We would have to scout the whole of Australia to find this many fantastic male singers and they would probably have Welsh genes!! Keep singing Wales. Aussies love it.
I would love to hear these men sing songs that the Israeli orthodox sing , .im sure these voices are connected by ancestry to the choirs of The Jewish Temple , which was ruined by Rome . The Hebrew people were taken captive, many slaughtered but a remnant became slaves and were shipped to work the tin mines and copper mines of Britains coast , Wales has a language that is closest to Hebrew of all languages, No finer voices in the world than the Levite voices of men , both in Israel and Wales . THEY stir the soul deeply,Its a GOD THING , GOD BLESS THE TRUTH SEEKERS , ❤ FROM NZ❤
Quite Lovely!! I remember many years ago in the 1950s while in the army I was hitch hiking home from Brecon to Tredegar, as I plodded up Dowlais hill without a lift on a summer Sunday morning, I listened to the singing coming from a few chapels enroute up the long never ending hill. This lovely singing reminded me of it. Well Done Dowlias, for then and now.
My grandfather worked at the steelworks in Dowlais. My mother was born there not long after the 1st war. Sometime before the 2nd war the family moved to Pant where ny grandfather opened a shop. They somewhere aquired an ex-police dog called Bobby that the cat would drop sausages to from the frying pan on tbe stove. It'xs strange that this socialist cat remained anonymous, and that's a pity. He was the hero of tbe story. My mother left Pant at the age of 16 to go and train as a nurse in St Ormond's Children's Hospital. The war was on and she ended up staying through the Blitz. I listen to a choir from Dowlais and they're my heritage.
