Im a long, long, looooong The Don user and I love my pack but... Its dying after 10 years of hard, everyday use. The HAWG could be a replacement, but I dont know if it is any close rubust, as The Don was? Any opinion on that? Many thanks!
I'm not familiar with The Don from Camelbak sorry Jacek, I don't think it is a model that is available in Australia. So I'm not going to be able to offer a good comparison, but I can say that the HAWG has been around for sometime and has been continually refined. It's made tough and I reckon durability is likely to be on par with The Don. ~ Ben
Great run through on the H.A.W.G. So How would this pack fair as a commuter bag to stash a set of work clothes and a lunch as well as the bike essentials?
I imagine this would work fine as a commuter bag for most, Obi Dave, provided it has the capacity required to fit your daily essentials. You may need to consider whether or not a laptop or tablet forms part of your work kit as they won't fit in a protected way in this bag, but clothes and lunch should be fine. ~ Ben
Hmmm, maybe, Ricardo, but I'm not quite sure how you would manage this. I can't confidently say whether or not the bag could handle a balance bike strapped to the back for long periods either. Sorry, I can't be of much help here. ~ Ben
