Go behind the scenes of Cam Wurf's final training day as he swims, rides and runs the course as he finalises his preparations for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
Finished in 11th position in 8 hours flat, 20 minutes behind the overall winner. He was basically tied with the winner at the end of the cycling leg and saw 10 guys pass him in the run! That must have been painful.
Maybe cam could tell all the other iron men and women that us locals would appreciate if they could stop at the stop signs and not pedal through so they don’t have to unclip from pedals or quit squirting water at us because we want them to ride in a straight line not 4 wide. Respect is earned into us locals who don’t really get anything out of Iron Man being here unless you own a big corporation this is really just a pain in the ass in our little town… show some respect…
@@endurodadclint5377 I did for years…. Didn’t work out this year sadly, but the race as usual was a giant trash pick up & pain in the ass for us locals. Ironman is only welcomed by the big corporations….
