Hey Zee, thanks so much for the review. Those are some great ideas (with awesome flavor) to change up the game and something we'll definitely consider for expansions :)

I like your ideas zee a lot, it would be cool for a theme like this to be put in the system that's in fabled fruit.

Demo'd this at Gencon 2017 and bought it on the spot. Really liked it, perfect light filler type game. Also inexpensive which helped.

So glad I backed this on KS.

Really like the idea of the other types of mortals. And I'm glad I back the game. I found it to be a lot of fun

@Zee I hope Keymasters is sending you a copy of 2nd Edition and the Expansion. It seems to address almost every concern you listed as well as add variety to customizing setups

I’d like to see an expansion pack for this. Maybe with some new creatures, killer clown, possessed doll, poltergeist and zombie!?!? And some new victims too?

Zee I got to pick this up from Mattox on Trade Day I am glad you gave it an approval rating because I am really enjoying this game. It is the first game of this type that I have owned and I thought the mechanics were really sound. I have always been a big fan of the old black and white monster movies and thus why I probably enjoy it so much. I hope Mattox does some amazing expansions for it. :)

Hy, 2 player green and purple. Green is first on the clashometer. What happens if both reveal the blob ? I think greens ability goes first because green is on top of the clashometer. Lets say green chooses the invader for copying his strength of 4. Now the purple player can choose a creature. He takes the werewolf. So, the strength of the werwolf is higher (5) than the strength of the invader. Purple can capture first a mortal. Is that right ? Although green has the advantage of the clashometer, purple beats him by taking a higher numered creature. 1

Played this a bit last week, very positive experience. Firstly actually works nicely 2 player which was a bit of a surprise. Taught it to a group of 4 In 5 minutes and it was really really fun, the card reveals are surprisingly dramatic which is a great bonus. Top notch filler game, probably the best I ever played.

Anyone saying this is a rip off Eggs & Empires, I will say this is a better Casual game.

I just want to know what Zee's secret T-A-R-G-E-T message means.

I am sorry to be a bit negative about this game but it feels uninspiring. This game is to eggs and empires what pokemon monopoly is to.. well monopoly. At least pokemon monopoly still has monopoly in the title. Maybe the game should be called eggs and empires: spooky edition?

Personally I don't care for games where you could completely remove the theme and the game would not change. This could be pairing bottles of wine with different cheeses or kittens and mice or moonshiners and revenue officers or something and anything else. They just don't engage me at any more than a basic level and I find my mind wondering things like "what are we having for dinner? Do we have enough beverages? I've been kinda sweating, I wonder if I stink?" I also loose interest in weather I win or lose. You didn't beat anything, overcome anything, build anything, or find anything. "Hey! I collected the most points!" Big deal. Of course this world is made up of lots of different kinds of people who may enjoy this kind of game (I assume the developer does) it's just not for me.
