The difference is the durability. You can just sit these down on an objective and get unrendable +1 save/ward and no wizards or daemons can approach you without worrying about being deleted. You’ll want to send elite stuff to hit them, but they can deal damage and outright delete models (>50% chance of deleting a varanguard), so you’ll want to bog them down with chaff, but they will always control an objective. Imo, it’s just so much more dangerous. Super durability, no “good” way to deal with them and they double damage against a huge swath of units. All while offering that same level of support the Ven Denst give you…
