Our spring plans, like those of many, fell through due to the pandemic craze. So we had to wait for the snow to melt enough to get to more remote locations. We hitched up the ORV trailer, loaded up the fishing gear and kayaks, and escaped to a remote mountain lake for a few nights. We were also celebrating my wife's birthday. It was the perfect long weekend.
Unfortunately tourist season has arrived here in Montana, so we'll be hunkering down and avoiding the crowds for the next couple of months. We're fortunate to live in a rural area where crowds don't exist. Our next camping excursion probably won't happen until Labor Day or later.
