Yep, we try to leave the sites cleaner than we found them every time, we’ve spent many hours over the years just picking up trash at campsites. I’ll tell you what, It’s a lot easier to clean up after yourself than clean up after others! Thanks for the comment 💯👍

Used to camp there as a kid and we would dam up that waterfall and swim all night. It is a beautiful place… thanks for cleaning it up…

Came here to get more familiar with the Cherokee NF and the bonus was watching you enjoy the outdoors with your son. You're making memories and teaching lessons that will stay with him for life. And good on you for cleaning up behind slob campers, another good lesson in life. Thoroughly enjoyed watching! Now back to getting ready for my Spring Smokies trip coming up soon in April.

Nice father and son video. I like Noah. Very respectful. Keep him that way as long as you can. They grow up too fast nowadays..

You and Noah had a couple great camp sites. Think I liked the creek one the best. That running water puts me to sleep. Great video.

Yeah we have a blast every time, I think if he grows up doing this stuff all the time, he'll always have a special place in his heart for the outdoors, no matter what he ends up doing in life, thanks for the comment 💯👍

I don’t ever want my kids to refer to me as “sir”.

Yes sir and yes ma'am are a sign of respect in the south. Those who are well-raised grow up speaking respectfully and politely in this way. I did, and I enjoy hearing it. I cringe when I hear kids today.

I'm sure you've got tons of snow up there in Canada, we are extremely lucky if we get any snow in the course of a winter down here in Georgia. Thanks for watching 💯👍

Hey guys, I'm new to the channel and love it! Great video as well. I'm in Eastern Tn and recently got into dispersed camping, so looking forward to some Cherokee National Forest adventures.

Looks like you guys had a great time 👍👍. You really found a beautiful place to camp. What kind of fish are where you were fishing?
@southernappalachianrecon
@southernappalachianrecon 5 лет назад
That spot was awesome, i found a few more spots past that one that were similar, we'll have to check them out soon. To tell you the truth, I have no idea what kinds of fish are in that lake, if I had to guess I'd say probably striped bass, crappie, small catfish around the deeper banks, possibly walleye, I'm not very good at fishing so ill take whatever bites lol
