I hate the Steelers but you know why they’re 6-2 with less talent they know how to draft and develop players, and they actually have a coaching staff pretty much says it all
@@jharp08 They know how to win, but they held onto problem guys in Leveon Bell, Antonio Brown for a long time, and Rothlesberger had some issues. I think they just know how to win overall, but they've had their issues too in the recent past.
I'm a diehard fan living abroad, and with everything going on with my Bengals, I never miss an episode as part of my therapy for how they are performing. Thank you so much and hope I can make it one day to a game in Cincy where I can see them win.
Bless his little pea-pickin' heart...if the rest of the team was playing like Burrow, I'd believe they had a shot, but there are too many bums on the team and on the coaching staff.
if Zac Taylor is fired two things: Mike Brown will not pay the money a good coach commands in the NFL ($12mil+), and two, no good coach is going to come here with how this franchise is organized and managed (No GM, shoestring scouting assets, terribly inept front office, intrusive owner, etc) and the tightwad penny-pinching ways of Mike Brown. We do not have a lot of true talent on this team. We've got Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins when he's healthy, and Trey Hendrickson. Everyone else is middling. They're great guys, and some are good, but that's the standout talent here. The franchise is failing their star QB in this regards, and that includes the quality of coaching too. Nothing will change until there is new ownership. I've followed them since 1980.
@daweimer71 The old mantras for decades now reappear with every down turn this organization has ever had. Mike Brown, cheep. And fire people. When they are winning division and conference titles. The coach is brilliant. And Mike Brown is an iconic patriarch of the game. Lmao. Any given Sunday. Since 1969. Stood in the Bengals tunnel at the freezer bowl. Knew a guy! Lol. Yer nose hairs actually froze. Say Who Dey Anyway
@@NOC1TIME sounds amazing but also too cold lol... I "performed" lol on the field before the ?last? all star game at riverfront... about 10 years before it closed
Zac Taylor yearly salary is "tied for 14th in the NFL alongside the likes of Dan Campbell and Dan Quinn, according to Front Office Sports. Taylor is entering the third season of extension, which ties him to the team through the 2026 season.Aug 22, 2024" If the Bengals wanted to they could easily cut Zac, they lost more money on the Tre Waynes contract (lost $30M for basically no production, Tre did take a couple of special teams snaps in the super bowl) and they could have just cut Waynes after the first year but they didn't. I'm not advocating for them to cut Zac but I would like to see Zac give up playcalling to see if that would help at all... so he can focus on all aspects of the game instead of offensive playcalling
Must win is an understatement. Had so much hype and hope for this team. I feel the coaching staff is letting this team down and fans down. Zac leave the ego at the door and give up play calling.
it's crazy relying on Iosivaas to step up and be that guy with no Tee Higgins. I like him as a person but lets not forget he was a 6th rd pick for a reason. It's also crazy seeing Hendrickson be shut down all day by Fred Johnson of all people who lets not forget was TRASH when he was on the Bengals.
Bengals fan since 2000. Started watching when I was 6. I hope we don’t make the playoffs. This front office needs to be taught a lesson. We need a culture change. Making the playoffs will not motivate them to change. They won’t make trades make coaching changes. Not be cheap, play players that need paying. A culture change is needed.
@@mateosworld8280 this Bengals fan since 2012. Anyways the FRONT OFFICE didn't learn when joe got hurt his 1st year. Then they didn't learn much him taking close to 60 sacks the next year. Then when we got rid of joe mixon they're still not learning. And we still may lose tee Higgins next year. And they haven't replaced Tyler Boyd presence. Im glad ppl think so highly of us because of joe. However between a sorry coach, and sorry pieces and just letting players go WITHOUT even trying. Speaking of pressure… the ONLY time this team is able to get it together and play a full game is against KC… 3rd downs always blitz and getting pressure on Mahomes 3&8 3&12 it don’t matter.. hurts and Daniel’s AND LAMAR all had 3&15 or MORE and completed a pass… can’t wait for the draft where they draft a EDGE and don’t develop him.
