To answer the "what sight is this?" question, that's a reflector sight for aircraft, it's what's installed in cockpits for pilots to aim with. It also requires a power supply, which none of those guns have.

I’m still baffled how Sledgehammer managed to go steps back with Vanguard after they did WW2 Sure that game had its issues too like it being mostly a movie, but cmon it was at least more acceptable than this

They didn’t even take the time to add a bayonet animation, it felt like such a rush in bf5 to run out of sniper rounds and run in stabbing them and pinning them to the ground

I would give it around 10 years before seeing this franchise die, everyone says the new COD is always way different to the last one and its improved but deep down they know there is but a mere background change. People are defending it but in all honestly this game would be much better of having one game every 5 years, that had larger updates added so that content became consistent while still generating enough money through seasonal passes.

In the other CoD games, when you die, you get to read great quotes from great people who actually existed. Here, you get quotes from the fictional characters to fuel the developers egos. As if they can compare to the likes of Eisenhower, San Tzu, Montgomery, Paton and so on.

But thanks for pointing out something I already knew very very well. BTW, does it say anywhere in that Wiki that Russian female snipers worked in international fighting platoons together with the British, the US, and such too? Honestly I wouldn't know either if I was a just casual cod fan from BO2 to now on, but since I'm here since ps2 era I knew it and honestly I was just not caring about it all. Sadly back in 2018 BFV, BO4 was a huge dissapointment of gaming industry by far but at least in the middle of it there was RDR2 and now there is GTA DE which also sucked.

The problem is that they used real people, at least in the case of the first guy, who was an actual paratrooper and one of the first black paratroopers to ever serve, and actually had a badass career that ended with a suicide charge against a German controlled bridge along with dozens of other paratroopers in 1945. He, by himself, ran orders and vital intelligence from advanced units back to the front lines and to commanders. But none of that was good enough, so they stole the story of the Red Devils who dropped in behind German lines the night before d-day and had to take out bridges and railroads to prevent the Germans from reinforcing the beaches, and what Red Devils they did show, they painted as cowards who didn’t want to risk their lives to do their duty. They lied about the life of a spectacular man, and slandered a company of so,e of the bravest men who ever lived. Fuck off Activision.

I kind of feel sad that there still hasn’t been a single German episode/chapter in neither battlefield or cod from the perspective of soldiers that were forced to join the army which was a big part actually.. would make up for a pretty good story imo and could give some more insight than just - oh Germans ah yes nazis

i agree it could be a pretty immersive and sad storyline like seeing a 18 yr old german boy be hyped about joining the army but then seeing the horror of war, or a more sadder origin story in which case he was forced to join and had a hard time being a soldier. it'd be really cool if they showed the sleepless nights soldiers had and how tiring it was to be a soldier.
