I love my Can-Am, but to be honest ill never buy another one. i got a 2017 outlander and it had the DPS recall. I spent 7-8 months not able to ride it. Can-Am would do nothing for the loss of riding time. Once they finally found a fix the way they implemented it (one repair at a time) the process was so slow. The way they handled the whole situation showed me what they really think of their customers. I'm a Polaris man now!
They dont care about u man. They build plains trains. And u name it. There not going to stop and do shit for u. Look at this guy. He just buys and buys and buys. No job??
Almost brand new and already putting loads of $$$ in it? This ride is for the professionals who get paid to ride. I'd love to rent one for a day though ! I'm in a different class- 2018 Honda Rubicon. Same HP as a top end riding lawnmower.
Thanks for the forecast! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (air carpet target dish off jeans toilet sweet piano spoil fruit essay). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Your the only person who ive ever heard speek about the tread pattern on the cryptids. Ever time I look at them I'm like why is the tread pattern backwards!! Haha
I just ordered a new 1000 max xt. do you think I should swithc out the drive belt before it leaves the show room? Some of what I am seeing and reading makes me concerned I may have made a mistake going with a can am instead of a polaris.
I definitely would like to see that tire swapping video you suggested. I flipped a couple dirt bike tires around just to get the full wear and tear out of them
I want SO badly to love Can Ams and I wish like hell I could push myself to buy one, but stuff like this is TOO unnecessary and happens TOO frequently. Step it up, Ham.
Casey Todd i purchased a rear bumper kit for my 2018 and BRP only sent the bumper, contacted my dealer and the mounting brackets plus hardware isn’t included, brought it back and got my money back. might trade in for a polaris
Get the polaris sportsman high lifter or the sportsman xp they have fantastic customer service and look at the videos on them the can am just looks good but so many videos of them being broken they seem to only have 1 purpose and thats mud the sportsman is better and they are the same thing just without all the other junk and cheaper than a can am
Guys i've owned polaris 850 xp one 2009 and a 2013 , i had issues with the 2013 from new that were never repaired by the dealer i since traded it for a Can am xtp 1000r and i am very pleased so far. I recommend you purchase the atv that you think works best for you , not what you see on videos where guys spend money on there quad just because... enjoy your riding.
Things rode hard break... But you should get endurance from a performance machine... Otherwise you get something pretty with stickers and a pamphlet of specs that don't mean anything when your machine is broken down.
Direction "V" shaped tires in Automotive are designed so the "V" takes snow, ice and water from center and forces it outwards to sides so it can exit tire. The backwards V in theory will "scoop" more mud but then has no were to get rid of it because tread is forcing it into middle. Backwards might work better for paddling in water.
When you get in the really sticky tire grabbing mud that visco diff is actually a godsend. I know for a fact I would of broken a few axleshafts without it.
Is there a video on the snorkel kit you have installed on your xmr? I have the syatv kit installed and am having a few issues with the pod popping loose and I like your removable hose clamps up top to get under that bezel.. I mocked mine up with black rtv for now and am seeing what I want to change before I glue it permanently. Thanks in advance!
@@PowerModzOfficial trying to figure out a way the bezel will come off if I stick to the way the syatv kit is I have a 45 under the plastic which makes it almost impossible to get the bezel off
he keeps calling it a bike..its a quad. This video has swayed me from ever considering a Can Am quad to own. As soon as I saw the sloppy play in the steering and the power steering with a mind of its own that was enough to drop Can Am off my list of quads to purchase.
Did you ever find out what cause the steering issue my 2018 renegade xmr has the play in it about a inch movement both ways before tires move it’s been in shop 3 times an they have no answer for me replace power steering unit an tie rod ball joints any info would be appreciated thanks
Did putting the rjwc exhaust help with the heat issues these things have? I’ve got a 2016 outlander xmr 1000 an you almost can’t ride it in the summer time because the heat from the exhaust will burn you an melt the plastics.
My friend has a xmr 1000 2020 and his problem with the steering is it shows dps low on his cluster but is it a sealed unit what do you think made that warning light come on??
Looking to buy a used atv.. Was thinking yamaha. RELIABILITY IS #1 for me. I noticed you are. In the Ottawa area. Any recommendations for used atv? Mostly for plowing and moving things around the property, with occasional trail use. Was considering all season tracks. Not planning on going swimming with it.
