Never realised just HOW much Out Ta Get Me was based around this song. Hearing this tune with Izzy and Slash's tone just nails it. Also... Izzy is god. That is all.

izzy finally got really into it towards the end when his mic was finally loud enough and you could really hear him - it was the best part. i love this cause this is one of the earliest covers they did together. check out the 86 shows. absolutely one of the best performances - watching them do that song. they were all going crazy, especially izzy and slash. it was the most i think i ever saw izzy run all over the stage. granted it was the tiniest stage i've ever seen, but he was covering every inch of it he could. i love they finally put out jjf on the box set. two versions and they are both phenomenal.

my absolute favorite cover of Guns N Roses is Jumpin' Jack Flash. I wonder if this is the first time Duff, Izzy, and Slash played this together since 1986? Maybe 1987? The Roxy or Music Machine maybe? It is the best performance of it. I don't think I have ever seen Izzy get so wild as he did during JJF at that Roxy show. I love their acoustic and electric covers of it. I could listen to them over and over. Axl used to say during the performances, 'Slash was drowned, washed up left for dead. Izzy was crowned with a spike right through his vein.' In another performance of it, he added Duff and Steven to the song as well. I just always felt like the song suited them so well. So glad they finally put those tracks out. This would have been perfect without the harmonica. sorry - but it takes away from the song! my all-time fave rolling stones song. the harmonica takes away from it! i mean, you have izzy, duff and slash on stage!!!!!! i want to hear their voices and their strings!!!!!!!!!! and sorum's drums!!!!!!

If I could lock the 5 original GNR guys in a room together, I’d fucking DIE for it. 😫 They NEED an original lineup reunion tour SOON. While they’re all still alive and before they get too old. They could do a successful tour on Appetite, Lies, and some of their old Hollywood Rose stuff alone. Throw in a few Illusion tunes in for good measure. Maybe even include Matt in the tour so he can do Illusion songs and Stevie can do the early stuff. Hey, I’m just a lifetime Guns fan hoping for a miracle. 🖤😍
You and me both frosty. But, Axl didn't want to ask Fortus or Ferrer to step aside and that is why you didn't get Izzy. They only wanted Izzy to come back and sing less than half of the songs and pay him less. I think if they had him come back and play all the songs, but paid him less he would have done it. I think if they had him come back and play less than half the songs, but they paid him equally, he would have done it too. But it's like, hey, I am willing to come back and do all the songs - if you aren't willing to let me then that's your problem - so I should get paid the same. I get that Axl wants to be loyal to Ferrer and Fortus. I can see the loyalty to Fortus a little bit more than Ferrer cause he has been there much longer. However, what about Izzy? I mean, I think he owes him some loyalty. Then one could say, well, Izzy wasn't loyal when he quit. Well, the others eventually quit or got fired, so they all did. And, Izzy had every reason to quit back then cause Axl wasn't being good to him. So - I just feel like Axl should let that go. I think a one year reunion tour with Axl, Izzy, Slash, Duff, Steven, Matt, and Dizzy would have been fine. Then Ferrer and Fortus could have just come back after a year. Not a bad deal. I don't blame Izzy for not going back, but sure, I wish he had. Also - I don't know that Fortus would even leave the stage when Izzy was up there playing. When Izzy guested I think it was in 06, the other rhythm guitarist just stayed on stage playing the same stuff Izzy was playing. I thought it was really ... disrespectful. I mean, this is the guy who wrote this song - part of the lyrics and the music for it. Show some respect, man. So I don't think Fortus would even leave the stage. I am starting to think that they time Izzy went and was at soundcheck with them and then he got upset about something that it probably had to do with Fortus planning on being on the stage for all of the songs that Izzy would be on stage for. And I don't blame him for being like, then why the hell am I here? That might not have been the situation, but something upset him and I feel like that might have been it cause that is what happened the other times he played any songs that were not 14 years - of course I think that was the small show in 12 in Vegas. Then again, I think Steven was there that day he was going to go on with them. Maybe he heard that Steven was only going to be allowed to play a couple of songs and that made him mad. I love the guy. Don't get me wrong - I love Axl too.

in his book slash said that the only reason he went to that show was to score some oxysomething, some medicine that makes you high, that one of his "friend" in vegas could obtain indefinitly
This is Camp Freddy, an all-star cover band and it's from 2005. Axl has nothing to do with it. Axl was probably getting another face-lift while this was going on.
LA GUNS still played under the name with another singer Hollwood Rose did not keep giging There was a band that use to open for Guns n Roses called Road Crew,Slash & Steven where in that band opening for Guns n Roses.
fantastic. this is the best semi-reunion that GNR ever had since 1991. sorry axl, but this is at least 18 times better than all the nonsense crap that you been calling GNR since 1992
@irwin3036able izzy actually offered in the beginning stages of VR but they declined thought it would be too GnR. why run away from the best thing they ever did? they'll never even come close to matching it (fan expectation mostly) so they may as well just embrace it... that goes for the lot of them not just from this video.
Izzy's voice is great in this song. I didn't like the way the guy introduced them......he yelled "Slaaaaash!" and in another tone of voice "the four of them" what's that? He should have introduced all of them with their respective names. Apart from that, Izzy Stradlin was the one who sang the song, not just Slash. And what's Gina Gershon doing there? I didn't know she could sing.
the stupid harmonica ruined it. like i want to hear your stupid overpowering harmonica when i have izzy stradlin, duff mckagan, slash, and matt sorum on stage! get out! and it was slowing down the tempo too. messing it all up. man i loved seeing them together. that was gina gershon? i was wondering who that was, lol. who were the other people on stage?
oh! is that who that was. i was trying to figure out who else was on stage. i know camp freddy was a bunch of different people. who was on the harmonica? ugh. it ruined the song. i don't want to hear an overpowering harmonica when i have the best string duo to come out of the 80's playing with matt sorum on stage. get out!
