Many thanks to Demolition Ranch for showing the XCR-M in this video. We'd like to just note a couple things. With a 12" barrel and a suppressor, the gas could have probably been turned down a bit more. Also, when shooting a suppressor on a short barrel, the flow through kind are preferred because so much of the gas is being burnt in the suppressor and you're going to get more gas back in your face. The 12" 6.5 barrel with the muzzle brake we sent works really well with very little recoil. We also sent them a 16" .308 barrel. What they didn't have time to show was how quick one can change calibers. The also didn't have time to show off the controls very much. Maybe in a later video? Anyway, we're super grateful for being including in this video.

The long range shooting with the spotter scope view was pretty cool this episode! Id like to see more guns tested out like that in the future!

In this episode we learn that the camera man is the brains of the operation and Matt is just a pretty face.

As an industrial mechanic, I've found that for 99% of mechanical issues, cleaning and re-lubing is the solution. It's the "turn it off and back on" of mechanical stuff.

I love that camera view on the long-range shots, watching the bullet arc in and the shockwave propagating through the air is just pleasing to my monkey brain.

Jenna is so chill on these episodes. Mad props to her.

Matt’s intros are never predictable

The camera angle shooting from the office is amazing you can track the bullet to the target and see the spin velocity that’s nuts do more of that

As always the intro is off the wall and funny as hell. Poor Jenna the Chaos Coordinator! She dragged along with Matt doing all the crazy guy stuff and now her wall is getting beat to death by ejected rifle casings.

Fun fact, the XCR actually beat the FN Scar in the trials but was disqualified at the end because they didn’t have a blank firing adapter for it

Hey Matt, I just wanted to let you know, that barrel is carbon forged not fiber, carbon forged can take a lot more heat and honestly looks better

This is part of why I switched my intermediate rifles to 6.5 Grendel. Doesn't give a shit about barrel length, shoots flatter and more accurately than 5.56, hits with similar power to .308, and is still capable at 500yds+

Take both to your range stretch em out and see how big a difference there is in drop at 3-800 yards

Looks like it would be good for a hiking hunt.

I have an XCR-M in 308. The cool thing that he didnt mention is that its multi-caliber. You can switch the barrel, bolt and gas system in less than 2 minutes. You can run .308, 6.5, .243, and .260 all with the same rifle as long as you have the kits. Also just switching the to shorter or longer length can be done as well. Its a great rifle highly recommended.

A grendel vs creedmore sbr comparison would be cool

Should paint some light plywood black to match that windowsill and fit up a guard on that wall the brass keeps hitting. Save you some future repairs. Office looks great, btw!

yo, matt should do a cqb course with a selection of guns (idk like 5 of his guns, that he would choose, based on what he thinks would do best in CQB) and see what gun he performs the best with. I think it would be fun video both to record and watch! :)

243 is better than 6.5 by a mile it’s a 6mm with a 308 shell behind it. Also you need to get a 22 250 it’s a 22 but it’s coming out the barrel at 4,200 FPS !

Vapor trails are so cool to see, camera catches it much better but usually if the weather is right and you stand behind the shooter you can catch em.

Glad to see you guys running a camera that records at least 1000fps! We're getting closer to seeing what the rounds actually do! Those 6.5s were still moving over 2 feet between frames.

A guy came into an indoor range with an SBR in 6.5 without a flash hider or suppressor and it was insane!!! The flash and the noise was just obnoxious. Everyone else in the bay had headaches 😮

The sbr is actually pretty cool. That’s a usable package for all around with a 6.5. SBR my choice

You need to try HUXWRX, formerly OSS, suppressors. They have no blowback and they don't foul up the internals, including magazines with residue. You will be very happy with these!!

You should look into testing how bulletproof alon is! Its clear metal that is 15* harder than glass scratch proof and blast resistant!
