Call of Duty: Warzone - RTX 3080 - AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation - HOW IS THE PERFORMANCE?

In this video, I tried the FSR 3 Frame Generation Call of Duty Warzone and this is the performance that we have now. And it was mind-blowing like it made the FPS from X to over Y. Maybe some input lag but nothing very very disturbing.
Specs:
Motherboard: MSI PRO B660M-A DDR4
Video: RTX 3080 Suprim X 10GB
Ram:16 GB 3200MHZ
Processor: I5 - 13600KSSD: Samsung 1TB
Timeline:
00:20 - 02:54 EPIC Settings 1440P RTX OFF
02:55 - 06:24 LOW Settings 1440P
06:25 - 10:18 Performance mode 1440P
Settings:
00:00 - 02:52 1440P ULTRA DLSS QUALITY
02:53 - 06:12 1440P ULTRA AMD FSR 3.0 FRAME GEN ON
06:13 - 09:37 1440P BASIC AMD FSR 3.0 FRAME GEN ON

I am getting less input lag with this on than native 1080p. Frames from around 150 to now 300-350 amazing for amd 6800

Tried this on a 6800 non xt and had to crank up my graphics cause it was running 280-300fps. Now playing on high textures etc at 240-280. There is no stutter, no lag input worth mentioning. Actually mind blowing. My CPU is just a little 6 core 5600

Hi, I don't understand, I have a problem: AMD frame generation is not enabled, there is absolutely no difference in FPS when enabling and disabling settings in the menu. RTX 3080. Maybe who knows what's the matter?

You have a limit on your FPS? On the display tab. Be sure that is set as unlimited.

After turning on frame generation the fps does not feel smooth even if the fps is higher. Why?

i notice i get fps drops, so 300, then bam down to 150 for a second causing stuttering

i agree 3 people with different systems tried one with a gtx 1080 and a ryzen 5 2600. asnother with a ryzen 5 2600x and a 1660super, myself with a ryzen 7 5700 and a RX7800XT nitro and feels weird high fps but there is way to much input lag does not feel as responsive so we ended up turning it off completely this migh work for single player games but for competitive fps sweaty games like warzone nah its marketing plus placebo effect.

@@s1gnex Go to settings and then in quality section you will find image upscaling there you will find an option of FSR 3 turn that on and if you want Frame Generation you can do that too.

The input lag is from fsr3 or frame generator only?

Both. Usually DLSS also has input lag so if you want less input lag, native is the way to go.

Why don't I have more FPS with DLSS than with native ? Around 130/140 with both.

@@gaming-pot RTX 3080, i5 14600K, 16 Go 3200 MHz DDR4. Cooling stays very chill : 60°C/140 Farenheit max on GPU and CPU.

Yea, could be. But if you have a low card this will be your only chance for a good fps.

Same, nothing very very noticeable, like you can see I made some kills also, without feeling anything. If you want to go pro, yea, this may be not the good way.

all those fsr dlss and other trash are for single player games ONLY. for competitive games they are no-go

Yea, i mean that's a true statement. But how you gonna play a game that is not that optimized for native runs on over 160fps ++. What if you have a monitor with 240 hz and you sometimes need 240 fps in order to be smooth? For now, DLSS/FSR is the way for more fps in order to find the smoothness of the game and care less about latency. Maybe not all of the players have rtx 4090 and can play native with 200 + fps. The problem is that all of the gaming devs seems to push a lot with this upscaling dlss/fsr in all of the games. No one is working on native anymore like 10/15 years ago.😞

@@gaming-pot in fact with 4090 we are getting mostly 300+ fps so its useless for us but for others maybe its a viable choice. I want to see what will happen when i sell the 4090 and then be playing with 4070ti lets say that i have on another pc. Will i have problems? I dont think so

Still, is 4070ti, very good card. Please try it with 3060 or 2070. Or you can go even lower, 1060/1070. @@Icy20