Sylvania mino.....Buy a Honda!! Get a rancher or foreman 4x4. I’ve had a Honda foreman for bout 9yrs and had no issues....none! Only thing I’ve done is changed the oil and put gas in it! Oh I did hav to replace the battery after like 7yrs....I use it to plow snow, hunting and trail riding...it has like 1500miles. Trust me they last forever!!!
Do you have the rjwc split duals, stacked duals, or single on the back? I just put on the full system with split duals on mine and kind of nervous about getting them both underwater. Next to the same machine with a stock exhaust at idle it seems like there is way less pressure coming out. Any thoughts or experiences with them submerged
Gotta say, we use full plastic skid plate. 8mm thick plastic with No holes like aluminium plates. Slides over everything and theres No sticks or stumps cathing the holes on the bottom.
2019 renegade xmr 1000... fucking beast .recommended putting a steering stabilizer from cecco.dont understand why the xmr doesn't come with the Rad kit only the snorkel
A friend of mine has a dps problem. It just says it and goes into limp mode. It doesn’t have any real problems with the steering but it says something is wrong. Pls help. It was ridden for less than a year and wasn’t even taken into mud. Has not had a wash since the purchase and still looks brand new Sooooo.
with your steering issue, i had new king quad and thought my power steering was acting up and jerking me off trial, turns out it was the outer end of cv font binding randomly
When you ride do those snorkels get in the way of your eye sight giving a tremendous blind spot? Because I was thinking of get a set of those snorkels.
I have a 2008 Outlander 400, 2010 Outlander 500 XTP, 2014 Renegade 500. Zero issues!! My Buddy just bought a 2017 Polaris Sportsman 850, he was telling me how it needs all electrical sealed with dielectric grease and the front diff housing replaced because they crack. With these new high performance engines, there are bound to be drive line weaknesses. These things are built as cheap as possible to get through warranty but still gain market share, that goes for all makes!!
I had the tie rod / pitman arm come loose on my 19 850 xmr. Have done a exhaust, fuel tuner and Dalton clutch kit. They are awesome machines but far from perfect.
I just got to 1700 miles on mine and the hadle bars have just started getting slack in them, but the most issue's is the belt get a clutch kit asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the gold 2019 xmr outty 1000r
@@blaynemacpherson8519 2011 Polaris 850 x2 LE on 28'' mudder inlaws with 5000+ MILES OF MOOSE HAULIN AND VERY DEEP RIVER CROSSING. I have run over the thickest willow patches with my Polaris my friend has an outlander it need a radiator after 10 min of real Alaska riding he is on rad #5 or 6 now and the littlest shit gets in and hole in rad. just shit design it feeds shit into the rad. I loaned my Polaris to a friend to build a trail it came back with bent radiator I could not figure out how he did it than i saw the trail he made he used spruce tree stumps with root attached as road base in muskeg every time u drive over it rolls stumps hes is a dumbass and the radiator has no holes. can am can only ride on trails that are mowed grass unless u bring lots of black pepper and jb weld
Mike Sidebottom Good to hear you are using it for some good. Haulin moose. Lol. I live in can am country. We don’t see a lot of others machines around here. We have tons of muskeg and mud. Some guys use their can ams like canoes. I like my can am I have not owned another atv. I have a feeling your friend is rough on machines and he got a lemon. Everyone has a preference in machines like they do in caliber of rifles. Moose hunters usually shoot the 300 win mag for moose or the 338 win mag. But then you get into the ultra mags which are just over kill. Depending on where you ride determines size of motor and brand. Saskatchewan Alberta 850-1000cc can am Manitoba 500-650 Honda polaris Kawasaki B.C. 500 cc Can am. You guessed it I’m Canadian. Lol. Is Alaska a Polaris state? Machine of choice up there? Like one you tuber says I’d rather be riding anything then nothing at all.
