Do the frame stiffening mod. Cut open the plate covering the end of the frame at the rear diff. Some say add 3 pieces of 1"x1" square tubing & stuff them in there. I however used aluminum 3/8" wall tubing.
I like your video, but you showed now proof of the hairline crack. I have been jumping all three of my 800's for many years. only the shock towers needed re-welding and gusseting. Cool video. I will post some of mine soon.
I really wanted a Can Am but the price and frame crack issue has me second guessing. I'm still riding a 2004 Prairie so I think it's time for an upgrade. I have one friend with an Outty 800 and one with the Renny 1000. The Outty is doing fine but the Renny has a cracked frame. Weird.Good video, looks like a lot of fun!
Nice work. Do you happen to know if this G2 frame crack issue is limited to the DPS models? I've not seen or heard of a crack that's not on a DPS model. Thank you.
