I truly struggle with this. I started as a young kid as a result of trauma and neglect and carried on to adulthood. It’s definitely fed by secular music. I find that when I’m listening to worship music I’m convicted by this sin
Yes music can be a trigger too! Trauma most definitely can allow an open door for unhealthy and addictive habits. I'm praying for you as well and I will be uploading and giving more resources on this topic soon!
this is honestly needed because I’ve been doing this as a child i was literally remember the first time i ever did it.I literally spend hours pacing around my wrong imaging people and a version of me WHO DOESNT EXIST.i need to Jesus to break this chain
I needed this video. I probably been maladaptive daydreaming for 1-2 years. It’s become an ADDICTION. I never understood why people said it was a sin but it takes hours out of my day and you have such a good perspective on it. I know this journey isn’t going to be easy but I know I’m not alone because I have Jesus on my side. Amazing video!!
This habit is terrible for me, I still haven't managed to overcome it! I've had it since I wasn't even a Christian, when I was a child I already had it. UPDATE: I was delivered from this by the power of the Holy Spirit!!! I said in my mind, and also said out loud: devil, get away from me, and never come back, in the name of Jesus!!!
Wow, you’re completely correct. This is a sin. It’s so incredible how it can disguise itself as something that feels and is seemingly innocent and good. My dear God, please help us all, all of us maladaptive daydreamers. Like you said, people don’t talk about this enough! Not at all. Thank you for this video 🤍, during a fasting period, I randomly came across a video about maldaptive day-dreaming.. and I was taken aback because that has become a norm to me. Now many weeks later, this video popping up randomly again is a reminder that I need to continue to pray against it and pray over my mind. The Lord will help us overcome this. 🙏🏾❤️ God bless you. You have the power to resist and cast away in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Never say never. Know your worth as a child of God. I’m also struggling. But I know that we can conquer this sin through Christ who strengthens us❤
God understands and He will be with you. Just accept Him and keep seeking him. He will deliver you. When you feel tempted focus on God's Word. If you fall short, repent and try again. You can do it in His strength. God loves you. God Bless.
We all may still struggle with sin or some form of addiction. These things don't determine salvation. Romans 10:9-10 defines salvation. So pray about your struggles and give those struggles to God. But no doubting your salvation if you truly believe in Christ 😊. When you have the Holy Spirit in you like she said He will convict you but not damn you. You can do nothing for your salvation but trust in Jesus and what He accomplished completely. God bless my friend 😇
