Everyone likes steak, but not everyone can afford the super expensive cuts. In this video, I tried to turn the cheapest supermarket steak I could find into a gourmet meal!
The videos I used for research:

Recipe and steps:
Beef steak 1kg (I got mine from Metro for Rs 598/0.86kg)
Salt (to season steak)
Pineapple (1/3 of fresh pineapple for 250g of steak)
Kiwis (3 kiwis for 250g of steak)
Butter (2 tbsp while resting)
Sauce:
Butter (1 tbsp)
1/2 finely diced onion
2 or 3 crushed garlic cloves
Chicken stock (1/2 cup)
Soy sauce (1 1/2 tbsp)
Worcestershire sauce (2 tsp)
Heavy cream (2 to 3 tbsp)
Black pepper (1 tsp)
Fresh mint leaves (small handful)
Salt (to taste)
Chilli flakes (to taste)
Directions:
Steak:
1. Make sure your fillets are no more than an inch thick. If they're thicker than this then cut them through to make them thinner.
2. For the salt method, aggressively season your steak with salt and leave it in the fridge for at least 12 hours. You can go up to 3 days with this.
3. For the fruit method, blend your choice of fruit and cover the meat thoroughly. Let it marinade for ideally 1 hour and no more than an hour and a half.
4. Wash the fruit off the steak (NOT THE SALTED ONE) and cook on a grill or a pan for about 4 minutes till your desired temperature is reached. Fruit steak WILL NOT sear well on a pan and will release a lot of moisture so try and let it rest after salting it so the moisture is pulled out from the meat before cooking.
5. Let the meat rest and add some herb butter on top.
Sauce:
1. Add your butter to the pan and saute your onions and garlic till fragrant.
2. Add your stock and your sauces and your black pepper as well.
3. Crank the heat and reduce till you can scrape the bottom with a spoon easily.
4. Add in the accumulated juices from your resting steak.
5. Lower the heat and add in your cream. Mix well.
6. Season the sauce with salt (BE CAREFUL WITH SEASONING, AS THE STEAK IS ALSO SALTED)
7. Kill the heat and add in your minced mint leaves.
