First time watcher. I am waiting for my st max set to show up! So just watching other people enjoy them and I currently have TaylorMade rac that I got in 16 used I hit my 7 160-80... I have out played these clubs for so long. Once I hit the 7 iron 217 about 10yrds off consistently I got fitted and I can't wait to grow into these for the next however many years. I am so excited to play these on the course and get my handicap down from 16.

As always, a great video on the new Callaway Rogue irons Jim. Have tried the irons and the Max with the offset took everything left. Considering the Pro’s with little off set to find the center better. Besides, I like the look

Just ordered my Rogue Max set. Had my fitting yesterday and it played out almost exactly like your video….I even giggled as I watched the distances creep up to an average of about 175/180 with the 7. I added a 4 hybrid and a 65*Sand(Jaws MD5). Great feeling club. Steel std shaft. The Driver and the 3 wood are so forgiving allll sweetspot! Cant wait to play em! Im 6’3” so the fitter added +1” on all the irons.

That pure chuckle of joy while hitting the Max OS with the Tensei Blue 75 sold me! Finally replacing my Fusion Wide Soles. Thanks for the video.

Great review Jim and Happy New Year ! If I didn’t get custom fit last May for 2019 Titleist T-200’s i would definitely try these ST Pro’s. I’ve seen other reviews and they look amazing w great feel and performance. My T-200’s were custom fit in Mitsubishi Tensei Red AMT graphite -1/2 inch and 1 deg flat. 4 thru 48 GW By the way Matt is no longer associated w TXG. He recently resigned since Club Champion bought out TXG.

Great opening sequence👍👍 And the Irons a pretty good as well👍👍 The ST PRO look very nice and remember playing the original Rifle shafts with the matt plated finish, as I remember they had a super-smooth feel, it would be a great combo if the new Rifle shafts felt the same👍👍

I absolutely launch my ST Max irons. SO LONG AND FORGIVING (stiff flex Elevate MPH steel iron shafts). I hit the AW 145, PW 155, 9i 165, etc etc. The forgiveness is mental. It’s easy to overlook the chunky heads and semi clicky feel after seeing the results. Highest iron I carry is the 24.5 degree 6i. Above that I have the TaylorMade SIM DHY #4 (22 deg), the ST Max 3H (18 deg), ST Max 3W (15 deg) and ST Max 9 deg driver. Using a mid launch 70g 6.0 flex HZRDUS SMOKE im10 cut to 44.5” in the driver, 65g stiff flex Tensei AV Blue in the 3W, 75g stiff Tensei Blue Hybrid shaft in the 3H, and a 75g stiff Diamana Limited Hybrid shaft in the SIM DHY. My driver club speed is around 110mph, but these work great for anyone curious. YMMV 👊🏼😛 LOVE the entire Rogue ST lineup.

Can you as a club fitter strengthen the lofts on the Max OS irons? I like the stronger lofts of the Max irons but prefer the larger head Max OS heads. I was told at my local golf store that they can't strengthen the lofts because it's a cast club.

Great review. Last fall I purchased the Big Bertha B21 irons after a long layoff from the game. Although these clubs are a tremendous improvement from my last iron set (Titleist 981's), I am still not hitting these clubs great. I did see your review on the B21's and you were pretty high on them. I noticed the Rogue st max os lite have more loft than the B21's, at least up to the 9 iron where it evens out. In your opinion, is there a considerable difference between the rogue's and bertha's? I am a 19 handicap and play 72 holes or so a month, would love to hear your feedback.

I just ordered the Max OS with the Tensei 65 shafts, 1/2" longer. Glad to hear your review. I plan on adding the Pro A wedge to the set, does that sound good to you?

New golf attire, the apron. Pockets to keep your ball marker, tees, glove when putting etc. why did I not think of this?

Jim, Thanks for the review. Looking to upgrade from a set of callaway diablo irons. Generally in the hihg 80's to low 90's. Never had a problem with getting the ball in the air. Do I go with the standard ST or the OS? I feel as though I am over thinking this. Your thoughts?

Hey Jim, the hosels look shorter compared to the Apex line. Is that by design for the Rogue’s?

now that these have been thrown into the mix it's a call between the Max and the Apex DCB

Thanks for the review! Question for you, I'm really interested in the Rogue ST Pros for myself. Is it possible to bend them 2 degrees weak to make the lofts less insane?

Just ordered a mixed set, 4 and 5 iron in the Max, 6 through AW in the ST Pro. The Pro is Amazing. I ordered with the UST Dart graphite shaft regular flex. I am near 70 years old and was easily hitting these with plenty of distance, no vibrations killing my hand, main reason I needed a new set, arthritis baby, not stopping me. I love the look of the ST pro, minimal offset, blade like appearance. Now I have to wait for them.