@@blaynemacpherson8519 I'm looking at new can am defender 6x6 . When i was a kid i loved BRP SKI-DOO than they started adverts showing light weight and i see sleds braking because there to lite than the next year they shave more lbs and just to ride in Alaska u have to add 20lbs of gusset plates or break in half and now when it hits -20f the gas stations are full for sleds on trailers that will not start BRP u have to heat the sled up to ride in winter ???. My friend is the slowest and ezest riding of the group his outlander just feeds every thing in to rad. For the 1 i loaned my machine 2 he is an ass 9 and could break anything. And up here we ride every thing the old honda cant be beat for long lasting but it beats u 2. for a cabin in the woods honda for long trail rides polaris thats me. OH and for over kill rifles there is no such thing in Alaska. I grew up with rem 700 .458wm and it is like a comfort blanket when a grizzly is talking some weird toughs trying 2 kill u for the moose u have just shot. But i do think ultramags are just gimmick and hydoshock the meat slower large slug work well and will not deflect on some twig. I like Canadians more than lower 48ers usa stuck up trash that come up here and make trails to no were for no real reason other than fuk shit up and leave bags of trash and shit every were. They shit in a bag than throw it any where and every were city-idiots shoot at me and scare moose away every year i have to put some ass9 in his place and they shit when some guy in camo and face paint pops out and yells thats not legal jackasss or stop shooting or i'll shot back jackass ive seen more fat city boys fall over running to there cars after shooting in my direction than i should. It seems people are getting stupider and even my old shooting range is now full of non backstop shooters getting recorded shooting rapid fire in there tactacool gear?? and sending bullets in the woods were kids ride there bikes (the back stop) is the trail head just dum people get shot all the time and i might be 1 some day with all the dum moving up here every year more dumb. I hope it is not this way in canada too. I might be a brp lover again soon i dont like there advets for all the plastic gimmickry and plastic doors for like more than 3000$ every acc they make is so over priced it is nuts and replacement parts are 2--3 times the price of a polaris parts but i do like there 6x6 polaris dropped the ball in work machines lately. So if brp can drop all the city boy acc like a removable makup box for glove box?? only city boys need makup and a sound system on they atv just dummmmmmmmmmmm . nice to talk to another skeg rider and can ams as canoe i would like to see this hope u and yours stay well sorry for rant and i cant write for sh#$
@@blaynemacpherson8519 I forgot to say polaris is good for hauling moose the 850 scares moose away. I just started hunting on late 80's 350 yamaha bigwheel better on gas and wont scare moose. it can haul moose my friend used 1 in th 90's before it was stolen and burnt that 850 with 28 mudder inlaws will pull I pulled my trailer with camp and moose a older 6x6 that broke with low hanging trailer with another moose on it and the polaris pulled all night on skeg it did melt some plastic near the exhaust but man she pulls
Perfectly said. I like and have had Honda's, but unfortunately Honda doesn't make anything aggressive enough for big creeks & heavy mud trails. With my Honda's I was constantly having to use the winch ... I've got a can am outlander 850 now and I'm probably be getting the Outlander x mr 1000r soon.
anyone know if can am fixed the loose steering issue on the new outlanders that he's talking about? I had an old Honda that the steering nut would come loose after a hard trail ride and id always have some play in the handlebars and I hated it.
I had three Outlander 650 Xt's....2007, 2010 and a 2011 XTP....problems with all three. Had two grizzlies and a Brute Force since 2012....not a single issue.
nothing wrong to improve it but stock air intake is high enough for most people lol, no reason to go beyond 2 feet deep. You are not supposed to try crossing a lake on an atv lol.
I had my CanAm ( Outlander 550 v twin for 3 years and the replaced the fuel pump 4 times and still didn't get it right. And they wouldn't give me another on to replace the Lemon they sold me. I ended up trading in for a Polaris, and I love it. Screw CanAm and there product they Don't stand behind.
I can tell how well you take care of your "bike" by how clean and organized your shop is....sorry, I can't blame canam for these issues...take care of your stuff and it will return the favor.
Jason L when you create the 32 hour day ill clean my shop. i guess i could clean and not edit vids....the issues with the bike are not limited to me...people who take better care of their bikes than me are having the same issue. feel free to stop in and help though:)
So cause the shop isn't spotless and that means canam can't be to blame for a poorly clutched machine, no front locker, out of phase drive shafts, terrible rear diffs, etc..... Wow
Love you and miss you And hope you and miss you 💖💗 day and get some food and get some sleep 😘 lol 💓 ok you have to go back on the girls and back to the girls are in the girls are going to you on the girls 💓💓
Kripits are not 30" there 28ish and not 9 wide either. Ffs junk. I payed 20.000. And another on a maverick 800 trail. And a 2016 dodge 52.000 so im broke
