Can Deaf people drive? 

For Quintus Pedius’ sake- stop asking us those type of questions. 😁 I understand that there’s curiosity of how Deaf people do specific things in life such as how do we communicate with each other or how do we make phone calls, but how do we cross the street or if we can drive? Come on.. gotta be better questions out there. I remember being asked how my Deaf volleyball team in high school could hear the volleyball going over the net… how baffling…I wouldn’t know. 🙄😁

Go Helen!” The scene changes to Renca acting like “Helen.” She is wearing a black shirt with the ASL App logo on it. She has light blue jeans. She says “How do Deaf people sleep? First, we position ourselves like this…then we grab a pillow…(Renca takes the pillow and sleeps while she is standing up). (snores). THAT!” Next scene, “Helen” is in the kitchen. She says “How do Deaf people cook?” She picks up two rocks…tries to light a fire (strike-strike-spark-spark). THAT!”Next scene, “Helen” is in the bathroom then she says “How do Deaf people brush their teeth? We get a toothbrush and toothpaste. (squeeze toothpaste). (brush-brush) Renca is seen brushing the toothbrush on her nose. (deep cleaning mode). (whee). THAT!” Next scene, Renca is sitting on the floor and she says “How do Deaf people feel the music beats? We grab an ipod or any music device. We take the earphones…put them in our mouths. (clicks). (feeling the vibrations). THAT!” Next scene, Renca is in the dining room: “How do Deaf people eat?” We take a fork and fork it in our food…and place it in our ear. (Renca is seen placing a fork of kale and yogurt in her ear). (swallows) (yum-yum-yum). Whoo I’m full! THAT!” The next scene Renca is next to her car “How do Deaf people drive? We enter the car…adjust ourselves..then hit the gas pedal! (vroom vroom vroom!) (Renca is sitting upside down on her car seat) THAT!” The scene goes back to Renca laying on the grass with her sunglasses. She says “(Shrieks!) Well hope that helped you UNDERSTAND better! ILLLYYY!! (Squeals-mwah).”
