Traded my wife’s 22 Ryker off for a 23 S2S. She loves it. The Ryker beat you to death out on the highway. Reminds me of riding in a field pickup across the cow pasture. The S2S rides like a dream.
Hahaha the 600 is worth $7500 at most, and that's the truth. You get $0 for your extras and never get original msrp. And who wants someone else's idea of how their bike should look? I want my own blank canvas. That's life.
The market seems fairly normal to me. One could argue this point for any type of bike, car, RV, or camper. People will always buy something with the advertisement in mind and not think of the reality. I know so many people that just had to have 900lb touring motorcycles but then were lucky to ride 1000 miles on local roads a year because life got in the way. I have another friend that is selling a $60k boat that he used maybe 4 times. It usually has nothing to do with the machine itself but the grim, meathook reality of life.
15k is wishing on a star, no way they get that for a 600. I recently purchased a 2021 F3-S with 2200 miles for 17k and it came with speakers and under glow lighting kit. No matter what you do to a 600, I wouldn’t do anything over 9k and that’s pushing it.
Maybe they were expecting something more out of it. My biggest problem with it all is if your not mechanically minded You will spend tons of money on maintenance cost It’s ridiculous on labor rates. I hate it but I do maintenance myself. Be prepared
They probably wouldn’t have sold a lot of them if they were told up front. How much parts ar and also the labor rates are. You have to stop half or more of the shell to work on them But with all that said I love my 900ace it’s my hot rod corvette I couldn’t afford. Be safe.

You hit the nail on the head, some of the bikes are way over priced and some of them are on point, 15.000, for a 600, that’s the price of a 900 sport, in the south
All dealers have different prices and options when it comes to bike purchasing, you may find it a little cheaper elsewhere but how farther out would you have to travel
@@c8pate744it would need to have 24 carat gold rims and seats made out of the skin of unblemished virgins. No basic 600 ryker will be 15k used. There just aint that many upgrades available.
I think a lot of people got over-hyped for one, purchase it, and got tired of it quickly. The dealer in PA where I bought mine at this past May is selling a new 22 Rally for $12,750 and a new 900 ACE for $9,750 with the current rebates. The only advantage to buying a used 900 for $10,000 would be to avoid the freight, set-up, and surcharge fees that could add $1,320.00. That $12K for a used 600 or 900 is too much.
I don’t know if Ryker riders feel the same but I got tired of my 650cc motorcycle rather quickly. When I jumped to a 1250cc, the love to ride came rushing back.
I just bought 2 days ago a 22 Ryker Sport, lots of upgrades, mtx sound, windscreen, hand guards and wind guards, led aftermarket eyebrow drl headlights, led running lights, 2 brothers exhaust, etc with under 300 miles for $8500 from small dealer.
This time of year folks do a lot of selling in all the extra curricular vehicles. Most dont have storage, also they dont want that insurance bill or payment. So this is common. Also Especially Spyder people. THey over price the HELL out of Spyders. My thing is this, why would i spend $18k to $20k+ on a used old high mileage Spyder when I can buy a new one? I mean come on. Now the issue with Ryker people is that they really think mods equate to high dollar return. They what to sell to people that have ZERO clue about the community and the cost of the mods. You know they not selling to fellow community people. THey selling to straight noobs. We know better. Only (3) of those Rykes had a good used price. All the others on some serious CRACK. Both Ryker and Spyder sellers. You get the right Dealer and the right time of year you can buy a BRAND new Spyder for $18k. LOL Its nuts.
I think people romanticized before purchase and once home didn’t realize cold weather, rain, and other variables, and regret their decisions. Just a thought. But people like me, I have ridden all my life and just don’t care .lol.remember too that accessories are non refundable and when you go to sell? Those extras are just appealing to help sell the bike
Motorcycle riding is in the blood. A lot of people bought them because they were doing what everybody else does. Also a lot of PPP loan purchases 🤣. Whatever the case is these people are trying to get their money back & then some. You never get what you put in.
Depends on how much they spent to get it. A 22 900 with a few add ons is almost 20 grand here in Texas. Inflation has made folks try and sell it higher to set the trend for future sales. They trying to cash out 😂.
2022 900 MSRP is $10,700 minus the $750 rebate offer $9950. So who with half a brain would pay $20,000? Or ask that much? Must be some stupid people down there.
