This isn't always the case. In AW, you keep all perks permanently (except Exo MEDIC in Solo), and in BO3 and IW, you can get a Gun/Card to keep your perks.
I find that if you get the high melee damage blitz, the brutes will die from only 4 or so hit with the shovel. You could try to dodge their attacks, but it’s easier if you have the cloaking ability
That's good to hear I bought it because my friends bought it and I haven't enjoyed a multiplayer CoD since Black Ops 2 and haven't enjoyed zombies since black ops 3
I'm getting WW2 pretty soon and it's actually got me hyped for a call of duty in years and the zombies looks awesome and just unique which I'm looking forward to.
Quick side note for the perks, if you have all four of your perk slots filled you are still able to buy perks. The catch is that the perk that you have had for the longest will be removed and all of the perks in the bottom bar will be shifted one spot to the right.
True that. Like most "tips" are stupid. Who has played this mode and hasn't tested all the buttons to find out you can share points? Or going deeper #1 is to kill just enough zombies to do what you need because they come in stronger waves? Um...ok? That would be helpful if in 2008 Treyarch didn't establish that by using doors so literally every fan of the zombie mode since then already knows not to just go in killing zombies because it's not just a survival mode and has other things to accomplish in maps even if the early ones were just opening up the map. Who goes into any CoD zombie mode to only kill? Oh yeah, those that shouldn't be playing and won't be watching guides even crappy ones like this...ok well anyone can and should play the mode but I mean those who are messing up the game for other players shouldn't be going on to kill. There is solo mode and party settings for that. Not online random play.
TheMightyDingus yea the mystery box tip is stupid and the box weapons are needed to survive higher rounds and help more and the rounds actually don't increase difficulty it's actually each zombie killed that increases it they say this in the loading screen as one of the tips it's obviously scripted this guy hasn't even played it.
I felt he didn't know shit about zombies when he said being alone in zombies leads to death in his review. Being alone doesn't get you killed, if anything being in a group gets you killed.
I'm pretty sure myself and millions of others have been calling for Zombies as a standalone game, just kinda done with basic COD multi (in every iteration since BLOPS 2) and the campaign hasn't been worth it since Modern Warfare 2. [Edit] I feel that COD Zombies could be more fleshed out if it were a standalone. I'm not saying that most players are done with standard multi (im personally done with that part of it) if that were true this cash cow franchise would have been sent to the slaughter house long ago.
As someone who buys cod purely for zombies this is by far my favorite. Zombies are finally fucking scary again! Gives good WAW memories, amazing graphics, not too challenging but still difficult if you're new. This game definitely revived cod for me
I only just installed this morning and played the prologue and crapped my.pants when the first zombie jumps out from behind the tree. Live zombies but I'm a wimp haha
Back in my later years of high school I used to play Call of Duty Zombies often. But after Call of Duty Black Ops II I eventually grew bored of it and never played the most again or Call of Duty period. Once I started playing Killing Floor I never went back to COD Zombies. In Killing Floor 1 and 2 there is a sense of progression and a level up system which actually makes the players of feel like their time as worthwhile instead of just constantly trying to get to the round you can only to die and...that's it. KF2 brings new content with every update patch and it's all free too.
There are actually 2 endings, one “casual”, the one they were referring to and one “hardcore” that will most likely require you looking up a guide and is more challenging and puzzle based. COD zombies has always had endings in the most recent games but reviewers miss out on these quests and other cool features because they don’t know they are there because they don’t watch guides so I’m glad SHG gave us the casual quest
This is the zombies I've waited for since bops 2. Such a great mode. To me the zombies mode is worth it by itself. Jus wish there was at least one more map.

don't waste time locating the mystery box? All you have to do is go into the main Courtyard look into the sky for the green glowing light and it reveals which part of the map the mystery box has spawned.
I miss how zombies were, especially back at WAW, where you would defend a room, and then we would start moving out. I have this one now, and I always feel lost lol
A bit late but shooting a brute in the spine kills it really fast, will take less than a mag usually so its better to get them out of the way when you can
Another very important tip (not just the head) Is to get and SAVE the rocket launcher that has a 9 round clip. It kills the boss brutes and flame thrower guys VERY quickly . Upgrade it and keep it the entire game. It helps Soo much . P.S. it only take 3 shots with it upgraded to kill a brute and about 1 full clip for the flame thrower guys.

