Call of Duty WW2 is the first game in the series to revisit World War 2 since 2008's Call of Duty World At War. How does the series handle returning to that time period 9 years later? Let's talk. Subscribe for more: / gameranxtv
Artwon Nowtra i agree with him. I usually like to play it first and figure it out on my own and then watch for missing details. I don’t want to go into a game and know everything
Christian Hinojosa no! You are wrong! I'll have two number 9's.. A number 9 LARGE.. A number 6 with extra dips.. Two 45's one with cheeseee and a large soda.
Ashvin Ambegaonker ah yes, similar to the sound of the "old COD players" mashing their keyboards in the comment section typing a phrase along the lines of "fucking jet packs" after being unable to take advantage of a basic movement system
Obey Clay nah, just a normal comment. Maybe I should just tell the I'm older than them next time and then they will immediately respect me and take me seriously; you seem to know what I'm talking about
DaGamingBoy I picked up the movement system just fine and was still very good at BO3 and AW, that doesn’t change that the movement system was still garbage. Just because you can learn to deal with something doesn’t make it okay or good, the movement system is still garbage even though I was still good at it. That’s why every single pro player was begging for boots on the ground because jetpacks are fucking dumb.
I haven't played many shooters but I like the fact that WWIIs campaign isn't just shoot things over and over, you have objective s like defend the dude or whatever
wilfred nieves it still time place in WW2 lol there was never a first one. I wish. And I’m not talking about cod 2 It’s strictly been a ww2 game till 2006 then the game cod 4 came out and wasn’t a cod World War Two game. Idk who told you that but they are wrong
just take a year off cod because look at assassin's creed. they took a year off and made a game that saved their series and could be the game of the year!
I don’t have a problem with people’s opinions on this game. The only time I have a problem is when they try to take their opinions and turn them into fact.
Hello gameranx, I really like your videos and how helpful they are, but pls mention split-screen stuff too cuz that's a BIG reason why people buy or dont buy games
I just finished it for the first time and I thought the story was really good. It's the first COD where I could actually see myself in the main character's shoes. Objectively speaking, if you beat the story and watch the first cutscene again Stiles said makes a comment about keeping all his fingers if he wants to take photo of the year. The photos he takes at the end, would surely win that prize.
Overpowered 76 health regenerates on multiplayer but not campaign. In campaign, health packs reset often and your teammate can give you one every minute or so depending on how many kills you get. It makes the game interesting although a little bit more challenging, although I like that.
Also in multiplayer you can change health regen settings to no regen. How i like it, because if you get shot your blood isn't going to clot that fast or that big of a hole.
The whole "exosuit" thing and all of that future shit was actually good for CoD in the competitive scene. It raised the skill ceiling a whole bunch, especially when it was done for BO3. But for the casual crowd, which is _very_ large compared to the competitive scene, it wasn't cool and it wasn't good. It's good that CoD went back to boots on the ground though, cause now Titanfall will definitely get way more attention on it's next release. I can already feel the "more future shit, but now it's a ripoff of CoD" hate coming for us.
I think im done too. I only bought cod for the campaign and i was happy with infinite warfare because they actually tried in that one but this new looks and seems awful.
Jude Ceant As a bf player, I have to say that the campaign is really quite good. It can get really cheesy but the characters are likable. The multiplayer is trash though and zombies is boring
in 1943 an american rifle was issued with it, , it was the MARK 2 reflective sight, and even before on some hunters rifle in the early 1900's en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reflector_sight#/media/File:Howard_Grubb_Reflexvisier_2.JPGHave to say that those model were unusable if the weather wasn't bright enough.
@@ghikira i am playing it since 4 days and it has a solid single player campaign and multiplayer is really good. btw its my first cod and i liked it very much.haven't tried zombie mode yet but i think it will also going to be good. you must go for it.
Preston Garvey, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be bugging people about a settlement that needs help? Really you... *you slip away before he can continue his rant*
world at war but yeah I feel u the guns are wired to that m1 reload I have a real one and if you load that thing you won't have time to push the slide closed cause it will catch your thumb
personally, I loved the game when I played it back in 2017 and still do to this day. I find it to be the best cod game with the amazing campaign and multiplayer. haven't been on in awhile but might get on again.
Picked up this game recently because of the Humble Monthly special and have been having a blast with it too :) looks like it got a bad reputation around launch but it received a lot of updates since then , its a shame the updates are over now but the game is great for what it is
i too have had issues with the multiplayer but mine is the fact that it takes half an hour for a game to start... my friends are having the same problems it loads the lobby and then we just sit there after the timer runs out
This was the first cod I actually owned myself and I’m not to familiar with the other ones but the guns and gameplay In this one is awesome, probably my fav cod game in my opinion.
Remember how exiting games were 10 years ago? We had Halo 3, COD 4, Gears of War, GTA IV, Assassins Creed etc, all bringing something new and exciting to the party. Nowadays games are either stale and repetitive or just going back to create nostalgia as well as all this micro-transaction BS.
