Hande didn't say anything wrong, say "görüşürüz"see you later, but this word is used among close friends, usually saying "hoşçakal"goodbye (bye) In English, the word bye is only an abbreviation, but in Turkish it corresponds to the word "hoşçakal" because in Turkish it is used more than the word (güle güle), but in the Turk language, there are two goodbye👋

I hate to see that no one teaches German phonetics. Everything makes so much sense when you know the sounds and the rules that come with them. Every vowel has a long and short version except for the [a] which sounds the same and there is the neutral schwa sound [ə] which is always short. Depending on the region you can pronounce the in 3 different ways - you don't have to roll it and it can become [a] at the end of the word or if you form the plural like "Kinder" ([a] is actually not the exact phone but I don't have the table here :). The "ich" and "ach" sounds are found in the English language as well. "ich" in "human" (the h is pronounced like the German "ich") and "ach" is basically the same sound that is produced if you put , , or in front of "human". Don't exaggerate it! Every vowel in German is a so called monophthong so it's one sound unlike in English where all vowels except for are diphthongs. You can build diphthongs, but there are only 3 possible combinations: , and . Unless you have these combinations the vowels are always pronounced seperately. Especially when you put words together like "Spieleentwickler" (game developer) which is typical for the German language. This is pronounced [ʃpi:le'ɛntvɪklɐ] but you take it apart and you have two smaller words: [ʃpi:l] (game) and [ɛntvɪklɐ] (developer). So the smaller parts get less and less intimidating. I digress... German is difficult, yes. But most people are afraid of the language for unnecessary reasons. Just learn the phonetics, then the basic word order and after that you just have to power through the case system which is difficult for Germans as well. But you know what? No one cares if you make case mistakes or use the wrong articles. Germans probably understand you anyway.

Of course there is a short and a long version for the vowel a - Kamm und kam - or did I understand you wrong? I also don't get how h in human sound anything near to "ich" and "ach".
@Nifuruc
@Nifuruc 3 месяца назад
@@cwnbn3226 Yes, you understood me wrong. I didn't want to use too many linguistics terms, but in this case I should be more precise. The German long and short minimal pairs are: [aː] - [a] [eː] - [ɛ] [iː] - [ɪ] [oː] - [ɔ] [uː] - [ʊ] [yː] - [ʏ] [ø:] - [œ] [ɛː] - [ɛ] And there is also the Schwa [ə], which is always short and the vocalized R [ɐ:], which is always long. I guess you see it now, do you? I may add that the Umlaut shares the same fate, but it's a bit more complicated because it's the same phone as the short . As for the second issue - You are correct since the phonems are not the same. ['ɪç] - [ˈhjumən] But from a teacher's standpoint it makes sense to compare these two words, because if you put the short in front of "human", [ˈɪhjumən] you get the same sound you want to hear from your students. It works well enough unless there is a smartass kid who points out the "Gleitlaut" which triggers the rather uncommon pronunciation. And the kid would be right of course :) edit: Btw, may I ask what your native language is?

But never heard that we talk fast. Hearing other languages i dont think we talk that fast in general( i mean their might be some who speak faster).

Well, as a Catalan and Spanish native speaker, in Catalan "me gusta" doesn't exist, we say "m'agrada" so there can't be a change in pronunciation with Spanish because it's not the same verb. And I'd say Catalan is linguistically closer to French than it is to Spanish and Portuguese, due to the fact that Catalan is an Occitano-Gallo-Romance language and French is a Gallo-romance language, whereas Spanish and Portuguese are Ibero-Romance languages. They're all similar because they all forked out of Latin, but not any closer than Italian is to Spanish for example. And I'm going to write down the sentences they said for anyone who may want to learn it, because some were not accurate since she tends to mix it with Spanish, so: Em dic... pronounced [am dik] Tinc vint-i-un anys... pronounced [ting vintiun añsh] Sóc de França... Pronounced [soc da fransa] And by the way I don’t mean to criticize Yeon Seul’s Catalan level since we can all make mistakes when we learn other languages, it’s great that she was interested to learn about it in the first place for visiting Barcelona! Locals really appreciate it!

Just a reminder since everyone keeps believing that the Anglo-Saxons exterminated the people.. Genetically they're not Germanic but Celtic! Linguistically the English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish are Germanic people! There were 200k Saxons during the time of "invasion" from between 500AD-900AD vs around 1m native Britons! Why does everyone keep believing that language shifting equals to population shifting? The language shifted quickly from common Brythonic to Anglo-Saxon/Olde English since the Anglo-Saxons intermarried with the natives from the beginning of the "invasion".. I still don't know why it's called an invasion since the "Anglo-Saxons" in history were the people who lived in England but they were actually mixed Briton-Anglo-Saxon and NOT PURE Anglo-Saxons! And also many people were Anglo-Saxon/Olde English-speaking and they were actually PURE-BLOODED Britons BUT they were also called the ANGLO-SAXONS!!! Linguistically the Irish, Welsh and Scottish are also Germanic but do you name them "Germanic people" since they're mostly now English/Germanic-speaking people? The English are genetically Celtic but linguistically Germanic! Just like North Africans who are genetically Berbers BUT linguistically Arabs! Also the Turkish people who are genetically native Anatolians BUT linguistically CENTRAL ASIAN TURKS! That’s totally not true, Portuguese no se fala como se escreve at all! English is the easiest language ever in every way, and then Dutch, which is almost as easy as English, and what makes a language easy is how memorable / pretty the words are and also how light and organized the aspect is, not if the words are written how they are pronounced or not! English and Norse have the easiest pronunciations ever, and then Dutch and Icelandic pronunciations which are almost as easy as English and Norse pronunciations!

If Yeon Seul wanted to learn German she might like the Bavarian dialect or Swiss German a bit better, the harsh edges are a little softer than standard German.

I think it is almost impossible to teach a whole sentence in German for a beginner. You can teach a word or two. If you want to teach a sentence, you must show who to read. Then, you join the words.

I highly recommend listening to all the Skáld songs, which are the best introduction to Icelandic and Norse and other Norse and Germanic languages, plus there is also a Skáld cover of the song Du Hast (Rammstein) which is real epic - I highly recommend learning the prettiest languages ever Icelandic / Norse / Dutch / Norwegian / Gothic / Faroese / Danish / Welsh etc, which are as gorgeous as English and way too pretty not to know!

Türkiye henüz yaygınlaşmadı yeteri kadar. Çoğu küresel kurumsal örgütte de hala Turkey. Bence Türkiye değil de Turkland yapılmalıydı. Daha kolay uyum sağlanırdı.
