Calm Espresso Routine | La Marzocco Linea Mini

We’re taking it easy this time. Take a break. Enjoy this (hopefully) calming espresso workflow with the La Marzocco Linea Mini and my good old trusty Eureka Mignon Silenzio, which is still doing good job but probably won’t be here for too long. I didn’t hit the numbers this time, but also didn’t want to waste this really good coffee for a reshoot. So please, be kind!
I find that with my current temperature setting this particular coffee tastes really nice with the following recipe:
Dose: 18 grams
Brew time: 35 seconds
Brew weight: ~36 grams
Temperature : 91°C
Brew pressure : 9 bar
About the coffee :
Roast: Light-Medium
Origin: Ethiopia
Region: Guji, Oromia
Station: Adola
Varietal: Heirloom
Growing altitude: 2100 Meters
Process: Natural
Flavour profile: Super juicy and apricot sweet, with notes of plums and lychee

Hi Nico. It definitely is enough for the Linea, or any other highend machine. I disagree with whoever said that a Mignon isn’t Linea worthy. It maybe isn’t my personal choice for an endgame grinder, but it’s a great grinder and you’ll be happy with it. Maybe get the Silenzio first and figure out if you prefer hopper over single dosing.
