Nice! Thanks for sharing. I like the larger opening too. I was also looking at videos because my salesman said you can get the linq passenger seat with either the cargo box or the linq bed option but i dont always trust what salesmen say. Thanks for showing the angle that shows the seat clipped on with the cargo box. Thats exactly what i was looking for.
I have the tesseract. Go ahead and replace the latches before you get on the trail. They are riveted on with aluminum rivets which broke over 2 seasons.
Interesting. I’ve had mine for 2 years now and not had an issue with either box and that’s over a lot of VERY rough trails. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that my luck continues!
Great little video! I'm new to the ATV scene and just ordered a 2022 Outlander 650 XT. Should be receiving it sometime between Jan - Mar 22'. I'm thinking of what mods to do and what additions I'll need. What tires do you have on your black max in the video? They look like a really good gnarly tire. You use wheel spacers as well? Cheers!
Thanks! You’ll love that bike! The tires are SuperATV Intimidators. 26.5” on stock rims. No mods needed. Just got an 850 Max last week and put 28” on. Had to trim the fenders a bit but no spacers. I’m VERY happy with the intimidators and get tons of comments on them.
They’re SuperATV Intimidators. Just picked up a 2021 Outlander Max 850 this week and put 28” Intimidators on it. The 650 in the video has 26.5”. I’ll post a video soon with the new 850!
Sign up for their email notifications and then jump on it when it comes back in. They’ve been pretty good to deal with by email. I got my Tesseract’s from them as well as both sets of Intimidator tires.
Because of your video I bought a Tesseract box. Most expensive box out there but the best. Totally worth it. A lot of storage. Direct from Russia. I like the option of putting their fuel can (2.64 gallon) on the lid. But the price for the can is crazy. $245 plus $90 for the mounting bracket. There's got to be cheaper options?
That seems really high for the gas can. When I was looking at getting one it was about $90 for the can and $50 for the bracket here in Canada. Unless prices have gone up that much?! The other thing I considered that talked me out of the can was the added weight on the lid when open.
I watched this video yesterday and been everywhere online trying to find one of these. Cant buy one on their site. I don't know if they only sell through dealers but haven't found one yet. Where can a guy get one in the U.S.?
@@johnsoff-road what model is this?? I have a max xt-p 850 I am in the market for a cargo box and was ready to pull the trigger. luckily I seen this video!
This box will only fit 650’s and above with the full LinQ racks. Tesseract does have a smaller box almost identical to the Can-Am branded box that will for your 570 with the steel racks. Here’s a link: revco.ca/tesseract-80l-rear-cargo-box-for-can-am-outlander/
The Tesseract is from Revco.ca. Great price and free shipping in Canada. I received it within a day and I’m in Ontario as well. They have a gas can that mounts on top as well which will be my next addition!
Thanks for talkin us through the vid Hate it when people show but don’t explain! Paul 20.06 gmt Uk appy Xmas an New Year22 everyone Feliz Navidad everyone
This Tesseract company has some red flags though... 1. I cant even get the website to load.. I had to pull out my phone for it to work. 2. The Canam Outlander 450 XT DPS isnt even listed on their website.. but the 570 is which is pretty much the same thing (sloppy) and they dont list prices and require a dealer.. lame.. 4. Tried to contact them via website and it fails with "SMTP server errors"
I know when I purchased mine from Revco.ca it didn’t fully list all compatible machines but mine was compatible with all of the machines with the same body style. As far as the website goes, I may be wrong but it might have to do with the company being Russian based and where you’re trying to access the site from, given the current world events. Just a thought.
I actually got mine at Revco for that price. I didn’t realize at the time how much the Can-am boxes had gone up in price. Seeing the prices now, the Tesseract is a no-brainer. I actually just received my second one that I’ll be putting on my new Outlander when it arrives.
