First of all, I'm not sure why but your Spyder is one of finest looking Spyders I've ever seen, something very familiar about it 😉😊😄 Second, awesome autumn colours up there, you're a couple weeks ahead of us. And finally, thank you so much for the shout out !. To be honest, the way I planned and completed the Iron Butt ride made it kind of easy to complete, especially on a Spyder. I planned an oval route so I could start from home, and finish at home. It was a Saturday, lighter traffic and no delays in any construction zones. The whole route was pretty much Interstate highways. The weather was perfect, and riding that distance on a Spyder is a big advantage. My previous record was 575 miles. This Iron Butt ride had taught me what a very long day of riding will be like. After I retire next year, I wiill begin planning for extensive travelling, some days will need to be very long days. I always enjoy your videos, especially your drone footage! Very beautiful and relaxing! My first riding season isn't over yet, but my highlight was my solo trip to Fredericton NB to visit my brother the first weekend in October. I did it over two days from La Prairie QC, about 425km per day, on the Trans Canada highway and the colors were simply spectacular. Yes, the Spyder RT is an amazing motorcycle to ride and travel! I hope to ride it until mid-November, weather permitting. Cheers!
Thanks Richard, If there is opportunity to add some drone footage to the videos I always go for it. That sounds like a great run to NB at this time of year. I took the Spyder in for its year end service today. It was 8 degrees when I left but I just bundled up, had my seat on, and the grip warmers and I was just fine. I am seeing 17 for this weekend so me might get out if comes to pass. Thanks for following along. 👍

Good to see that they fixed the 507. I was on it earlier this year (Bobcaygeon Bikefest), and hit the gravel road for a few kilometers. Not exactly the road surface that is conducive to my tires.

I only rode once after dark on my previous Spyder (F3). We have done some late afternoon / early evening rides but they can be a challenge for filming due to the angle of the sun. It is either blowing the camera away or very shadowy. We have been past your area a few times on our trips and I am planning a solo trip out to Western Canada next summer if all goes well. When we bough the bike I showed her the arm rests at the dealer and she felt she would rather rest her hand on the side grips. But you never know .... she may change her mind. Thanks for your comment.