Great conversation guys. Speaking truths. That bit about Joe processing was so accurate and funny. Agree there was no good adjustment in the second half. Felt like everyone just lost their concentration after that play to Devonte - for an entire quarter. They’ve got to just finish the game whatever it takes. If they’re only gonna concentrate for half the game, they might as well give up. No production from the WR crew atm (except Ja’marr and Tee). Expecting Ja’marr to pull off some miracle with that 4th and 1 play was just not smart. Not sure why they threw to Burton on that 3rd and 3 either (I can at least forgive that as it could’ve been a great play), but to have worked so hard to get all the way down the field and not get it 🙈. Could’ve had 3 more goes if they just got 3 more yards. It doesn’t speak volumes of the decision making. Statistically, lots of bad calls. Run game hasn’t been great except when Drew or Erick have blocked. Agree, I don’t care about any of it - just win. 🐯
Of course it would but we’ve had the last 30 years to stop and people keep going. The next thing that’s going to happen if shit doesn’t get fixed is Joe wanting out. I’m a half season away for feeling sorry for one of the highest paid qb’s in the league. History of ruining great players runs deep with the Brown family. Rinse and repeat. Same old same old.
Another problem though is that they make you decide whether to commit to season tickets right before the season but a season in advance. So season ticket holders already decided right before this season started, whether they wanted to renew for 2025 and had to pay some money up front for that. So those people can’t bail for next year, no matter how bad this season gets. Not sure how much of the 65k Paycor holds is taken by season ticket holders, but it can’t be an insignificant number.
It’s hard to have faith right now but I’ve seen this team turn it around so you fight until you’re mathematically eliminated. I remember that bad loss a couple years ago by Cleveland to go 4-4 and then the Bengals won the next 9 regular season games and a playoff game. They don’t seem to have the it factor right now and I’m not sure where that comes from but hopefully they figure out what they need.
We gotta go 7 and 2 from here realistically can we do it the way they are playing now half way through the season man that's a long shot who dey for sure but damn yall
the question is, can Cincy suddenly become a team they are not--or haven't been yet? 3-1 vs losing teams, 0-4 against winning teams. And Sunday was a total obliteration of the Bengals... so they're not exactly trending up right now. Burrow says they need to win 7 of the last 9. That means beat all the losing teams (3) and at least 4 of the winning teams (6, Pitt counts twice). The roster isn't going to change. The staff isn't going to change. So where does the change come from?
This team has become the 2020 bengals terrible, Joe is a lapdog now and tee is an injury prone. Zac and Lou are unlikeable and are painted as good guys. The bengals got all these great players and were supposed to be a Super Bowl contender But they reverted to the same old boring bengals tired nonsense.I never bought it. Should have of never got stone and battle totally ruined everything. Bengals never got a big win cause Zac cant couch , there always has to be an excuse for the bengals not winning the superbowl when it's bad coaching and bad defense give the bengals KCs defense and coaches and we would obliterate these bums. It's a shame cause this team had real potential, but they went down the kiddy route with these rookies on defense who suck. who actually cares about them.
Burrow and the run game... Because unless Burrow is willing to change to more pistol (only 6% of time prior to Eagles game) and UC to help the run game. Burrow just wants shotgun 75% of time which has the worst angles and then wants to say the run is not working... then he should want to change anything and everything to make the run game better. Obv our running scheme is the problem and Burrow seems like he just wants a magical RB to fix everything otherwise he could say in his presser that he is open to do anything to make the run game better Burrow could have meetings and "practices" in their off day or time like the defense does. Burrow could meet and "practice" more with his receivers... if it doesn't negatively affect his wrist
Of course, anything is possible. This is not a post-season football team right now. Feels like as much off field matters, as on field issues. The whole thing seems off.
No.Wake up James.Ownership let good defensive players walk after Super Bowl team. The Defense is Atrcious. GESEICKI is not good.Drops passes the New England game he dropped a T D.Bad coaching also .
As of now, season is still open. Quite frankly we already got a division win and have 4 more division games ahead of us. If we play Nov and Dec Football like we did the last 3 years, then we have a chance. If not, then it’s time to talk about the draft. With that said WHO Dey!!!!!!