$15k for a 600 is reaching he won't get that drop it to$13k and hope for the best! I have a 20 900 Ryker and through my writing I've noticed that people by the Riker and think it's a cruising bike and it's not so they sell it to buy the Spider which is a cruiser or vice versa they buy the Spider and it's a cruiser thinking it's a sport bike and it is not and you have to replace the push pins often or they're all rattle traps but no big deal love my 900 Ryker gonna maker faster in the near future! 😉
You may consider that they could be trying to pay off the balance on the bike if it was financed. I paid less than 25K for my 2021 spyder f3 limited new
I agree alot people who wasn't into motorcycles thought oh I can ride this bike Noooo clutch so I can ride this. Motorcycles regardless to what type it is... is not for everybody you have to be a serious bike rider not just because there is no clutch. Because if you're not used to writing you're gonna get tired of it real quick especially if you're not used to the season change then, I think people just jumped at an opportunity without thinking and bought these bikes And now they're selling and then some of the people are selling for financial reasons.
And the prices are over priced. 10,000 is a great price but what looks good might not be good down under. And like they are saying at these prices you may as well go New.
Ask yourself, why so many people are selling their Ryker so soon you must have lost the thrill it's not a classic. To me it would be smart to buy a new one to see if it's for you and do you upgrade over time rather than paying someone 8000 for their upgrades plus the asking price for their bike. Because all upgrades might not be you style
People bought during COVID for deals and all the money that was sent out. Money is gone and the inflation now and people can’t afford it. Not a good time to buy now either with interest rates rising.
Lmao at the 600s and the comments about those ridiculous prices! My Ryker definitely will never be for sale because I’ve kept it in the lab for two years to get all the mods done. I have everything that a Rally has and beyond more! Over $12k in mods and $11500 ttl paid in full with title in hand. But it’s mine and I’m keeping it unless somebody makes an offer of more than $17k🤷🏾♂️ but again it ain’t for sale because now it’s time to ride when the season returns!
I have a 2015 F3 with 45k miles. From what I heard ryker owners say they aren’t all that reliable, little storage, 2 up sucks and very expensive to maintain. My spyder only gets 30mpg, premium fuel, maintenance is a little high, most 2 wheelers hate it and it rides like an ATV on the street. I stilI love it and plan on running it into the ground
I added a three-piece luggage set with LED lights to my Ryker. I can stick a bag of groceries in each clamshell saddlebag and two in the cargo box, and that's usually all I need. There's also free space ahead of the cargo box when I have the backrest mounted instead of the passenger seat, and you'd be surprised by what I can carry there using a couple of ratchet straps.
There are a lot of issues with the YAW sensor. CanAm needs to address this issue, in curves the bike cuts the power and causes the bike to have a "wobble". My wife and I have a case open with CanAm that they have yet to do anything about. Her bike is a 2022 Rally Edition. CanAm has horrible customer service
Vanderhall...Vanderhall...Vanderhall... After having my Ryker Sport for only a few months this past summer, and after putting money into it with new exhaust, DUAL cold air intake, and a few other accessories (I used to be an Automotive Engineer and an ASE tech, so I do my own work) , I quickly decided that it really wasn't as enjoyable as I expected. After seeing a Vanderhall up close, I was immediately sold. Watch what happens....By the summer of 2024, especially in our Chicagoland area, all those upper age bracket Ryker clubs will be replaced with Vanderhall clubs when people find out how much you can do with a Vanderhall, and how many years you can comfortably drive it.
Reason I'm selling my Ryker 900 sport is the brakes just ain't up to the job. Numb. Wooden. Gotta stand on that pedal to make them work. Should be able to lock the wheels up before ABS kicks in. Never been anywhere near locking the wheels up. Shocking. Unsafe and, not fit for purpose. That's why mine is going
I'm looking to purchase a Spyder. I was looking for a used one but considering I'm seeing used Spyders running only a few thousand below a brand new unit I've stopped looking at used ones. I'm definitely buying new, especially since I'm able to find new units for a few thousand off retail.
It might be like when I bought my Rat Rod, it's fun and gets alot of attention, but it's a fair weather vehicle, probably don't want to take it out when it's raining or snowing and not practical for commuting to work.
My new at the time 22 900 Ace with a few add ons and a warranty ran me 20 grand here in San Antonio Texas. I bought it in April 2022. So that’s what they go for now. Now I’m hindsight I recommend anyone get em base and add on the aftermarket accessories it will save them a grip.
