What a video!!! Which never disappoints. [ only when you are not able to build a fire ]. We know it is a lot of work but it is one of the top 5 reason for watching your camping experience. I first picked your video because of Victoria - a woman’s view. She is everything that we want in our daughters: strong, supportive, knowledgeable, feminine, and beautiful inside and out. ( a keeper ). Abel - you are very entertaining - talking to us as if we were there with you sharing your experiences. I have to mention your artistic eye in videoing: birds, sunrises, sunsets, winter wonderlands, snow peaks, raindrops, fire, and far and away shots. ( thank-you. All the extra behind the scenes work does get noticed. ). I’ll see you on your next adventure - Godspeed.

I really enjoy your videos. I live in Western Canada. I have always enjoyed roughing it when i go camping. I am in my mid sixties now so i am a little slower at things then i used to be My little Dog Marshmallow loved to sleep in the tent and be outdoors. He died in the beginning of March, so camping this year will not be the same without him. 14 years we were together. Took a survival course when i was in my early twenties, including winter survival. Keep sharing those great videos. Love and God Bless.

I never went on a wild camp without a tarp. It gives you a working and relaxing area that's separate from your bedroom, while still being outdoors..

Camping in the rain is magical. I agree.

Awesome cold wet camp. Tarps are great over a tent inner. Fly is often optional. I think I would retreat into the tent, put on dry clothes and bag and heat up some dehyd on the stove. Any camp with someone as cheerful as Victoria would be awesome. A wire mesh heat spreader under the thin titanium pan might help stop the burning.

Been 8n some heavy rains camping to. Never botherd me much. Tent has held up great so far. Never had to get in my truck yet to get shelter. Back hurts on the ground though. Might try a hammock next.

Quick tip. Take a chain saw next time & make the Misses carry it ! You will be Victorious . PS you might get that Titanium frying pan over your head for Breakefast LOL

The way to make a fire like that last all night is to make it upside down. Create a big pile of logs and light a fire on top then it will go down like a candle as the night goes on. That said I don't know why you don't just bring an extra tarp with you to cover the fire and general area.
