on the crank bolt. once i used a "breaker bar" on the bolt. positioned it close to the ground. bumped the key (starter motor) to break free the bolt. it worked. scary as hell! but it worked. really great share!!! larry
Great video and appreciated your engineering side comments.I don't like the removal of the left radiator.I will probably do a Magnuson 2650 SC on my 2023 LT1.
All of these power adder kits make sacrifices going in. For Corvette it is common to remove one of the front brake vent tubes to make room for that charge pipe. For this kit you should be much more concerned with the crank pulley and finding a better solution than the mickey mouse BS that comes with this kit.
While forged internals and a blower cam are always nice supporting upgrades you can get pretty far on the stock LT1 with a power adder if you tune right and run E85.
While the kits are different for V6 and V8 applications the install is largely the same or very similar. But you will need to make sure you get the right kit for your engine.
