@@Dutch_df He added back an animation that was cut and gave it a 30 second healing effect. He mentions this at the start of the video and in the description.
@@glorytoukraine5524 Or due to his 4k health and 0 poise, he's already dead. But mostly it's his opponent. They really have to patch him to have triple health and poise. It's so annoying that I have to lug around unupgraded weapons to fight him with so he doesn't die too fast.
This is what makes Maliketh mechanically the most broken boss in the game. Destined Death is the most op affect fromsoft ha ever made, puts the game into extra easy mode for you.
@@TheStraightestWhitest I never understand why people say he doesn't have enough health. Are there weapons doing more damage or are you near to the 800 damage I was doing with the greatsword on my last playthrough?
@@TheStraightestWhitest Maliketh small health pool is meant to make up for his absurd DPS potential and the fact that he jumps around so much. He's effectively a glass cannon of a boss lol
@@danielealessi7830 unfortunately he is godrick. He lost to malenia with malenias stats when she had his. (I'm aware he lost in the phase one fight but he lost in phase 2) he is destined to lose.
It's so cool how he teleported out of godrick flame. Radagon doesn't know when to heal. He healed full health against placidusax but against godskin noble and mohg he forgot he had the ability.
Yeah, it was a very epic battle. Given how more or less evenly-matched they were as far as damage output and general combat abilities, the fight could've easily gone either way.
he missed like most of the attack size and took the bit of it only not to mention that the meteor itself is nerfed now as a tracking, hitbox and damage (no it is not fixed)
Phase one malenia is the kindest boss ive ever met on a game just walking around waiting for the opponent to attack her and then get a little agressive but then give the opponent time to breathe again and muster their stamina for next combo. Sometimes she does not even show aggression, but simply dodge backwards and then slowly walk towards you. Giving you time to buff and experiment eith different spells. Truly the kindest boss ever. I hope every game has a tutoriol boss just like her
Holy (lol) bejeesus, Maliketh utterly finessed him! It was like he was goofing around as the Clergyman, and then got offended by Radagon constantly dodging his attacks, causing him to just completely counter every single one of Radagon's moves and obliterate him effortlessly.
I would argue if Prime Radagon is Prime Marika then he would be even stronger lore wise. I have no idea have Rennala managed to draw with Marika army. That’s such an insane feat. Too bad we never get to see Rennala in her prime. We only fought Ranni magic and Ranni wasn’t even controlled it, just pre installed magic. I would have assume a lot of magic grandmasters that died or left the plane for accession like the one left you the cosmic spell Kamehameha were responsible for the stalemate in battle.
@ercstomatosalad1086 The fact Elden Stars exists brings the fight down from what was a neat, yet somewhat sluggish, spectacle with a divine hit sfx, to a fat glowing slug who still has that divine hit sfx with an objectively unavoidable attack, unless you manage to glitch it into the ground. Otherwise, you're too far? It'll just speed up to get you. Too sharp of turns? It'll pull a Nioh great centipede, and turn in on itself to get you. Just because it doesn't do much damage doesn't make it a good design choice, if every attack is able to be avoided in some way, then why is there an attack that actively goes against that principle?
@@theorangeman9147si you're complaining about Elden Beast cheating with his Elden stars but nobody's complaining about malenia cheating alot of the games mechanic?
Well, it just so happens that developers never give characters their power from the story. Radagon is generally made so weak only because in the future we will have to fight space fish, and plus, it literally falls to pieces. I literally forgot all the spells 💀
@@drozirdimontun9870 i do Wonder how the two would compare lore wise. I mean Radagon Is a literal God so unlike Godfrey he's Just immune to most things, so he wins automatically, but ignoring that, Just trought sheer combat prowess, i Wonder Who would Win.
@@ALLMINDmercenarysupportsystem after the crucifix ? yes as it is a punishment for Marika before ? no he is a creation made by the greater will from Marika
@kaiserdetectivegolden2735 Regardless of which theory about Radagon and Marika's relationship you choose to believe, it is undeniable that they share the same body, and therefore are the same person.
Man seeing Morgott's fights always just makes me sad, he's one of my favorite bosses but got absolutely beyond shafted by awful scaling. He's the one boss in the game I would not mind if they literally doubled his HP, Defenses/Resistances, and Poise
Morgott still is a great boss. It's just that he is programmed to counter someone as small as the player themselves. That is why he cannot possibly defeat larger characters
I didn't know radagon made noises, I guess I was too focused on not dying and that badass theme that plays for him. Also 4:47 that ultra instinct dodge was epic. And that fight with godrey was awesome and it was a close match.
Man if only we could see the True Prime Radagon; fully intact with all his own gear and weapons, possessing access to his full mastery of Incantations and Sorceries, who as a “Mere Champion” turned Elden Lord is the Father of the mightiest members of the Demigods… As opposed to a buffed up broken puppet of the Elden Beast, with a hammer he borrowed from his “better half”. Still a great video as always and while perhaps not a “lore accurate” Prime Radagon, he still impresses as usual with great style and flair befitting an Elden Lord. Love these videos.
Finally, someone sums up the way I feel on the inside on a good day! 14 feet tall and insurmountable! Then it rains and my knees ache, but in my mind, I'm still Radagon of the Golden!
I loved watching Radagon get shit on in his prime. Bro lost to the laser golem, got jumped by the Godskins, choked on Mohg, got dunked on by Maliketh, and get his shit rocked by Godfrey. Perfection.
Now this is the final boss we wanted. gotta wonder how powerful would he be if he had all the great runes of the demigods inside of him. Considering the fact that he has the Elden ring itself in his chest.
*THIS IS HOW RADAGON SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE GAME!* After beating the shit out of every boss of the game there i was, inside of the eardtree, about to face the final boss of the game! After beating Malenia, Godfrey, Mogh, Placidusax, i was only wondering how strong the final boss of the game could have been...... And i was so much disappointed, a weak humanoid with an hammer, with predictable hits and low damage and health... In only few tryes i was able to beat him consistently, only to get teleported to a giant running simulator (without torrent), the Elden Beast. But i liked the design of Radagon a lot, i just whished he was a single boss with maybe 2 phases like Godfrey... and that his blows actually hit hard, and not only seem to! (and maybe keep the Elden Beast like a secret boss which you could only fight with all the remembrances (like the moon presence in BB).
The putrid avatar in the snowfield/elphael could kill any boss, safe for Malenia and Maliketh, imo. It has a lot of health, hits like a truck and can give rot
So much of Radagon's power went into the fact that Elden Beast comes right after without a break that not even giving him multiplied stats and an op heal can save him from some bosses :(
There should be a vesrsion where Radagon fights Malenia and uses his healing spell, so we would hve two healing bosses. But I presume, that that move was taken away from Radagon only to give it to Miquela in the DLC.
Radagon: surrender now them: release the laser golem Radagon oh shit.... also sad that placi lost but radagon anime dodging those laser beams was epic. glad mohg won tho. also also, in addition to the knight faction battle would love to see something with juno in it as well.
Am I the only one that's never seen Radagon use that heal miracle before? Does he only do it when you play super passive against him? I fought him many of times on my no leveling/upgrading challenge run and he never did this.
*Prime radagon is Marika & she can't be killed. Because the grace that revives us? She's the source of it. She's Unkillable until you defeat Maliketh.* *That's what the impenetrable thorns meant. This isn't prime radagon*
