at least druid and priest have dual class cards together, so some of the would-be-priest cards are actually takeable! ofc half the duals are probably coming from druid but still
I really like the idea of you taking a crazy deck and trying to win once over trying to get to legend with X deck. only needing one win means that you can try out crazier strategies and not have to worry about winning multiple games against the current meta.
Hey rarran, you said you've never seen a player hard run toyrantus MY BROTHER IN CHRIST ITS IN THE DECK YOU MADE FOR TAUNT DRUID MR "regular legend player"
Could be a fun series actually with a twist With every loss you can change a card until you finally win but try to keep the theme. Example Shadow Priest
Hey man, this is gonna sound really stupid to some people, but I think you'll understand it. I found your channel when I was going through a really rough time. You helped me out a lot. People with your kind of energy, positivity, humor and strength as individuals tend to acquire all of it through challenging times. Everyone has struggles, and the people who work hard to achieve greatness tend to be the same people who had to overcome struggles within themselves early on. Anyway, all of that dribble aside, for all the work you've put in to make people smile, and for whatever it took to bring you to a position in life where you can bring happiness to people and choose to do so on a daily basis, I sincerely thank you.
When I first started playing Hearthstone back in classic, I drafted an arena deck I liked so much, I wrote down all the cards so I could try playing it in Standard too 🤦♂
Funny thing is that yes, you can draft way, way better decks than you could ever play in standard honestly not too infrequently. It's jut that the two card limit imposed means it can't be taken to the absurd.
Even though you were sick, you seemed to be having quite a bit of fun playing a bad deck without chat heckling you or spamming "missed lethal"! I liked the energy of this video, hope you get more opportunities to do these videos, without having chat's negativity distract you :)
@@_MSlimShady You're right. I guess you can only put the exponent in the denominator when it doesn't affect the numerator (i.e., when the numerator = 1).
This removes the number one strength of Arena, which is that you can have more than 2 of a card (more than one of a legendary). When I think of all of the old videos where Kripp had insane runs he usually had a ton of copies of the most busted cards in the format
Rarran you should do this again but with another streamer playing a standard deck. If it's too one sided maybe let the Arena player pick their deck after the other player has decided.
Just came back to Hearthstone and it really is worse then ever. The toxic aggro decks and combo decks are so boring, not a single thing have happened to the game for like three years. Back to Magic boys.
Hey Rarran, quick question: How are you diamond 3 in the first games of the video but then diamond 4 in the "real" first game at the end? It also shows that you're d3 at 3:59
He might have been d4 full stars on the first game, so one win put him into d3 one star. First lose takes him down to d3 zero stars, and the second one downgrades him to d4
Would be an interesting idea to do something similar, but after every loss you replace 2-3 cards, or you draft the first 15 cards and then try to finish the deck from there. Would be fun to see how the deck evolves over time.
Do you think Slagmaw would be playable if he had "Excess damage is dealt to the enemy hero"? That way when he finally wakes up he actually has an impact. Out of all the keywords or text changes I thought that would be the most fitting for him.
