11.13.22 I was baptized. And I kidd you not , I literally said to myself “I feel like I did something RIGHT for real for the first time in my life”. I literally understood and just knew that I am following God’s will for my life. Forever grateful 🙏🏾💙 I doubted for a long time if I was truly hearing God and he is asking me to always remember him and trust him and continue to seek him and know that he is with me even when I’m hearing crickets . 😂
Im so happy for you! Sometimes we do hear them crickets🦗🦗, but keep pushing for Jesus! I know it ain't always easy, but it is simple. Follow Jesus with everything you've got!💪
Genesis 15:12 (it is only God who walked the path of promise, and we know that He keeps His promises) i was blessed to have an experience that directly reflected this section of scripture. thats what the Holy Spirit told me "It is God who keeps the promise"
I can’t believe this episode was about baptism because this Sabbath I’m getting baptised. Honestly while I’m very eager to be baptised I have been feeling very doubtful about whether He will be pleased with me. I guess now I understand I can please Him through Himself alone and so I guess that’s what I need to do, constantly submit my will so the He can live within me and He can be glorified and pleased with the choices I make which would be the choices He has made for my life.

God has put on my heart to Go to Oregon for school next year, and giving conformation for it through his word and all. Plz pray that I can and that I do not let my parents & other ppl knock me off. He wants me to trust him that he will provide on the promises he said, but nothing looks like it.
This message brought to my mind what my pastor spoke on this past Sunday. He made a statement that God doesn't care about what (we think) is right or wrong, but wants TRUTH (John 4:23-24). Obviously not what we think is truth, but the truth that is from God's word. We all know that God's word is Christ. So if you want to know TRUTH, you gotta know JESUS. So the right thing that I can do is knowing Jesus. Thank you for the word, Brother Alex.
Same Lokelani, I always want an answer right away and I let my feelings influence what I think the answer is. I end up in this cycle of doubting whether or not I heard God.

Such a great message!! I put faith in Jesus in March through your podcast!! So much had changed and I am a new creation truly. Sanctification has been very very rapid because of humility and that’s all by His grace, but God is speaking to me to get baptized!!
I am a sinner, I’ve prayed to the lord asking for forgiveness along my journey. I’ve committed adultery & lusted numerous times and I’ve also turned away from sin but I felt DIRTY! I know he loves me and I love him…but how can one man love someone who makes mistakes more than often 😢

Amen: God is asking me to make the right choice about relationships, even if it means losing some. Some that are personal, and some that create income for me. It's hard, but the more I trust, the more I see the rightness in His request of me.

The way you make all your messages gospel centered is so needed. With the prosperity gospel out here leading ppl astray we need more content like this. Can I ask, are you Baptist? I've been getting into theology like the 5 points of Calvanism and what it truly means to be reformed. The differences between the different denominations. What makes me as a reformed Baptist different from a Presbyterian or Lutheran. Do you think someone can be baptized as a baby? Or only when they come to a full understanding of what the act means? If you don't get a chance to answer I understand.youve been just as important to my walk as John Piper,John MacArthur, RC Sproul, and Voddie Boccham. I also wouldn't know the difference between these men and prosperity gospel without the gospel centered messages of my Preacher and Bible study groups conversations I wouldn't of got to my church without the knowledge I learned here first so thanks guys. We are reformed Baptist. In scripture a baptism means immersion. But the Baptist have a tradition of dedicating their children to the Lord. Which for most people comes from the same heart of the Presbyterian baby baptism. Either way the child has to be baptized into Christ when they are old enough to understand the gospel and trust in Jesus.
