The morning after spending a night camping out in the national forest is a great time to be out and about. This is the Day 2 video from a solo camping trip, just me and the Dog Emma, out in the Wenatchee National Forest in early summer June 2021.
Emma and I got up and hit the gravel roads by 7:00 am to explore the national forest in the early morning sunlight. It was very peaceful and calm to be out driving by ourselves out through the forest. We saw very little signs of other people and mostly just saw trees, birds and even a big heard of Elk. After a little exploring down a few of the various spur roads we continued on towards Highway 410. Our initial route was thwarted by a large road washout, so we backtracked and found an alternate route back to the Highway.
Sad Note: This area was significantly impacted by the Schneider Springs Forest Fire later in the summer. This video is a kind of memorial for the condition and beauty of this area of the forest, before it was impacted by the late summer Forest Fore. I'm planning to visit this area again next summer to film and document the conditions after it was ravaged by the large forest fire this year.

Appreciate the insight on what kind of trailer I could pull through this area. I've been wanting to disperse camp near Rimrock, thanks for posting this video.

North of the Highway, you probably would want a trailer with good ground clearance and prepared for some rocky roads. Some of the areas south of Rimrock Lake are much more accessible.

Do you have coordinates of where you enter from a hwy? Or a camp site?
