price redeem his team by saving the Russian President and President daughter but at a cost to sandman, Grinch and trunk

@@joshsanders5875 I know right. Who knew Captain Price would make the triumphant return, and bring the 1-4-1 back. Hell, who knew we'd get our childhood video game war heroes back. No matter how old we were back then, or how old we are now, MW will always hold the title, and memories.
I've been playing COD since i was 7. I'm 21 now, almost 22. The good old days of COD were MW through MW3, BO, BO2, WAW. I think the first one i ever played was Big Red One.
@@Arts_by_Umar I think Big Red One was the first COD i ever played, and i was 7 when i played it. Man, looking back, Call of Duty really has been my childhood video game.
11:25 when it is the last day with your boys in school and say goodbye to each individual and on the way home you getting tears with legendary memories of you and your squad
For me, the modern warfare series is the most adrenaline pumping, terrifying, yet awesome of the call of duty games. Probably because it's in modern times and is similar to war that goes on in my lifetime. And the awesome soundtrack
@@thex2983don’t forget Vasquez, Jackson and Griggs. Vasquez was even a friend of Price and Gaz as they along with Griggs were seen in a picture together
You have no idea how severe it can be for Price. He lost his friends which he cared and enjoyed working with them as a team. Especially traumatizing for him is Soaps death.
Okay so let's get this straight you Dropped the soap Squashed the roach Crashed the truck Now my freind you'll pay the price And might be haunted by a ghost
Jake Hebblethwaite Your obviously Bristish :P To be fair, America has the most powerful army period, the Navy Seals are, at least for all we know, the greatest fighting force we have. Therefore, they're the "best". Then again, the SAS are contenders, and that's saying something.
You're* ;) And you are obviously American, if you research the amount of training that British forces get compared to Americans then you would realise that man for man Britain is superior. But you have way more numbers and a military budget that is so ludicrously high that it surpasses every other country in the world's combined and therefore have better equipment. But we go for quality over quantity, any US serviceman that has served with the British will tell you so :P
Saddest monument in MW games: MW1: Massacre on the bridge: Gaz and 2 other SAS dies. MW2: You know: Loose Ends ending... MW3 Soap is DEAD! Also, if the fans don't make Operation Kingfish, no MW2 would exist,so thank you fans!!!!!
