I can't believe that you're not Android compatible! Not good, not good at all. Please add soon! Even if I was ready to buy today, I would have to pass due to lack of Android compatibility. Luckily, I'll be ready in a year or two max, giving you guys ample time to fix this mistake.
They are a great machine had one for nearly three four years F3 The only problem I found and it's only me that finds the problem is that sixth gear is not high enough for cruising My opinion only I think it should have an extra gear for cruising above 100 To me it's still sounds too revving too much in six gear doing 100k to 110 perhaps space 5th and 6th gear out a little bit more
I'm not yet looking for 3 wheels.... but certainly looking at them for the future. Wife just bought a Ryker 900 and it's fun. This upgrade (once they add Android Auto) is one of two needed upgrades. The second is a full auto shift mode. Hardware is already there, just need some programming. I had a Honda CTX700 DCT and I've test ridden the GW DCT..... works great and it can be switched to semiautomatic mode if you prefer. Add that and my 1st trike will probably be an F3 (if I can bring myself to part with my K1600GTL). 👍
About time..very nice update ! Question, with the new addition of CarPlay...will the USB ports support higher charging for the iPhones & other phones (PD3.0?)..USB-A or USB-C?
Apple CarPlay only! SERIOUSLY??? That's not right! You either have BOTH options (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay) or none!! Very disappointed and disgusted!!!!
Been 4 months since I bought my 2024 that was supposed to have CarPlay. Still no sign of it. This is ridiculous. This video was posted NINE MONTHS AGO showing CarPlay working. How is it even possible that NINE MONTHS LATER you can't make it work or deliver it as promised?
The question is when does Can-Am actually intend on releasing Apple CarPlay on the 2024 models? They advertise it is available but when you purchase your vehicle you will quickly find it does not. On various customer forums customers are outraged for having paid for a feature that is not actually equipped. To make things worse the best answer Can-Am will give anyone is that it is to be released “soon” which has been the same answer since the release. Give your customers a straight answer and an actual date to expect what we’ve paid for. This is disrespectful to customers to whom you’ve sold a false bill of goods. Step up Can-Am. Take some responsibility and show some action. Do the right thing for your customers.
Welcome to 2018 when Apple car play became available on Goldwings followed by Android auto the following year. Not sure how he thinks this exclusive to BRP but I may have missed something he said. Add Android auto and keyless technology and it might warrant the price and that's a big might. I had a 2008 Syder and decided to check out the Syders earlier this year. I found BRP behind on technology. The 24 is a step in the right direction but still lacking. Come on BRP, time to catch up.
To all Android users, calm your horses and do the research! The reason Can Am does not have Android Auto is due to Android not giving certification. It’s not Can Am “choosing” CarPlay over Android Auto. They are working on it. It is possible to pair Android phone to the display in order to listen to music, make phone calls and use the voice assistant. The real bummer is that it cannot be retrofit to an older model!
You can use any Android to BT to the 2023 Sea to Sky, play music from the Phone, make calls etc and link to helmets. We do it with Samsung Note 20's and Sena 50 S units. We even play Audible books into the helmets from the phone. Now on our 2024 spyder, the screen doesnt work, BT doesnt work, WIFI doesnt work and the new screen BRP sent to replace the dead one, wont code to the bike. DONT buy a 2024 model... far too many reported issues, dead screens and bugs , not to mention ACP still isnt released in a working form. YES that is 8 months after this video. No there is no date yet for it to be released......
Why not incorporate the new Screens to the Ryker but in a smaller form or something? Its really outdated and could have used a facelift for all the money it is.
@@CanAmOnRoad but you've raised the prices on the ryker year over year with no changes anyways... soo.... as much as I love my ryker and the product, I don't buy that excuse.
Inflation, cost of raw materials, innovation, certifications, R&D...etc isn't free. Just because you don't believe the reasons, doesn't make them untrue. 👍
@@CanAmOnRoad the price creep has been hard the past few years on your products. I love the ryker, I want Can Am to succeed, but at this rate you'll price out a good segment of your customer base. Maybe more focus on sourcing and finding more efficient ways of doing things would help cut costs down for you guys. I know I've been pretty hard and critical on you guys, but it's out of a place of love I promise.
Unfortunately, at this time, it is not possible to use Android Auto on the 10.25"" display, but we're hoping to have a solution in the future. However, it is possible to pair an Android phone to the display via Bluetooth in order to listen to music, make phone calls and use the voice assistant.
@@CanAmOnRoad get this ACP: app working we paid big $$$ to purchase a 2024 unit over a 2023 because of your bull crap advertising and now you offer a measly 500 credit for parts or apirial ,you are a joke of the motorcycle industries
Just rented a 2021 Spyder to see if I want to upgrade to it from a Ryker 900 ACE - I’m super excited for Apple CarPlay and the change to shifting to reverse Two questions 1. Will CarPlay be coming to the older 2021/23 Spyders? 2. Is the cruise control staying on the right side?
I'm sure many will appreciate the new screen and its technology. I've just bought a new F3-S and would not want the new screen, if it were available. Moving too far away from true motorcycling. Becoming too much like a car. Good luck with it though.

What you mean to say it that you could offer the new screen as an upgrade but instead have decided to "limit" it to 2024 models to attempt to drive new vehicle sales.
