You two are perfect together. She forgets her camera on a once in a lifetime trip and you forget your food on a once in a life time trip. Both important items lol. Seriously tho, you two are great together.
I'm addicted to your channel. I've been stuck inside bed ridden for a couple months due to medical reasons. So watching you guys help me connect with the outside again. Keep up the amazing adventures.
23 minutes! Positively brief. I've never watched a Lost Lakes episode that didn't require a multi-day commitment and extensive snacks. A new adventure for us all! (j/k... love your videos whether they're 10 hours or 10 minutes).
"and never go to school again"; I think it was about a year after final graduation before I could stand reading a book of any kind again. The big lake was happy to see you Erin, as we all were. Take care, be well. Thanks for taking us along on the adventure.
@@LostLakes I think opportunities are lost to teach a love of reading, when we (society/school/parents) don't allow/encourage kids to read what actually interests them. But, yeah, seven years of University tends to fry your brain for awhile.
Some excellent brew choices yet again. I’ve shared before that Blanche Du Chambly is my favourite, but the 99 is a great beer too. Glad to see Erin back in the vids. Thanks for sharing such a stunning location.
That Lynx sighting... so cool! The elusive animal that photographers want to see. Great trip again, glad to see you two out together - those are some of my favorite videos.
Awesome scenery, you do a great job capturing the beauty. I won't get the chance of seeing this area first hand so thanks for sharing a little with us.
Awesome and beautiful as always….mosquito shots reminded me of that morning wake up reminder when you are in mosquito territory…that rhythmic hummmmm u don’t realize is there until you leave. Or the rhythmic beating on your bug net!! Ahhh the good life….
The video is short but the content is wonderful, I like this camping life, fishing, lying in the hammock... very comfortable and leisurely. I prefer the pure beauty of nature.
Great to see Erin again. That lynx sighting was spectacular. Thanks for sharing the footage. The way wildlife sightings imprint themselves into our memory is just uncanny. They are spiritually/emotionally/ intellectually uplifting. Have a great summer!
Oh Erin all the best for your thesis and exam. I know all to well what you are going thru. Did something comparable. 3 years university in the evening while working full time. Hardest years of my live but changed the course of my live. Its the ultimate test for a couple. Brakes or stays thru any further hardship. Three thumbs up!
Yet another Funtastic trip - too many splendid photos - Thanks to both of you(one flaw - no Punk antics - just a small finger wiping off the trousers - Erin is Gorgeous;))
Great to see Erin back out! I know a busy life, work is interfering with my outdoor activities! Lucky for me, it is only for two more years! I am looking so forward to retirement. I live very near the ocean and will look forward to dropping my kayak, packraft or paddle board in it every day for a morning paddle when the time arrives! Thanks for sharing your night out! :) :)
Great to see you back out in nature Erin. The weather looked very nice, but the bugs were thinking of the same thing. Bug nets are our friends. Hope 8 weeks goes by quickly for you both. Be safe and well.
Spectacular videography...very enjoyable, thank you. Never seen a Lynx, but think I had one scream at me in Algonquin years ago. It's a sound you never forget-lol.
Ya Erin’s back. This was absolutely gorgeous scenery. Can totally understand why you love Lake Superior so much as it is stunning. You always capture such true nature. Never a disappointment. Wow so cool to see the lynx. Are you ditching Xander now that Erin is free. Just kidding I also enjoy your vids with him. Keep up the amazing work😘
beautiful trip. It's insane how amazing superior is. I am also in Ontario but its about at 10-11 drive for me, I may it when I can! I will have to film a trip up there as well sometime. Thanks for sharing
For sure, awesome, and the drone images were excellent, right, the elephant in the room, good to see Erin out, but I must say that was an interesting campsite and view of the lake, best!
Welcome back to Earth Erin. Trying to remember the first time I saw an Eagle and my wife and I were talking about it while your video was on, lol. Anyway, Superior never disappoints. Thanks for sharing.
It's nice to see the two of you back in the woods again. You have a certain "silly" dynamic when you're together. I love it. Good luck on your Master's, Erin. My ex went through much the same thing, working full time and completing her coursework and thesis. It was a rough few years. That was 30+ years ago, when computer technology was still in its infancy. I did data entry for her while she was writing. Good times...
Hello Erin, so good to see you...although I have seen you on past videos recently...here in Kentucky with steady temps of high 90's and 100 degrees I have been re-watching all of your winter videos...thanks for helping me be in a winter state of mind. Take care !
hi guys, great little trip, :0) Congratulations on your Masters Erin, well done. Enjoy summer, I was out on the weekend and the deer flies and mosquitoes have settled down some what, not completely, lol but its a start to the best time of year in Ontario , take care guys, Bob
Yes, we missed you too Erin but I think there was a video talked about you working on that degree, so mad respect and get that paper! Jon that drone footage at 12:51 was so beautiful. I felt like I saw the beauty of the landscape the way the eagles you showed later can see it. Especially that last shot and the frequencies of the waves. Anyhow, best to you both! Thanks for sharing.
We used to go x country skiing in T bay and one time, I saved a bunny being chased by a lynx. The lynx ran at the side of the trail for a while, then we turned a corner and saw a whole family out hunting. This time, they caught the bunny. This is pre camera times sadly but a fond memory of our time in the area.
Happy summer you two! Erin, congratulations on your Master’s completion!!! Never say never… a PHD isn’t that far off. 😂 Thank you for sharing such a stunning weekend and the joy you share in your adventures!
Much love to you both! What a beautiful trip! I can tell Jon is very happy when he gets to spend time with his Erin. Congratulations on your studies Erin! The last few weeks are always the most stressful so I'm glad you had the chance to get away and unwind. This trip does not disappoint! With the exception of the bugs, it was darn near perfect. Thank you for sharing the beautiful scenery of Lake Superior with us!
Nice that Erin could come with you, awesome to see you again Erin, ! another gorgeous area you folks are in, loved the drone footage such a beautiful place you two truly are blessed to live up that way and able to explore the area . All the best with your Masters degree Erin., would have been sweet to see the lynx I have never seen one in the wild , only black bear and moose . This was a wonderful video love the area . Ontario,

At least John isn't kissing tree branches calling them Erin in this one. :) Hope you smashed the finals at school Erin. Good seeing you two on the lakes again. No net fails either. WOOHOO! :)
Spectacular scenery! Love this area. Nice to see the two of you out having a great time. Good that you could get away for a brief trip. Surprising how little it takes to recharge when you have such a great place to canoe and camp.
Great to see Erin out on Lake Superior, had to be a great chance to decompress as she finishes out her program. Looking forward to seeing her get out and explore with you when she’s done.
Yay Erin is back, back again ! Awesome vid you guys ! We’ve fished the seam, it’s absolutely gorgeous ! Congrats on the upcoming grad, you worked hard gurl! Hope to see you around The Bay sometime :) need me an Amok ! Stay well! Suzanne
Oh man the banana hammock! 😂 Looks like you guys had an awesome adventure. You really make us want to get up to the northern shore of Superior, such beautiful country and beautiful water.
Nice enjoyable video, good to see Erin back. I can appreciate the time & effort towards her education. I spent 5 years of weekends & night classes to get a masters degree, all the while working full-time & having a patient wife. Just a thought, showing the date of the trip at beginning of video would be nice. Anyway, thanks for the great video.
