I pay 500 Baht for the privilege of getting to Phnom Penh by the worst bus journey yet, the road was full of pot holes and gravel all the way, 6 hours of bone shaken, I also had the worst food yet on my tour

Congrats on the 10K! My 2 day stay by the riverside there turned into 2 months! Loved it. That bar is like the Compleat Angler looking over the mighty Wensum 😄🍺🍺
Been on that trip in a mini bus terrible it was worst at night a funny thing happened we stopped for a piss next to one of them septic ponds and we pushed our mate in we didn't relize what it was he stunk made the trip worst..for him..well done on the vlog
Excellent vlog Sean. I felt I was back there my self. The river you were looking at is the tonie sap. Just before it joins the Mekong The tonie sap is an interesting river in the dry season it flows from Siam reap to PP in the wet season it flows back towards Siam reap I am sure you won’t have any problems finding a happy ending in PP.
Your vlog reminds me of my trip from sihanoukville to pnomh Penh in 2005. There was a boat from koh kong to sihanoukville which was very chill. The road from sihanoukville to pnomh pennh was a brutal assault to the ass and trying to find edible food was a challenge. We tried some roadside food along the way but the taste was questionable and I was wary of mystery meat for the remainder of my time there
The road is about 1000 times better than in 2005. For a start, it is concrete. That boat wasn't designed to go in the open water. I think it was $20. It was excellent. @@thedeadhorse

I'm in Koh Kong now and just went through all this bollocks but eventually found out there is a bus to Sihanoukville and the islands from the main bus station, I've been there before so went a tuk tuk driver took me to the same place you went I knew it was a bit of a scam, so $15 8,30 am daily the bus changes at Srae Ambel the down to Shitville. Times are hard for these people and are desperate for tourism to come back tbf

gday sean just wondering what do you personally take with you when entering all these different countries these days ,is it just passport thats it nowa days ?? or do you still need vaccine cert or proof of insurance ect? thailand/cambodia/indo ect
Speaking from experience if you do get the stomach bug get to a doctor asap It’s not the kind of bug that only lasts a day or two this one just keeps going.