I believe we gotta get under center a lot more. Our run production has been abysmal out of shotgun this year for some odd reason. If we can utilize our te in the passing game on mismatches and focus on the time of possession, we’ll lose out on explosiveness BUT have a steady offense. Defense (which is our weak link) is off the field as well and no pressure to be dominate We don't need to be a juggernaut but just productive enough like the 2008 Giants or last year's chiefs
I would absolutely feel different if they win by 50. And why does that matter? Because Zac Taylor is uncomfortable winning by double digit margins. If he won by 50 it would be him not being afraid to run up the scoreboard! We need a 50 point win!
💯as soon as the bengals go up by 2 scores, zac taylor be getting too "comfortable" and playing the "not to lose mentality". he's literally helping the opponent get back in the game. he needs to go for the kill and finish off teams!
I’m 52 years old and been a bengal fan since 1976. This season is over. Nothing else to talk about. As far as the near future we need to pay and keep our players that makes us a better team. Also need to bring in top players to help get to the next level. If these things don’t happen then we will continue to be mediocre

We gave up good players and coaches in the last couple of years and it shows !! The energy has faded we jus don't look the same to much inconsistent sometimes the defense play sometimes no pressure and no plays not having a good year so far Bengal fans deserve better

The reason they need WR production so much is because their run game SUCKS! At 4.1 Y/C, we're 26th in the NFL and at 89.8 Y/G we're 28th, and to be fair, the Chiefs are at 3.9 Y/C and 122.1 Y/G for 14th. What this means is that we break a few big runs open, but we also get stuffed for a lot of losses and zero gain. The Chiefs are more consistently getting yards, and consequently 1st downs. The Ravens are at 6.2 and Commanders at 5.2 Y/C. I realize Burrow's currently the #1 rated QB, but the offense overall is 7th overall in passing yards and 28th in rushing yards. The defense is 24th in yards allowed. An improvement in run blocking would change the entire offense, especially if the WR2+'s start getting more separation, Joe sees them, and has confidence in his wrist to hit them. Honestly, if there was one quick thing I'd do with the offense, it'd be to implement several QB-designed runs. Joe has done the work. Those are yards waiting to be had, and it will keep the linebackers and safeties guessing a little.
everything you said was spot on💯I said it before the season started and I've only said it more as the season has went on..........they HAVE to throw in at least some more RPO's if not read options. the defenses don't really view joe burrow as a threat in the running game but we have seem him run and he's faster than most people think. I get that he's had quite a few injuries in his career, but the offense has to at some point open up to more plays and at least look more creative. a lot of bengals fans, including myself, can predict a lot of times on what type of playcall they are going to do during the games, let alone the defense which tells you everything you need to know about the amount of creativity in this offense.......not much!
Why can’t we see Chase Higgins and Burton on the field together all game long ??? The 3 best receivers on the field I don’t know why Zac and his staff can’t see this or figure this out He’ll make Burton run go routes every play. At least he will clear his man / 2 outta the way and chase and tee can cook Zac and his staff are sooo frustrating when it comes to running this team. They have always been this way. .. just our team has been able to do just enough to bail out Zac out over the years
Is it actually funny that Ja'Marr didn't know about the time change or does it speak to this team being unprepared and unaware? How long before his presser was the time changed?
No the season is not over still got a lot of football to play The Bengals can turn this around , Make a playoff run stay positive and keep working. Who dey Bengals!
Oh BY THE WAY , WE GOT 4 KICKERS, CAN WE TRY SOMEONE NEW? WE GOT MORE RECEIVERS BUT DO THEY WANT TO BE ELITE? WE GOT 2 OTHER BACKS. PUT DEM BACKS TO WORK. TE ? WE NEED TO TRY EVERYTHING, I MEAN EVERYTHING EVERYTHING
The turning point of the Eagles game was when the offense realized early in the 2nd quarter that the defense was not going to be any help that day. Then drives started to stall and we missed a FG. When the offense realizes they’re going to have to play a perfect game and they don’t have the pieces to do so (garbage O-Line) then you get results like Sunday.