Armandi, I completed Doom four times and thought it was good, but the multiplayer wasn't all that and I did trade it in (still a good game tho) Wolfenstein the old blood I played but only got about half way and never played it again. I've never played overwatch. Titanfall 2 is underrated and so is gears of war 4 IMO and they have been my fav on this gen so far, but I still think alot of last gen games were better for gameplay (especially multiplayer). PS I've never been interested in Nintendo, the games always seemed childish; I started with a PS1 back in year 2000ish (when I was a kid) and then switched to xbox with Halo2 - never found a reason to go to Nintendo. I'm not saying I'm right, it's just my experiences.
Iron_bot 27 E The footage here was not "faked" or "stolen", in fact it is common for large channels like this to have multiple platforms in which they play games. They probably had 2 people playing, one on PS to get footage and one on Xbox to test the game
NoahNeverSleeps that’s stupid if you wanted all the zombies mode it would be atleast over 200$ due to many of the maps need the season pass to get. I would like it at 60$ too, but I don’t think it’ll happen.
Zombies is 1/3 of the game, so let's say each mode is worth about $20, I believe we had 7 games with a zombie mode so far. That's $140, but considering all of them are really old, it'll probably be worth $80, but that's for the pre packaged maps. The season pass to get most of the dlc in each game is $50, but that's for multiplayer maps too, so let's say it's more along the lines of $10 since you only get 1 map per dlc. that's 7 games with $10 dlc, plus $80, that brings the total to around $150. Most of this is just guessing and estimates, so it probably isn't accurate, but it was still fun doing it. Plus, they'd probably lower the cost (If they ever did do this) so that more people would buy it. Actually, I think they'd remaster a few maps from different games and sell it at $60, then remaster more maps over time and have those as dlc again.
Activision goes back to their roots, doing what everyone asked being boots on the ground, world war, serious zombies, and theres always that dude that finds one tiny thing (possibly an improvement), and bashes the game for it.
The Cabba I remember. And that quote alone is why I won’t buy this shit game and I’ll wait until next year for treyarchs better version of probably the same game.
Hunter Gillikin I hope Treyarch makes BO4, but no futuristic shit put it in as a prequel to 3, and the sequel to 2, that’s what needed to be done last game
Bootsey if this game came out in 2006 it would be the best thing since sliced bread. In the context of 10+ COD games it is very similar even though they're popular for a reason. People are spoiled.
Not everyone has 60€ lying around that they want to spend on a game that is'nt even done yet. If I sold you a shirt, i demanded 60€ but half of the shirt is missing, while you were promised a fully complete shirt. But anyways, you buy it, it is quite cool and it says Supreme or CoD on it, so it won't matter if it's finished or not. Right?
This game at the moment, multiplayer wise is kinda bad. I would wait for about a month for them to release patches, unless you like zombies and story. They are great imo.
Yes, my thoughts exactly! Im waiting to get it around the end of year when there has been enough time for patches and for glitches to be fixed so i can experience the game how it should be :)
I just think the franchise has gotten stale. They make a new game every year but they never really make any innovative changes. Like yeah people will say that they added jet packs and wall-running but those were just new mechanics in the same core gameplay we've had for years. WW2 is dope because they finally went back to a historical setting and removed the jet packs which people grew to hate but I think what people forget is that without those it is still just a generic shooter with no real depth. Not really the fault of the developers, there's just not much you can do to make a predominantly multiplayer game exciting year after year while also keeping the same core gameplay. If you look at Battlefield which is often rivaled to Call of Duty they have pretty much the same core gameplay in each title but the difference is they make noticeable leaps in graphics and technology each time and their formula of large maps with various gameplay mechanics produces so many variables that even playing the same maps over and over you will have a fairly different experience each time. The Call of Duty formula is something that worked really well five or so years ago but now it just doesn't deliver on what people want, the gamers evolved but Call of Duty stayed the same. I personally have been enjoying WW2 a fair bit but I'm also sad that Call of Duty doesn't feel as fun as it used to.
Your whole comment has me worried. I haven't seriously played CoD since CoD4: MW, and I was hoping this would be the one to jump back into it. Hell, I actually messaged a few friends on Xbox Live, who were playing the game, if it's worth the buy and they had the SAME sentiments as you. I would love to have a new multiplayer game to play (played a LOT of BF1) but sadly this one isn't it.
battlefield one is better then ww2 because it's more fun it looks better and all the class are balanced out and no the game play is not repetitive at all
The Soviet Supreme that's exactly how I feel as well! Maybe if they had 1 or 2 studios working on the series and not realeasing one every fucking year I'd probably still be playing them.
I was subscribed but never really looked at these before you buy videos till I accidentally clicked on one which is this one lol and wow! I might start watching these
Dannis Mc Mannis um if that's sarcasm. Then no body told u to read it. Its for the video and for a lot of people to read not jus posted for u individually. But if it's not sarcasm. Thanks:)
Daniel Fonseca well, before you start acting like a child, labeling people; think about it. 10$ for just a game mode is more fair than enough considering it has loot boxes that will give it additional revenue. Not only that but the loot boxes seems to matter and affect the gameplay to a certain degree. Then there's still seasons pass for new zombie maps too. So no matter what, they're making money. So... Yeah. Reasonings.
I thought the characters in the campaign were actually very well made. If you've seen the HBO series Band of Brothers you'll see a lot of similarities in storytelling and you appreciate this campaign a lot more.
