I really hope that they don't make people go through the process of applying through the Disability Tax Credit, when someone is already deemed disabled through their own provincial disability program, ie. O.D.S.P. 1 of my doctors is retiring in 2 months, and another passed away which required me to be on a year long wait list to replace her and it was a 1 time appt. I might not even has access to someone that knows me to fill out the forms in a timely manner, if that is necessary. Why do they have to make things so difficult. Thank you for working on this.

Why do we only have 500$ dollars for shelter, especially when it’s not under $1000 or more for rent ????

My doctor said it's a very very high bar, for an ODSP client to be approved for this new benefit. Very few will be approved

Wow thats the most real sort of answer ive heard come out of her mouth. Like, I'll admit if their intent is to fix the DTC process AS WELL as use it for the canada disability benefit, I would be for that.... but will they actually and are they not just wasting money paying people to support the process which leaves less again for the disability community.

Mike you cant do it all alone you must enlist your fellow colleagues in the block, NDP and conservatives to pressure the Liberal government to bring forth an immediately benefit that will lift us out of poverty

Imagine a Canada where the "Recall & Initiative" process exists, MP's would actually be accountable to their quality of representation, at the very least by their direct constituents.

It is discrimination to discriminate between the same class of people with disabilities and this discrimination has to go to court to court of appeal, things must be solved only in court .

The only answer I get is that the government will not increase any inflation at any time soon.

Yeah I'm a disabled masters student who could have really used this money now. I'm having to instead live off of my tax return and things like the trillium benefit to hold me over until I am done school at the end of this year...
