Very cozy camp spot, have to say. But then again, every single inch of BC's terrain is cozy and epic to explore. Some really cool drone shots, specially the ones over the bridge. Cheers folks and happy exploring!
Did you guys notice Diesel's face in the rock formation @ 17:78? And of course he's the king of the bed and blankets:) When my pooch gets comfy before I get all settled I call it being prisoner of love:) Another great video you guys! Keep them coming.
Hey! Thanks for watching! This spot is located along hwy 28 towards Gold River. (hint: close to Upper Campbell Lake). We noticed when we got there, it looked like a spot that's occupied fairly often... Lots of garbage around, human waste... 😞. Not that we think you'd ever treat this spot like a trash can but of course when sharing camping spots we always have to promote the Leave No Trace rule 🙂 Cheers !
@@wayoftheroads Thank you! Yes so true. I think most backcountry spots are being ruined because people don’t follow simple rules. We do camping a lot and leave only footprints.
We got the tarp and poles at Canadian Tire. The suction cups are from Amazon but the 'suction' part didn't last very long, so wouldn't recommend those !
It's just a Woods tarp and some adjustable tent poles ! Bought a couple suction cups off Amazon to strap the tarp to the vehicle (but don't waste your money on those)
@@nicholaswilson7880 good question! Potentially find some better suction cups maybe. They worked great for a few outings and then they lost their stickiness. Or just use paracord and tie them down to other parts of the vehicle (roof rack, side view mirror etc.)
That's what I normally do but thanks for the heads-up on the suction cups. Guess there is really no way to preserve the stickiness over time esp the rain yall get in Vancouver Island. I love your content (new sub recently). I fell in love with Vancouver from the first season of Alone (haha). It is absolutely gorgeous and rugged...keep up the good work and enjoy God's Creation as He has made it just for us. Cheers from South Carolina (US).
