Bill must have felt like he hit the jackpot getting a chance to chat with Cameron Crowe. Bill knows what he personally likes music-wise, but Cameron is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to music and songwriters. I noticed that Bill wasn't drinking or smoking much during this interview. It was almost as if he wanted to keep his wits about him and not squander such a treasured opportunity to talk music with Cameron.

One of my fave directors. I come from India and we hardly had any movies who took the youth culture seriously. All of Crowe’s films made me feel seen. I got good grades so I related with Diane from Say Anything. I grew up listening 70s American music so Almost Famous plays a huge role in my life. And Jerry Maguire remains one of the few rom coms that ages really well. I owe a lot of good memories to Mr. Crowe

I must agree wholeheartedly with Bill on video games. Nothing could be a more colossal waste of time.

It’s ok to have moments in life that are for just selfish enjoyment. As long as you don’t spend all of your time key word is moments.