I can go up north about 80 miles and buy a 2020 ryker 900 for under 10k from a dealer. They have a lot of them. They are stock that just never sold. I could custom it the way I want and not have to deal with other people's crap.
When I was shopping for mine, I checked out a couple of those new old-stock Ryker's. The advertised prices looked really good. But after they added several thousand dollars for this, that and the other, I told them to stick 'em where the sun don't shine.
I sold mine three months after I got a Ryker because the fun did not outweigh the expense. in other words I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I am not a motorcycle rider and find riding a car much more comfortable not being in all the safety gear
@@c8pate744 the cost of up keep and what will break in the future and insurance. I was not enjoying it as much as I thought so I decided to sell it and save on future expenses. If I was a millionaire then I would keep it even if I drove it four times a year but not being a millionaire if I do not enjoy something as much as the expense then I cut ties with it By the way I paid cash for the bike otherwise I would have never bought it in the first place
My Ryker has been my daily driver since the day I bought it. I rarely take one of my cars, unless I have passengers or need to carry something that won't fit on the Ryker... I put 600 miles on it the first month I owned it, without taking any long trips.
If you’re selling your bike you’re not happy. Why? I wasn’t too happy with mine until I installed the steering damper. Now I love it. Maybe people aren’t happy with the ride? Can am should include some of these options standard?
I bought a Riker for 9,000 with 500 miles on it and gave it back to the dealer to get a Spyder F3 S. Now I am happy with the throttle response. The 900 was way too sluggish.
Apparently we have different standards; I'm perfectly happy with the throttle response from my Ryker 600. I'm usually the first one out of the hole at a traffic light, without really twisting the throttle. How much more response do I need?
@@troystallard6895 Well I am used to a turbo Busa. I had one for 3-4 years and Ill admit I am a bit spoiled. I don't need all that but I do like quick response. Thanks for your response
15k for a 600 they are crazy I was just at the dealer in Indianapolis and they have brand new 900 for 14000 they are going to have that bike for a while
Alot of these bikes owner got a bad deal from the dealer in the first place. I just purchased a brand new 2023 ryker 900 for 13,000 when another dealer was trying to charge me 21,000 for the same bike and a bunch of up-sale fees but i pushed that so called deal back and walked out the door. Id personally never buy a customized NOTHING cause its not MY idea and u right customization should be mostly brand add-ons cause then it would also covered under warranty automatically and of course if u customize bookoo $$$ just pay it off first. But in today's 🌎 folks just mite be running in to hard times hell every four years you got to reinvent yourself on a new job (money problems) from when first bought. I got mine for pleasure driving so it doesn't matter to me if mine sat just a lil. Customization is like a class ring it's just sentimental value
Yes definitely I’m selling my Can-Am Ryker 900 to get a F3 spider the bigger one and plus I am going to be moving to Phoenix Arizona probably going to purchase it down there than in New Jersey and in the meantime if my 900 does not sell it’s winter right now I still can hold onto it but I definitely want the spider the bigger one and enjoy a long distance comfortable ride👍🏽
I just bought a 2022 Ryker Rally with 41.2 miles on it for $11,000 out the door. It has the windshield, flip up rear passenger seat, and driver floor boards. A guy bought it for his wife, but she was still too afraid to ride without a cage and glass wrapped around her. Her loss, my gain.
Everybody trying to make a hell of a profit off of they trikes and they never going to get the kind of money they asking for, they better be knocking 4 or 5 grand off these bikes to get rid of them
Everything is high right now, matter fact go look up a use car right now with super high miles it’s going blow your mind what people and dealerships are wanting for them
We live in a free market... true... but what the hell with those prices man? $16,000 for a Ryker? Man, this sounds to me like money laundering... there is no other explanation for it! By the way, I've been trying to get a Spyder here in Spain and people is even crazier: $14,000 for a 2008 Spyder / $19,000 for a 2017 Spyder T "like new" (WITH 50K miles on it!!!) Stupidity knows no limit.
@@c8pate744 it’s the unnecessary price hikes since Covid and those ridiculous surcharges that goes to the company and when you are trying to sell it; it is not calculated in the resale value
go new and do you they all look out dated. who want these bike after they put all this hood trash on them they made of a lot of cheap plastic. once you add too the electrical they never be rite. they are not made to put all this crap on them like a car is. unless this guy know how to work on these bike i would not take his word on anything. wait for 2025.
