GoPro’s were the worst cameras I have ever owned. I had 2 7 blacks and both were completely unreliable. I now use a DJI Osmo Action and it’s been rock solid. First trip is always a nightmare, ours certainly was so I wouldn’t give up on the idea of using the van. Ours is a purpose built camper but it’s smaller than yours. It took us a year to work out how best to use it mind 😁👍 In the early days we made use of hotels to give us a break from the van but we no longer feel the need to do that now. Enjoyed your video and it brought back memories of our visit to Oz 👍
Good to hear you enjoyed the video, it was certainly a memorable trip for us, we've actually since sold the van to my son-in-law, so it's definitely b&b's & hotels for us from now on ... LOL (thanks for you comments, it's always great to here from people)
Hi Carl....Yes I agree that size van is a bit small...I don't know if you ever saw that camper I had.....it was a Toyota Regius ...same size as yours but it was a full camper conversion with built in fridge,2 burner cooker,on board pumped fresh water and waste water tanks, rock and roll bed and quite a lot of storage cupboards...pop up Reimo roof etc . However it was like you say not great for having to get up for the loo etc (which as you know happens more frequently the older you get :) ) A bigger one with a toilet would have been great but we had no room at home and couldn't afford one anyway...plus a bit big to drive into town etc on trips out from the camp site ....caravan better for that. At least you tried and now you know...looks like you got away with the Showaddywaddy tracks being only short ...YT can flag them as copyrighted if you are unlucky. Hi, actually we no longer have the Multivan, but that’s only because our work situation changed. When we had the van yes it was our daily driver and work vehicle and it was absolutely superb. Our daughter & son in law (who have two children) now have the van and it’s their daily/work vehicle and they love it too. They are a great, extremely practical vehicle. Thanks for watching.
nice trip, nice country. It will be ideal van for my family. Question: why didnt you flip front seats to make more room ? If you flip them 180 you can sit. cheers mate.