Cincy sports is cursed for real, the reds and bengals its so hard being a fan 😂😂 both franchises are cheap and happy being mediocre as well as wasting players careers, thats why I felt bad for votto being stuck and not winning his entire career there and now it seems its happening to burrow now 😞😞
you know why tom brady was so good because they ran the ball mostly and passed the ball when he needed to thats what taylor needs to do to help burrow if not this year next year for sure draft a really good RB And WR next draft because once tee higgins is gone chase is going to be doubled all the time and never open next year fact and chase brown just isn't joe mixon caliber RB sorry but true and chase brown is good but not good all the time he is average and he has one or 2 good games but thats pretty much it
Just kind of odd how they kind of rallied around Browning and really impressed in a tough situation toward the end of the year last year, yet this year they are just struggling in so many areas. Defense has been bad overall, but now the Offense hasn't been good for 3 weeks, and McPherson has missed key FGs, and Burrow has made key turnovers late in games that have really hurt the team. I still kind of think the contract issues with Chase, Higgins and Hendrickson even brought a bad vibe around this team. But I don't know, just an opinion maybe that's not the issue. Their recent draft picks of Hill, Murphy and signings of Stone, and Bell have not panned out yet. Remember they also signed Nick Scott as a Safety last year and I forgot he even started games for them. Cam Taylor Britt maybe is a little overrated too. Just a lot has not come together. Still think they could make a run, but they seem kind of lifeless, complacent, uninterested in some ways too.
they have talented wide receivers. the problem is the bengals aren't good at run blocking and their playcalling scheme is too basic. the pass offense overall has been very good but it would be performing a lot better if the bengals were having more efficient/explosive runs while also having a better offensive overall scheme. for the past few season, we have been relying on the bengals coach zac taylor get carried by the talents and even though it's been successful a lot of times, they would so much better and would take the next step if not for their head coach. with that being said, the bengals still have a chance at making the playoffs and part of that is because the NFC is looking better than the AFC so far this season. also, I realized that whenever the bengals have their bye week, it appears that they play way better and it's been that way the past 3 seasons. in 2021, they have a 2 game losing streak going into their bye and played way better the next couple of games. in 2022, they got blown out by the browns, they blew out the panthers, got their bye week and didn't lose another game until the AFC title game. in 2023, they were struggling in the first 6 games, got their bye week, and then proceeded to dominate the 49ers and beat the bills. unfortunately, their bye week this season isn't until week 12. this upcoming 3 game stretch going into their bye is VERY crucial though. I prefer them to win all 3 games but if they at least win 2 out of the 3 games and play how they typcially do after the bye week, then the bengals can have a legit chance at making the playoffs.
It’s like Mike Brown learned nothing after the decade of the nineties. He’s not even embarrassed of the product he puts on the field. Everyone talks about the talent on this team, unfortunately the talent is represented in about five or six players.
I hate to say it but until the Brown family sells the team which will never happen this is what to expect.I been through three Super Bowls the Brown family treats the Bengals as their only income. They will always look for bargains when it comes to players and will never go all in to make this team better
@ Because thats is his only income and he wants to make as much profit for the family as he can.Where other owners like the Browns Houston Texans New England owners and others have made their money by having other businesses. And just because the Bengals team is worth billions on paper that doesn’t mean they are not cash strap they don’t have the money to guarantee contracts where they put that money in escrow.Because they would have sign Jamar Chase and Bengals don’t like to guarantee contracts but they had to with Burrow. The brown family is ranked 31 out of 32 owners in wealth the Packers are ranked 32 but they are publicly-owned, non-profit corporation since Aug. 18, 1923.And the other owners treat their team as a hobby wanting to win not worry about how much profit they can make. The Bengals have the smallest scouting and front office in the NFL where the coaches have to go out there scouting. And the Bengals will not fire a coach no matter how bad they are until it affects them financially like Marvin Lewis
We don’t have an offensive line good enough to give Joe Burrow the time he needs to get the ball down the field. Everything has to be a quick release for a reason and it’s not because our offense is better when Joe gets rid of the ball quickly. It’s because Cordell Volson and Alex Kappa give Joe a combined 0.50 secs to throw the ball.