Its harder to get farther with a team than it is solo in most Zombies. Jolt sharing is an amazimg feature. "Pests" are not an issue, manglers are. They have a big reach and they block training spots. Tip: you can usually get "monkey bombs" within a few hits. Headshots are extremely valuable since there are guns that have headshot multipliers up to 6x... Yeah... thats rewarding
I found the best set up is (you need the mule kick X3 weapon thing) fligerfoust (9 round rpg (need flack jacket)) mg42 or mg 15 preferably 42 and tesla gun
Ive noticed that if you hit the brutes in the back kills them quicker just hit them and run towards them as they charge and shoot them on the back not sure if people know this or not !
No offence, but this video is primarily for new players and made by a new player. #7 is wrong, im not sure if you know that but you can kill brutes with like 5-7 shots in the back(in early stages)its their weak point + you get more xp and jolts for them, so i wouldn't recommend avoiding them cz they move really slow and can f you up when you run from big hordes.#6. pls don't get increased melee damage( unless you have 5 slots and camouflage).#3 the worst advise there is. Farm the box! You NEED the jack in a box. This grenade is very important to have. It attracts zombies to it and explodes after some time. You can use it to revive someone or just escape zombies if you get cornered.
If you are trying to run away and get trapped while reloading people like to be able to stop mid reload to shoot the zombies trapping them but now you are forced to wait for the reload animation to finish.
"don't waste time locating the box" it only spawns in 3 locations, 2 of which are close to any regular circle you can make around the map, not to mention the green light
I’m hoping that zombies does not become a standalone game because knowing Activision, they’ll make some sort of in game currency like liquid divinium and gobblegums, but more severe so that people spend money to proceed into the game faster.
I was in a solo game and I didn't have any tesla amo left, and a lot of those tiny zombies without arms swarmed me and I died in round twenty six - ish
DanoPlays I don’t see how it’s fresh compared to treyarch zombies it’s literally the same thing with a couple tweaks to make it their own style. Jolts instead of points, blitz instead of perks, Easter egg that ends with a boss fight, pack a punch, etc. it’s literally the same thing just new map
the easiest way to take doen a brute is to either let it follow a teammate and shoot in the back or let it chsrge past you and then shoot it in the back. Either way, the spine is the weak point
I finished “the end” but it’s really just the Easter egg, it is quite easy to do tbh you just need to know what to do, now the hardcore ee phew that’s a different story upgrading all the tesla guns when I only know 1 😒
If you shoot the mace zombie with a tesla gun and get behind it and shoot it in the back it will instantly kill it You can also agro him and when he's stuck in the ground shoot him in the back(metal spine) and it will kill him in 3-5 shots

My brother and I just started with this last night... Is it still possible to blow the legs off a zombie, making them slow and giving you time to run around and do stuff, like it was in Black Ops?
Been playing zombies since BO2. (Ive played BO1 and WaW) Im also a solo player. (I dont like public matches, gotta know the person) Watched this to see if the advise was solid. Pretty decent. No offense but Id recommand people go watch CodeNamePizza, Mr.DarlekJD, ect. They offer guilds and they play zombies for a job so they know everything the second it comes out!
I have gotten as far as defending the tower but I don’t know what to do after that! If anyone knows of any vids that can proper help then that would be awesome!
For the brutes you can use the tesla gun, shoot him with the tesla gun, while he gets stunned shoot him, 1 he get kills faster 2 he won’t run after you since he’s stunned.
Tip, do not ignore brutes past round 20, they stack up, and ruin training strats, I made this mistake, round 36 like 8 brutes in one area, 4 in some others, a Brenner here and there, the zepplin, o boi, really ruined my run
Save your self some time this video just contains stuff you figure out on your own very quickly. It mite be helpful to someone who has never played cod zombies but if you have played it before don’t waste ur time
