A hike from Glenridding in the Lake District, up to Raise at 2897ft for a wild camp, some amazing views of Helvellyn, Catsy Cam, the Langdales etc and a refreshing cold dip under a waterfall the following morning. Enjoy!

When I was on Raise I kept going towards helvellyn for maybe 300 yards, sharp left and came down towards Green side mine/ hellvellyn YHA. The path overlooks the beck and I could see a fall, so I went off piste and precariously clambered down to the fall which had a deep pool.... lovely. Sometimes it just pays to explore.
