The other day I only listened to about 20 minutes of the podcast, got distracted and turned it off the do homework. I have been really struggle with understanding how God could forgive me after messing up so bad for months and after a hard talk with a mentor and a few days of crying I finally got the chance to listen to the last ten minutes of the podcast!!! Honestly all my life I've wanted to hear God say hey get prepared and listen 😹💔and I've taken his other instructions/his signs so lightly coz that wasn't how I wanted to hear from him but recently he called to me in the scariest but humbling way and this message its self was also confirmation to my calling of finally listening and being obedient and my amen is that I'm going to stop being stubborn and listen and be patient because of the payment which is what Jesus did for me💞

I love at the end when Alex said that He had nothing to do with Gods calling for us. The fact that Jesus is the main focus and He’s the one that saves us is the whole point. We didn’t do anything, not one thing to earn or receive the blessings God has given us. When we truly realize how important Jesus’s sacrifice is then we see all of the blessings that come from it, and it’s all a gift from God. God doesn’t need us, but he shows us how much he wants us and how much loves us by Him sending Jesus to suffer and die on the cross for us. Jesus shows us by being willing to follow the Fathers will and also loving us by staying faithful to God. Words aren’t enough to describe how incredible God is.
My Amen has to be just being obedient and patient with God. He knows what is best for me and I need to actually trust in Him. No other way I can make it, and there is no other way I want to take

My amen to this episode is that “many are called but few are chosen”. God is calling all of us, He stands at the door and knocks but few ever pick up the phone or open the door. This is a great reminder for me to choose God each day and communicate with Him

Amen!!! I have really been struggling lately with being patient with the call and just being patient for what God has promised in my life overall! This episode was interesting because yesterday I had a youth group session where we discussed God's will for us and what we need to do discern it. And it's always good to be remembered what we are called for and who made the order.

Hey! I am a little late but i think i saw this podcast at the right time for me. And this is why it's my amen. I've been struggling with living humbly and patiently waiting for God to tell me that I'm good to get up now. I feel like i have been in this waiting season for so long when it has just been a couple of months and truly there's still a lot of work to do in me. There's so much damage in my life because I wasn't able to keep my flesh in check and was indulging myself in so many bad things and behaviors whereas Jesus has been wanting to repair it all along but I was so busy complaining about the wait and how i felt stuck, that i unknowningly kept myself in the way of his work. So yeah this message has really humbled me and reminded me that i didn't deserve any of that in the first place. Thank you so much for that and May the Lord keep on doing this Wonderful work through you and your family.
Tbh I’m continuously asking God about my calling and what my mission is as far as being a representative of the kingdom. Rn I’m trying to be a humble example, I preach to some colleagues and try my best to live a Christian life. I’m sure I’ll get it one day I’m just kinda impatient.
I really need a heart check right now. I’ve been so stuck in comparison and insecurity I feel like I put myself back in a place of loneliness cause of rejection and it’s just made me angry & sad. I’ve been a little lazy in my time with the lord but I know as I come back to him he welcomes me with open arms. Trying hard to just take negative thoughts captive as well but most importantly genuinely trying to seek the lord even when I don’t feel like it ESPECIALLY waking up early in the morning and just reading my word

