Around the two'ish minute area something happened that is rare...I could imagine how scary that would be in real life. Something with the way you were looking back and forth and they were all crouched slithering back and forth and your back against the water. It felt genuinely creepy. Great content as always Sticky and Kudos for actually giving me the willies!
@@Marshy2020 You get your ambush up, run away in a straight line, then right as your ambush runs out you toggle Z turn on and turn around to face the utah
As a tip if you use the escape key to check your bleed instead of insert it doesn't reset your ambush. Though you are vulnerable while doing it as it takes longer but they don't know that ;)
You are perhaps the most skilled player in The Isle. Watching your fights back in the day made me a better player. On top of that, I developed some of my own tactics that I built up from the template of your fighting style for each dino. I am hoping to see you in Evrima and maybe, just maybe we might find ourselves in a fight. Cheers!
@@FreakyTORRI actually if you use escape instead of insert it doesnt cancel your ambush though it takes longer. (Also I know sticky used insert I'm just saying)
I actually got in this same situation in the SAME exact area yesterday on the Hellfire Isle server. Managed to live through it after I killed one of them they backed off.
I used to feel like i would be the dead utah in these situations, now i feel like i could’ve taken u down along with my pack as well. (Ngl the first sticky video i watched was how to take down an allo)
just a tip: when you press insert to go to your character screen you lose your ambush speed so press esc and go to character that way so you dont lose your ambush speed
I think during the middle they all just went mad and started biting the air, literally for no reason xD I mean, they clearly cant be baited out for a call, and they weren't anywhere near him so....? Why else would you do it?
I see utahs do this an awful lot, and I think the intent is to annoy the person into charging them. :P It works well on people who panic during a fight xD Especially if they're in a position like that with their tail to water or a cliff.
I've been an allo attacked by a Utah pack as well yet my fight was quite a bit shorter cause I was by myself like u but there was 14 raptors and I'm not a good pvp'er anyway so it was over in like was 1 and a half mins.
Lmao what animal can swivel around on the balls of their feet in a 360 can you and that’s just not true if u have a dog and watch it you’ll see them walk a bit to turn they don’t just turn around like they’re on a moving dinner platter
Although I am all for this 'you can keep fighting even with a body is down' but I hardly find it fair how a pack of 10 utahs can keep going after someone if almost all of them dies. Imho, there should be at least some form of limit to this to make it fair for both the hunter and the hunted, as well as to packs whose strength is within numbers. Maybe if more than half of your pack dies, you have to claim the bodies, otherwise the entire place is just a meaningless battlefield. All those bodies go to waste. Plus it IS an accomplishment to kill half of your enemy pack, and yet you are still sentenced to death because.... lax rules?
@@topiheimola69 Well, realism IS balance. Some animals evolved for solitary lives while others to be pack hunters. Some evolved to be ambush hunters, while others evolved to counter them. Some animal evolved to be pursue predators, some burrow, others fly. But even between the same type of animals there are natural differences which they evolved in order to survive alongside others. The Isle is doing a bad job in implementing that. But my problem is not about this detail. It is fairness towards other players. As a pack, you have greater numbers, more directions to attack from, more HP in general if you add them together and you have the advantage of team tactics. So if a lone player manages to overcome all of this and kills one of you, it is only fair to admit defeat and let them go. Otherwise, it becomes a slaughter, an unfair, one-sided fight that is only decided by numbers. And fighting only by numbers all the time is very boring. I mean, is getting a body not the point? So you can eat? That is the goal of the hunt. I mean, if we talk realism even in this case, then a body down rule is indeed realistic. Because once a pack member dies, hunters give up the fight because they realize the prey is far too dangerous to continue. They will not lose their numbers and lose important and vital hunters for the sake of taking down a prey that can just slaughter half their numbers. That means their pack gets weaker in the long run.
12:24 That's less of a mistake and more of in game physics. You're playing an animal with momentum, on a server without alt turn, against THE most mobile animal in game with one of the smallest hitboxes. I've been in death match servers, there's only one real way to shake a Utah on your allo's ass and that's diving into water so it also floats forward. You can't out Z walk it, you can't crouch around it, and hitbox exploits that favor you work on their own dime.
@@sixzero2733 that's great until the utah does the exact same by learning to avoid broken hitbox, which Sticky has taught his players to do. Not to mention: hitbox works when it wants.
last time i played a full adult sucho, i got attacked by a very big utha pack, of 13-15 uthas, but they attacked only one by one, and i killed half of them in the first 2-3 minutes ^^
Utah's are unbeatable in a pack of 4 or more if they are good the only thing about Utah that isn't good is health but when you have the best mobility in the game health doesn't matter, and in the recode its getting its pounce back, there will be nothing you can do against them.
But turning will be easier plus a carno and an allo can and a giga would need 0 effort in an alt turn server utahs sren't op they can die duper easilly by an allo a carno a giga or a mia
Ahh this was painful for me to watch I was screaming on the inside for him to alt turn as i spotted quiet a few times where he could have got a few of them pretty good I'm mostly an allo or utah player on the isle so I'm better at playing those two than anything else XD
Me an another friend were full adult allo an 4 Utah's attacked out of my view while i was sitting then they ran. Put me on fourth screen so i said yolo basically an killed 3 of them an died an thr last one killed my friend XD they were very bad utahs
They killed u for fun they wasnt hungry were plenty of bodies and an ava screaming its head off, get a group and get revenge on utahs 😉 tables will turn then
It's stupid how this server doesn't have a body down rules. The player(s) being hunted have little chance of winning due to numbers. Skill doesn't count on HG apparently. Just get you a group of noobs and go around killing people.
@@goldybays8654 No, on Hunting Grounds the only way that the fight ends is if 1 person of the hunted party dies. If your group is the one hunting, you can continue to hunt even if you lose multiple pack mates.
Well I'm only playing on official servers, never had a problem with being hunted by many players. Just watch out what you are doing. I killed 8 Allos, 9 Utahs ect as Giga. And even as Allo I killed more than 2 carnos, who attacked me. The body down rule is stupid and unrealistic. Never ever heard of a player having problems without the body down rule. (I've 600hours of playtime) You just have to be carefull.
And a group of noobs wouldn't be able to kill a thing. If these utahs Utahs where noobs, they could've been killed easily. You have to be patient and watch your steps, even though on a no-alt turn server it is way easier to kill someone by assriding.
