CAMP LAZLO SERIES FINALE ALTERNATE ENDING HEFFER WOLFE ROCKO’S MODERN LIFE CAMEO

Fun fact: for those who don't know, this was SUPPOSED to be the ACTUAL ending to Camp Lazlo. But, due to Rocko's Modern Life being a Nickelodeon show and Camp Lazlo a Cartoon Network show, that didn't happen. They simply just changed Heffer to an old, pink cow. Okay, FINE...old, pink steer.

Fun fact: Joe Murray didn't care about continuity, he made this ending just because he thought it would be a neat twist, even if it didn't make sense.

The funny thing is, Tom Kenny (aka the voice of both Heffer and Scoutmaster Lumpus) kinda suggested the crossover and Joe Murray (the creator of Camp Lazlo and Rocko's Modern Life) decided to go with it.

If Camp Lazlo was a Nicktoon series, this scene would've been real

It’s honestly really cool to see Heffer, the silly comic relief character, holding down a respectable job a few years later.

You know, the original scene is a tad bit more disturbing. Because its clearly Heffer, its just that he's hairless. Meaning in addition to taking all his clothes and locking him away in a closet for an entire summer, Lumpus also shaved him completely clean. Like, this was no ordinary identify theft. He took his time with it, enjoyed it. The guy really WAS a mad man all along.

Rocko: Wait a minute, Heff, you worked as a camp scoutmaster at a summer Camp Kidney? Heffer: Well, I guess it’s a way to earn money for life savings.

I spent my entire life not realizing how similar these two shows were... My God.

That's great! I would love to see a one-hour crossover episode between Rocko's modern life and Camp Lazlo.

The animation for Heffer blends surprisingly well with the background.

I love how the show's creator was completely aware of the flashback to Lumpus hiring Slinkman decades ago and just didn't care about the continuity conflict because he really wanted to make this ending. Mad respect.

It's hard to imagine how Heffer explained the entire story to Rocko when he returned home.

I just found out that this alternate ending is legit. The only reason Heffer wasn't in the final cut was because he's property of Nickelodeon

It was very disturbing ending.

It's nice to see Heifer actually doing something with his life.

Throw It In: According to this (under Scoutmaster Lumpus), the entire ending of "Lumpus' Last Stand" *(where Lumpus is revealed to be the fake scoutmaster, playing impostor to Heffer, who he locked up and is thrown into the insane asylum)* was thought up by Tom Kenny during a recording session. Joe Murray decided to use it because *”It tied up his character well."*

This is really well animated, very convincing, and they said Infinity War was the most ambitious crossover!

Scoutmaster Lumpus and Heffer Wolfe were both voiced by Tom Kenny and were both created by Joe Murray. I think this was better than the original version we got.

The animation on heffer is a little "Shifty and slidy".

Omg, Camp Lazlo and Rocko's Modern Life are in the same universe? Mind totally blown, because I never saw the finale! :O

This is actually really well done. The first time I saw this, I actually thought that this was the real ending.

I love how the facial expressions fit Heffer's character extremely well

I’m speculating that at the start of the fifth season, Heffer applied for the Scoutmaster job, considering his background as a scout. But Lumpus, not wanting give up his job as Scoutmaster, locked him in the closet. So Lumpus pretended that he wasn’t replaced, but when he tried to the freedom from laundry thing, Heffer broke out and went to the police.

Watching this scene alone without context leaves a lot of questions about what was going on at camp this summer

What a crossover

Imagine if this happened with Vicky in fairly odd parents in a real final episode. Where the real babysitter comes in and exposes Vicky as an imposter and is no expert on babysitting but just tormenting kids so that the parents would think that there kids look horrible and they would hire Vicky more often. Then when she is exposed she is fired by every parent that hired her and she gets sent to either prison or sent to a funny farm for fraud and tormenting children. Heck even when she is sent to either imagine that Mr. Turner would have the same reaction that Lazlo has when Scout Master Lumpus was sent to a funny farm, then that just show that he has no idea what really went down.

This was one of my childhood shows, but I haven't missed it. 😎

Heffer finally found a suitable job before Scoutmaster Lumpus stole it from him. At least his folks don't have to keep badgering him over not having one. How's mom and dad doing nowadays, Hef?

I know the character in the finale was just a redesigned version of Heffer. But the way I see it, he could still BE that version. But the best explanation the show can give is have him reveal he barely ate anything and looked disheveled due to being in a closet a whole season

The real Scoutmaster of Camp Kidney (who is a shaved and elderly version of Heffer from Rocko's Modern Life) is a very forced and random character who literary only appears in the last minute of the episode.

I remember this episode, obviously you’ve edited Heffer and all, which looks amazing by the way, but imagine how much more fun Heffer would have made camp kidney for everyone if he was not locked up for the whole summer

I didn’t expect this show to end like this, but man I missed this so much.

If this scene is real than this could be the biggest plot twist in all of non-disney animated television! Now I'm dying for a brand new season of this show!

Lumpus Deserves it for stealing heffer's Job as a scoutmaster

As funny as it is, this ending heavily contradicts everything we've been shown about Lumpus's past across the series, as he was consistently depicted as a former Bean Scout who ascended to becoming Scout Master and has been running Camp Kidney for some two decades, not just for one summer as said here. Considering everything, it would make all the sense in the world that the Heffer-lookalike framed him.

Well the creator of this show and Rocko wanted to put Heffer but due to Nickelodeon owning Rocko’s Modern Life he decided to put a normal cow in this. I think this does fit in the Universe of Rocko and Camp Lazlo

So this is where Heffer went after Static Cling.

What a twist... And I never know that Camp Lazlo and Rocko's Modern Life was created by the same person.

Camp Lazlo was one of my childhood shows that I had fuzzy memories with. Seeing this one made me believe it was real because again I had fuzzy memories with and I thought I originally saw actual Heffer back then.

It's hard to believe that Camp Lazlo was created by the same creator who created Rocko's Modern Life.

Funny enough, Carlos Alazraqui voices Rocko. Just imagine the shared universe.

That is some damn good editing, I actually thought this was real until I saw the original ending.

What’s crazy is that five years prior Lumpus hired Slinkman, so how long has he been pulling this charade.

To this day I still remember this more than anything about the show. As average to slightly above as this series was at times it was still entertaining but this was next level wtf moment.

Jude Lizowski: "That's him officer! ( points at Chris McLean) Thats the bad dude who locked me in a basement for 4 seasons and stole my job as host! He fooled all of you! He's an impostor! a fake! and worse.. He is no host of Total Drama Island!" The Contestants: "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT????" Chris McLean: " Yeah.. SO?! (orderly approaches Chris with a Straitjacket) what are you doing?" Chris struggles as he’s put into the straitjacket. Chris McLean: "Get your hands off of me! I'll get you for this June!" Jude Lizowski: "Its JUDE Dude!" Chris McLean: ( as he is thrown in the back of the Asylum van and is driven away) " I'm a Genius You know! I'M A GENIUS! " Lindsay: "Bye Chris! Get some rest! what a happy ending!" Heather : "Lindsay we're standing in the middle of the town in our underwear , nobody won the million dollars and the man who we thought was our host just got hauled off as a deranged lunatic to a funny farm." Lindsay:"Yeah what a great show! WOOOOOOOO! I can't wait for next season!" Cameron: ( after everybody left) " Okay. I think it's just officially got to the-point where it can't get any weirder."