Interesting topic and presentation. Thank you. The topic of "called" or "being called" is challenging because there are aspects of it we can't understand because scripture does not include everything. The most prolific question is "Why does God call some of His children to Jesus Christ and not call others?" I do not believe we have the answer to that question other than God is sovereign and can do whatever He pleases. If you have been called, get on your knees every day and thank God for calling you, rather than question why others around you (including family and friends) have not been called. "Many are called, few are chosen." One thing to note is the word "Many", meaning not all are called. Many are called, but not all. Being called is not something we have any part of. Being called is 100% by the will and grace of God alone. See John 6:44. No man can come to Jesus unless God draws him to Jesus. There is no gray area in this passage. There are other identical passages. God, and only God, decides if you are going to be called from being dead (in spirit) to being alive. He can call you at birth, he can call you at 16 years old, or he can call you at 48 years old, like He did me. You have zero say on whether you are called or when you are called. (Note: evangelism is something to think about in this context - if you evangelize someone who has not been called, you are not getting very far with them, in fact you may deter them. If someone was recently called, evangelism could be beneficial. This is a deep topic, of course God uses His chosen to help once someone is called, but we don't do the calling, God does.) When someone is called do, they always come to Jesus Christ? "Many are called, few are chosen." Christ says this many times in the Gospel, what does He mean? This is directly tied to the parable of the seed and sower. Of those who are called, only some are chosen to enter the Kingdom. What is the parable of the seed/sower really saying? It is saying that if you have been called and have truly accepted Jesus Christ as the one truth, you will NEVER back down in His name. You will exhalt Him without hesitation up to and including persecution resulting in physical death. 3 types of people (seed) are called, but not chosen. Seed by the wayside, seed on stony ground, and seed in thorns/thistles. These 3 do not truly accept Jesus Christ with all of their heart, they are lukewarm or not warm at all. They are called but not chosen. Perhaps by seed by thy wayside are not even called, they don't even entertain Jesus as the one truth, we don't know for sure. The 4th type of seed is the one that is called and chosen, this seed will never back down in the name of Jesus Christ no matter what - true disciples. If you are called by God, and you are truly reborn of the Spirit, you will never back down for the namesake of Jesus Christ. You will still be a broken sinner, but you will accept that Jesus took those sins to make you perfect in His name. If you are chosen, you will never die again.

This is off topic, however I need an opinion of someone I trust truly is guided by the Holy Spirit when interpreting and understanding the Bible, which would be you guys. My question is, is it okay for true Christians to celebrate Halloween? Not even the part of believing of celebrating the dead or doing satanic, witchy things, but only giving out candy or taking kids trick or treating. I would like to know your opinion and guidance on this topic around and on Halloween and the celebration of it.
God is good, the good news is that Jesus died for are sins, we are in God's faimly and we will be in Heaven for eternity because Jesus did it for us on the cross he took the wrath of are sins and we no longer are tied to are sin all because of Jesus, believe in the that stay strong in that have faith in that and you are granted eternal life through Christ, God is good always
The call of God comes with gifts, getups, guys but also guidance Respond to the call of God like Batman responds to the call of Commissioner Gordon, just show up The guidance is saying I’m God you don’t have to be worried I’m God you’re not just show up and I’ll guide you the guidance is that I have this under control the call of God comes with guidance because the call of God is in itself the guidance because I’m calling you I will be with you and because I’m calling you you will be guarded We need these gifts these getups we need these guys we need this guidance we need the guarding the calling is very important the problem is we miss it We miss the call because we don’t respond in humility like Joseph did We miss the call because we fall because of pride because we don’t move in humility like Joseph Another reason is because of hotels There are times in our lives where God is saying go to Egypt but because Egypt means discomfort it has bad connotations to it because Egypt brings back chaotic times in our lives in our mind we say I don’t really want to go to Egypt God I’d rather go to a hotel This is kinda what Jonah did God say go here he went there How to answer God and His call is two ways patience and payment First you have to have patience it states they stayed there until the death of Herod that would’ve take great patience because they didn’t know when he was going to die They were in Egypt maybe longer than they expected How we mess up stuff in our life when we don’t respond to the call of God with patience To respond to the call of God is to respond with patience the call of God always calls you to wait on the Lord To call there must be coverage there must be a paid plan In order for God to call you and for you to call God there has to be payment involved Have you responded to the call? You respond by being patient but you also respond by seeing the payment done for you and believing and trusting your payment So what God calling you to do? What is the call of God in your life right now? How are you responding to the call? What sticks out to you that you’re going to turn off this episode and be thinking about throughout your week? He took care of the call? He took care of everything else? Everything Im going to hear on this call

Wow! I wish I could smash the like button A THOUSAND times. I’ve just recently started listening to yalls podcast, I’ve been listening to and watching your short visual storytellings. And needless to say this Ep. WAS SO POWERFUL. The Lord’s presence was so clearly felt in this. Thank you guys for stewarding what he’s placed in yalls hands. Answering the call. My amen would be the 5 G’s. And waiting. He’s called me to wait in one specific area of my life. Something I want to patch over with someone. and the crazy thing is I heard just wait months ago when it all went down and I’ve been hearing it little by little these last 3 months. This was just another reminder. Have patience and trust he knows better than I do. But he has also called me to Get up and rise in another. I’m a actress and he’s told me to move and start auditioning for things bigger and outside of my safe zone and I have been reluctant to move. Because of fear.