Browns didn't just have a change at QB, Stefanski gave up the play call, those two things together opened up the offense. At what point does Zac finally give up the book and let Pitcher call the plays? That is a legitimate question that needs to be asked and followed up on. I'm not excited at all about this team beating the Raiders, it will just reinforce the Zac Taylor okey doke mentality heading into Baltimore. The offense is going to have to put up enough points and hold the ball long enough that opposing teams can't out-score them. Gesicki should be WR3, Erick All should be TE1, Brown should be RB1, Burton needs to be on the field rotating as WR3 and WR4, Iosivas should be saved for the red zone. No more running Jamaar out of the backfield or throwing him short passes, he makes his plays deep, that's where he needs to live. Fans at the games need to be armed with paper bags to put on their heads when we lose, and right above the eye holes, in big letters, 'Fire Zac Taylor!' Nobody thinks for a second that the Brown family will part ways with Taylor, but enough pressure might just force him to give up the play call.
Technically the season isnt over until after week 18. But no their season isnt over yet, however, anything less than the post season is a complete disaster. These other teams who have less talented rosters are performing exceptionally well, and its because of coaching. PERIOD.
If Marvin cooks up on Zac will it be enough for change? He always has teams ready for the Ravens. If it gets some change on the offensive coaching staff, I'm all for the Raiders kicking the Bengals ass. This team is not going to the playoffs, so they might as well play everyone they got and prep for the draft and free agency. Hopefully a new head coach as well.
He looked like a deer caught in the headlights in that interview. He's being done wrong by this franchise. He needs to get out of here before he becomes Carson Palmer 2.0.
Why would we think the season will turn around when we’re looking at the same glaring holes the fans were concerned about at the beginning of the season that the front office did nothing about? When those concerns are the reasons why were so bad this year then where is the light at the end of that tunnel exactly? We all knew it was going to be bad, we convinced ourselves to be positive and now look at us. This season is over. Next season too probably, this team is that talentless.
Here's my take: Bengals should've made some trades. We use to spread that ball to 2 elite RBS, 3 WRS AND 1 REALLY GOOD TE. NOW CHASE B SUCKS , ONLY PASSING IT YTO 2 WRS. AND OUR DEFENSE IS ASS AND GRASS🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 NO REASON WE SHOULDN'T HAVE WON AGAINST THE EAGLES. THEY'RE NOT ALL OF THAT. BENGALS GOT TO REBUILD AND IM SICK OF IT
Let’s face it this seasons OVER!! Doesn’t matter what u have on offense . I might not be a smart man but he has not said anything about the run game, or the lack of run game I should say. Just because we have Joe burrow doesn't help without having a running back who can get more than 3 yards a carry. It's ridiculous! God I miss Mixon!
Y’all talking about Joe burrows stats saying well he’s playing good that don’t mean shit lol Deshaun Watson on the Texans had a great statistical year and the team was 4-12 lol worry less about stats and get wins!
No. They cannot. They don't have the talent or coaching to do it. There's no way to rearrange these current pieces into team with a shot at anything worth playing for today.
I’m trying to get through the video but almost 4 minutes in the obvious isn’t mentioned yet. Zach Taylor is a horrible play caller and not a good head coach. Not ready to play until the 3rd or 4th week for 3 years in a row. He was a nfl QB coach elevated to Head Coach. The experiment failed. I like his character but he lacks the coaching pedigree for the NFL. Who did he learn from? Burrow and Chase deserve a top tier NFL coach and a staff to go along with it.
Must be great to make 21 mil a year and not even have to play when you dont want to! Love tee as a player but he is hurt way to much for him to be paid top dollar.
If the stadium is emptying before it's over then they are not real fans! Still think Joe is that guy at QB but they have some issues for sure! All you fans who leave before your Team has stopped playing so you can get out early ! Your not a real fan! That goes for any fan for any Team!!

Once again, a rule of mine proves true: multisentence comments which have an exclamation point at the end of each sentence are generally written by unhinged, irrational people.
The problem here... all wins have been ugly and not convincing... oh close losses bmore, chiefs, Washington, pats... blown out by philly... what are yall smokin... zac has to give up play calling
